Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 10. Chapter 176: Not Even Heaven Is Safe… (Chapter 1077)

Chapter 176: Not Even Heaven Is Safe...

Vulely: “…”

Celia: “What’s wrong? Also, do you want to go with me? Exploring Heaven together, I mean.” She innocently asked with a wifely tone and smile.

Vulely: “N-nothing, dear. Also, I’ll stick to narration; as I don’t want to get in the way of your screen time.” I denied with a forced smile, giving my wife a peck on her lips, before then teleporting back to my office.

Foolishly, I expected for Celia to… have trouble with the barrier, likely needing help from someone to get in. Unfortunately for my well-meaning assumption, my wife very simply just… used her sword, slashing a large hole into the Divinity barrier; like it was softer than melted cheese…

With a shrug, as if she didn’t invade a place that was clearly trying to keep people out, Celia casually flew past the barrier, and into Heaven. She was here on business, but, my wife seemed a bit interested in exploring around; curious about how much Heaven had changed since she was last here.

A Few Hours Later.

Celia: “…”

That barrier was a bright, golden color, and very translucent; which prevented Celia from seeing past the blur. And after flying around for a bit, it was apparent that… Heaven had been reduced to a desert once more; like in that destroyed future Celia prevented.

However, the person who originally caused this to happen, killing God and the Devil, before she then took over Heaven completely… is Celia’s wife; that woman doing whatever back in our estate. There was one large city still around, though; but it… had an even stronger barrier protecting it.

God: “…”

The Devil: “…”

Celia: “…”

God: “W-we… can explain, Celia.” She said with a feigned calm tone.

Taking a page out of Jesus’s book, God and the Devil were on crosses, hands bound by powerful daggers stabbed into them, feet getting the same treatment; an equally powerful sword piercing their hearts, as well. On top of that, there were two smaller knives stabbed into their wombs, giving the two no means of recovering Divinity.

Celia was silent as can be, since this shouldn’t have been possible; God and the Devil being defeated this badly. They were set up just outside the main, barrier protected entrance of this city; a testament to whomever is the new ruler, or merely a threat. Disrespecting and displaying such ancient and powerful beings like this… is an extremely intense statement, regardless of the real intention behind doing so.

Celia: “No, wait… How do I know for sure that you two are real, and not a trap? None of this makes any sense; I left Heaven in an amazing state…” She expressed with an uncertain thinking pose.

The Devil: “Celia, please don’t look at us like we’re complete and utter failures.” She pleaded with a slight scoff.

Celia: “I’m not, I am just confused.” She denied with a head tilt, an action so familiar… that Celia accidentally proved herself to be real to these two, instead of them doing this for Celia.

God: “Listen, Celia… we got played because of… negligence, yes, but it was also out of our hands; even if we did bother to gain more Levels.” She explained with a sigh.

The Devil: “Prior to this, Heaven had actually improved a lot since you were last here. In fact, this current state is… something that happened within the last 80 years, you see.” She added, sighing alongside her mother-lover.

Celia: “Ah! So this is my fault… Teehee~!” She replied with a remorseful tone and expression, before then trying to play it off.

The Devil and God: “(O.o)”
