Chapter 1632: Chapter 809: The World’s Attention

She leapt high into the air, drawing a beautifully graceful curve mid-air.

And at this moment, an unexpected scene unfolded.

Zhou Yun, surprisingly, kicked Hugh Redman’s right hand with her toe while backflipping, knocking his dagger away.

Real panic flashed across Hugh Redman’s face as he watched the dagger fall.

The next moment, Zhou Yun had already landed steadily on a branch on the other side, her body sinking with the branch—this branch made by the Prop Team was far more elastic than a real branch, and there was no worry about it breaking.

She looked sharply at Hugh Redman, and at the critical moment, she leveraged the branch’s elasticity again, leaping towards him head-on, her fist clenched, swinging down at Hugh Redman from above.

Hugh Redman instinctively raised his hand to block at that moment.

Zhou Yun surprisingly changed her move again, with her Left Hand slashing diagonally upwards from below, using the weight of her descending body to knock Hugh Redman flying.

A script is just a story. Every character’s personality, each action’s purpose—people have different interpretations. Without affecting the entire plot and character logic, how a character handles things more advanced tests both the director and the actors.

After chatting with Tim Lang, Zhou Yun returned to the hotel.

As a result, she saw Jin Zhulin and her assistant with luggage at the hotel entrance, preparing to leave.

Zhou Yun stood still and called out to her.

Jin Zhulin’s expression was very forlorn, her mood equally low.

She looked up at Zhou Yun, momentarily stunned.

Zhou Yun took a deep breath, walked over, a smile appearing on her face, and asked, "Are you heading back now?" ℯ

Jin Zhulin nodded, still with a brace on her leg, leaning on crutches.

She said, "I have no part left in ’Killing Song,’ staying here is meaningless."

Zhou Yun: "What a pity."

Jin Zhulin uttered a muffled acknowledgment.

"Indeed a pity, thank you," she suddenly said.

Zhou Yun: "If good opportunities arise in the future, let’s work together again."

Jin Zhulin smiled and nodded.

"Alright, see you then," she said.

Zhou Yun watched Jin Zhulin and her assistant leave, walking out of the hotel entrance, feeling somewhat helpless and sad inside.

"Hmm? Is that Jin Zhulin?" Hugh Redman suddenly appeared beside her.

"Yeah." Zhou Yun asked, "What have you been up to?"

"Just swam a bit at the hotel pool," Hugh Redman replied, "Have you been there? The pool here is quite nice."

"No, I just came back from the training ground, I’m heading upstairs." Zhou Yun said.

Hugh Redman asked, "Want to have a drink together?"

"I’m tired." Zhou Yun smiled at him, "Another time."

"Alright."

Zhou Yun went upstairs, took a shower, dried her hair, prepared to sleep.

Since starting training these days, Zhou Yun has gone to bed early every night. Mainly due to the exhausting training, Zhou Yun often felt intense sleepiness right after showering.

Zhou Yun sat on the bed, holding her phone replying to some unanswered messages.

Zhou Lan told her that "Child of Prophecy" has already started, Liu Qidong met Huang Zicheng and Lu Zhongting, favoring Huang Zicheng more.

Zhou Yun replied: Then respect Liu Qidong’s opinion, and comfort Lu Zhongting too.

Zhou Lan: Hmm, I’ve sent the contracts over to the actors’ companies, and they’re currently reviewing them, the issue should be minor. Additionally, the news about this movie has circulated, several people are reaching out, expressing interest to join, should I tell them you’re not starring in it?

Zhou Yun: Tell them, if there are suitable actors, and Liu Qidong is willing, and they wish to participate, why not agree, as long as it’s within budget.

Zhou Lan: I’m just worried they won’t be as interested knowing you’re not starring, only producing.

Zhou Yun: We shouldn’t deceive people, it’s not fair.

Zhou Lan: Sigh, alright, since you said so, let’s be fair.

Zhou Yun: Liu Qidong is a new director, he doesn’t know many things, help him when needed, if there’s anything requiring connections, let me know.

Zhou Lan: Ok, got it, focus on filming there, I have to go there next week, then I’ll come see you, I’ve arranged to meet with two distribution companies there.
