Chapter 854 Is this our end? I
854 Is this our end? I
Kyle paused behind Enthrall’s figure. The shadow general’s fist was frozen in the air, his eyes filled with panic. Alec was below him, with dark blades piercing his body.
His voice remained unbothered as he glanced at the blue-haired man.
“You want to kill him?”
Alec’s eyes flickered with a dark intensity, his answer unmistakable. Kyle knew Alec wouldn’t be able to find peace unless he killed Enthrall with his own hands.
“Very well. Let me just take what he stole from me. Then he is all yours.”
Enthrall opened his mouth to speak, but no voice emerged under the crushing pressure bearing down on him. Even the simple act of breathing felt challenging. He had only ever felt this powerless before Azazeal.
His mind raced like a wild storm, desperately trying to comprehend what the hell Kyle was talking about. He had never even crossed paths with him, save for that encounter on the Forsaken Land. So, how the hell could he ever steal anything from this powerful man?! The absurdity of the accusation sent chills down his spine.
The dark, six-petal flower in the center of his forehead pulsed with a sinister glow as he desperately tried to contact Azazeal.
‘Help!!! Master!’
Enthrall, the fourth shadow general screamed in his mind repeatedly, but he received no response at all. Panic surged through him, and his eyes widened in terror when a hand brushed against his back.
Sweat poured down his forehead like rain, and he mouthed words in a frantic attempt to reclaim his voice.
‘What are you…!!’
A tearing sound shattered the silence, and the 4th shadow general’s mouth fell open in a silent scream. Kyle lifted the pressure on him just enough for his voice to return, and Enthrall erupted in a primal cry.
“Ahhhhhhhh!”
Enthrall’s bone-chilling screams reverberated through the stillness, sending waves of terror rippling through every single person present in the Sacred Divine Land, making them tremble uncontrollably.
Even Alec shuddered, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of agony emanating from the man who had been beating him a while ago as Kyle violently tore a fragment of his soul, where a glowing essence had merged, as if ripping apart a part of his being.
Damien and Ceano’s fake bodies, which heard the screams, trembled as well. They wanted to flee, but were unable to move.
Kyle destroyed the part of Enthrall’s soul that had merged with the piece of his soul that was stolen in the blue planet.
Only a faint golden light remained in his hand, which then entered his body.
“That was mine.”
He turned to Alec. Spiritual energy erupted from him, healing his severe injuries.
“Deal with him and join the others. You know your presence is important.”
Before Alec could speak, Kyle flicked his fingers, and both he and Enthrall vanished into the portal that appeared below them.
Kyle turned back, his eyes glowing with an otherworldly light. Nature was with him, and it was time for him to create a sea of blood, a show of power and darkness that would leave the world trembling in its wake.
He floated, his gaze directed toward the spot where one of Ceano’s fake bodies was killing Kurt and Elder Hal. The two of them were already unconscious, so he waved his hand, and their bodies levitated in the air before vanishing into the crack where James and the others had vanished.
Once he was sure all those who were part of the plan were gone, he whispered.
“Rise.”
A single word, and the entire Sacred Divine Land trembled violently, as if it were on the brink of collapse. A massive army of black skeletons crawled out from the land, each one of divine rank or higher, their presence a chilling testament to their power.
This was a skill Kyle hadn’t used in a long time, and now it was time to use it, as he wanted to kill every single person here.
The skeletons howled with an unearthly echo, their hollow eyes glowing ominously as they swung their weapons at the forces of the dark side, eliminating them with such brutality that it was as if the massive army was just a mere shadow, very insignificant in the face of this relentless onslaught.
Cries of countless souls filled the air, a cacophony of despair echoing through the darkness. Yet, their anguished wails were utterly drowned out by the clatter of the skeletons, who marched relentlessly.
The dark sky above turned bloody, unleashing a torrential downpour that pooled below, desperately trying to wash away the gathering crimson sea of blood.
Kyle snapped his fingers. Immediately, Damien and all the fake bodies of Ceano in the surrounding surged into the air, forced to see the one-sided bloodbath unfolding.
He fixed them with a deep gaze, and they trembled. They were so overwhelmed by his presence that their minds couldn’t even comprehend the celestial aura.
“Cry, scream, beg for mercy. Not to me, but to the countless individuals who either died because of you or were killed by you.”
Kyle spoke with an unsettling calmness in his voice, which reverberated like thunder.
The more black skeletons emerged from the surface below him, the more the Sacred Divine Land trembled. Part of it was already destroyed, and the remainder was cracking like fragile glass because of the sheer magnitude of power unleashed above.
Damien paled, a ghostly hue washing over his face. He was ready to comply with every demand this man made, all in the desperate hope of survival. But then, without warning, one of Ceano’s fake bodies let out a chilling crackle, his eyes wide with madness.
Blood oozed from his mouth as the crushing pressure intensified around his body, yet he maintained a twisted, wide smile that stretched across his face.
Kyle raised a brow. He permitted him to speak, wanting to hear his final words.
Ceano spat out blood and laughed.
“Just kill us then! What are you waiting for, huh? Let’s see if you can survive after that! Azazeal will be here sooner or later! Your friend dares to claim I am nothing? No, it’s you who stands as nothing before him! I have only ever served the true ruler of this universe! You are a mere shadow in the presence of that ruler!”
