Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 10. Chapter 177: They Had No Idea How To React! (Chapter 1078)

Chapter 177: They Had No Idea How To React!

At first, they thought about laughing in reply to what Celia said; but found no hint of her words being a joke. Then the two recalled who exactly that they were talking to; a woman who rarely ever lied, and doesn’t hide her mistakes.

Which meant that Celia was the cause of their downfall, leading God and the Devil to get a bit angry. However, said anger didn’t last long, as they knew that Celia wouldn’t have hurt them like this on purpose. Rather, it was mostly their fault for not making Heaven more sturdy against invaders, and not gaining Levels, increasing their Statuses.

God: “Wait… how is this your fault?” She asked with a confused tone and expression.

The Devil: “There was no hint of Celia on Pelia, so it isn’t that she colluded with that woman. They’re certainly unrelated.” She added with a confident tone.

Celia: “Pelia? While there’s a ‘lia’ in her name, I don’t know anyone with it.” She denied with an honest tone.

Clang!

Before Celia answered the first question, she freed the two women, healing, cleaning, and dressing them as well. While this was far better than still being crucified, it brought the mother-daughter pair further, Celia-themed discomfort.

They weren’t aware of what Celia had been getting up to, or that she was even alive. God never asked the Angels about this, you see. On top of that, both of them expected for Celia to have to try hard to free them; each binding weapon ridiculously strong, Pelia able to overpower and seal them easily.

God: “Uh… did you get even stronger, Celia?” She asked with a reluctant tone.

Celia: “Hm? Quite a bit, yeah.” She nonchalantly replied with a light nod.

The Devil: “I’ll regret requesting this, but… could we see your Status, Celia?” She added with a deadpan expression.

Celia: “Sure, I don’t mind. Status.” She instantly agreed, seeing nothing wrong with forcing the cruel reality of her power onto these two friends of hers.

God and the Devil: “(- _ -)”

Celia: “?”

To them, this sight was majorly depressing. Like before, my wife will be able to steam roll this whole situation, while they have to sit back, unable to match her Status. The takeover was destined to fail the exact second that Celia came to Heaven.

God: “Celia, may I ask why you believe that this is your fault? Pelia coming here, defeating us, and taking over?” She asked with a sigh, rubbing her head.

Celia: “This Pelia woman likely powered up via Soul Crystals.” Was her vague answer.

The Devil: “And? Soul Crystals are hard to get for most, Pelia merely had a lot of resource to waste, buying a lot of them for Levels. How is this related to you?” She said with her arms crossed, and eyebrow raised.

Celia: “Indirectly. Soul Crystals are of my creation, and are managed by my family.” She clarified with a smile, not realizing how absurd these words were to God and the Devil.
