Volume 10. Chapter 272: Unfortunately, Our Wife Is A Sucker For Matchmaking… (Chapter 1173)
Chapter 272: Unfortunately, Our Wife Is A Sucker For Matchmaking…
Let it be known that, just as was figured out, Celia doesn’t have an innate hatred of males. Maybe one day…this will rub off on the misandristic members of her harem, but that is something out of the scope of this narration. At least, look, the end (of the narration, not us!!!) is near, adding extra details/extending the into more chapters…would just be disgustingly distasteful by default. Also, I am tired of living in the third person like this. My pay doesn’t even matter anymore!…
Rant aside, when we said ‘everyone,’ we meant everyone; not an exaggeration in the slightest. That included males. Why bring this up? Well…my wife is an addict through and through. How else would she have already found out about Aelia’s Destined Lovers? Speaking of which, you might be confused on why Celia scolded them so much. It is just a repeat of our original relationship to Celia, one that we didn’t wish to let continue any longer. That is to say, Aelia is abusable, willing to do whatever her wives wish, even if it’d hurt her.
Celia: “Hm…” She mused with an odd expression, sipping some tea as well.
Vulely: “Are you confused/conflicted about something, or do you have some new idea that will shock us to the very core?” I asked with a worried tone, which I wasn’t able to mask at all.
Celia: “Nope, I think that I’ve run out of things such as that to do. At least, I shouldn’t have any for the next thousand years or so…” She denied with an unsure tone.
Vulely: “…Ignoring your scary uncertainty, what were you mulling over, if not an absurd, future act of yours?” I said with a deep sigh.
Celia: “I find that many of the Mortals have far more than one Destined Lover. Of course, the average is 2-5 per person, large harems being a rarity for the Higher Beings as well.” She explained with a thinking pose.
As much as I tried to hide it, my beloved fell (we actually allowed this, as a treat) back into her old ways. Or rather, she never truly gave up this obsession of being the greatest matchmaker in existence; Celia just has a superb, vast amount of patience and restraint. Playing this role isn’t seen as work by her, either.
It is fun, entertainment, a fulfilling act. Why restrict her from doing it? Jealousy is a factor, yes; but having Celia be the mother of all relationships…is a heavy burden to bear. However, Celia is at the point where she can easily withstand any weight, and wants this; who are we to get in the way of our wife’s happiness? Yes, as part of the weddings attractions, Celia has been hooking up random people for life…
Vulely: “Well, not everyone can take care of so many spouses, Celia.” I said with a shrug, stating something that is a simple fact of life.
Celia: “Ah, I understand that. I just feel sad that Mortals can only really have one spouse, since their lifespans are too short. Although, I guess that isn’t an issue anymore, teehee~.” She clarified with a cheeky giggle.
Vulely: “(- _ -)”
