Chapter 1659: Chapter 819: Director Yu Zhihe

"Cut!"

Hearing Tim Lang shout cut, Zhou Yun finally got off Lily Cruise.

Lily Cruise glared angrily at Zhou Yun and said, "Why did you knock my weapon away?"

Zhou Yun said, "You should first ask yourself why you’re not following the moves we rehearsed initially. Changing moves on the spot can easily hurt someone, don’t you know?"

Lily Cruise said, "I only wanted to hit more fiercely."

"I also hit more fiercely. I knocked away your weapon but didn’t hit you," Zhou Yun said directly, "If you don’t follow the rules, don’t blame me for not following the rules either."

Tension flared between the two of them.

Tim Lang came over from the monitor screen to quickly calm both of them.

"Alright, alright, both of you calm down a bit, don’t get carried away by the emotions of the scene just now," Tim Lang said, stepping in between the two women, "Let’s all calm down for now."

Zhou Yun held back the anger rising in her heart and turned to leave.

Lily Cruise also walked away feeling very unhappy.

They had a conflict because of this scene.

This was the first time Zhou Yun had lost her temper since joining the crew.

The reason Zhou Yun was so furious was because today, if it had been anyone else filming this scene with Lily Cruise, they might have already gotten hurt.

When filming action scenes, if both people are professionals it’s one thing, but if neither is, the moves must be rehearsed ahead of time, unlike Lily Cruise who acted recklessly.

When you act recklessly, blades and weapons can’t see, if you injure someone, they’re injured.

What made Zhou Yun angry was Lily Cruise’s lack of remorse.

This irritated her greatly.

She didn’t realize the danger of the situation at all.

After a while, Tim Lang came over to find her.

"Hey, Xiao Yun." Tim had an innocent smile on his face.

Zhou Yun didn’t want to take her anger out on someone else and couldn’t keep a stern face. Hearing this, she sighed, smiled, nodded, and said, "Are we going to reshoot?"

"Oh, no need to reshoot, the take you just did can be used," Tim Lang said, "I just came over to see how you’re doing. I haven’t seen you this angry before."

Zhou Yun nodded, "Yes, I didn’t expect myself to get this angry either."

Tim Lang asked, "Why? Because Lily didn’t follow the moves rehearsed earlier? Sometimes a bit of unexpected change can be good, bringing out more different things."

Zhou Yun shook her head, "Tim, if it were another kind of scene, I wouldn’t mind if actors don’t follow the script, but this situation is different, Tim. In action scenes, Lily and I aren’t trained in Martial Arts. I’ve worked on two action movies, so I know a bit of Kung Fu, but even that’s just flashy moves, not real. If I hadn’t dodged in time just now, she could have seriously injured me. Getting cut and bleeding is a minor issue; if she accidentally stabbed my eye or another sensitive area, it could leave lifelong regrets. My reaction might seem a bit exaggerated to you, but I absolutely detest people who don’t realize how dangerous their actions are to others."

Tim Lang was stunned after hearing Zhou Yun speak.

"Wow, alright, I didn’t realize this could have such serious consequences. No wonder you’re so upset," Tim Lang said.

Zhou Yun asked, "What else needs filming later?"

"Why not call it a day? We’ll continue tomorrow," Tim Lang said, "You should rest and calm down a bit."

"I’m fine, Tim, I’ve already calmed down," Zhou Yun showed Tim Lang a playful smile, "Let’s go."

Tim Lang gave that childlike smile again.

"Alright."

...

At 8 PM, Zhou Yun had just finished bathing and was drying her hair when Zhou Lan suddenly called.

"Xiao Yun, are you at the hotel?"

"Yes, Sister Lan, are you finished with work?"

"I’m with Konosuke Harada from the Japan Matsushige Film Company and Director Yu Zhihe, we just happened to run into each other. They heard you’re here too and want to meet you. We agreed last time to arrange a meeting, but it didn’t happen."

"Oh, great, where should we meet?"

"Let’s meet at your hotel," Zhou Lan said, "Is that convenient?"
