But he still held his head high, like a cornered beast putting up a final struggle.

"Mr. Qin, I’m willing to return the money. Just give me one more chance!" Minister Liu’s eyes were bloodshot. "To be honest with you, my cousin is a high-ranking officer in the Jinling Military Supervision Office, from the Battle Department! I think anyone, for the sake of the Battle Department, would have to show me some respect. I’m no longer part of the Silver Alliance’s management anyway. We can go our separate ways from now on."
