The guard hurriedly agreed; this was originally the task they were handling, and now Mr. Long had captured the people for them, it was entirely a stroke of luck.

"Don’t worry, Mr. Long, I’ll report this to the Young Prince right away."

As for the man lying on the ground, who seemed close to dying, the guard acted as if he were blind and couldn’t see him at all.

After explaining the matter, the Dragon Spirit turned around and went to find Yun Ran.

The man lying on the ground watched the Dragon Spirit leave, feeling no joy at all, only deep regret and despair.

If he had known... if only he had ended himself while he still could move, it would be better than suffering like this now.

Being brought here, he knew he had no possibility of escape anymore.

On the other side, Yun Ran hid those who had been completely corroded by the dark energy and turned into a simple version of Living Dead Puppets in a cave.

Only then did she dig up some unknown grass and wild vegetables, slowly walking back.

Yun Ran’s bright red cloak was really eye-catching.

Yet no one approached to greet her, and even from afar, upon seeing Yun Ran, they immediately avoided her.

Any outsider witnessing this scene might think Yun Ran had done something wrong and was being ostracized.

The Dragon Spirit quickly found Yun Ran, and upon seeing her casual demeanor, a trace of shock passed through his eyes.

"You wouldn’t really feel bored at the camp and come out digging wild vegetables to relieve the boredom, right?"

Was this still the Yun Ran who spent an entire day cooped up in the carriage, refusing even to eat, just to deduce the origin of the Black Fog Forbidden Technique?

"Of course not, I’m not that idle; I just helped deal with something, and by the way took care of those guys who were spying."

When Yun Ran said these words, she did so casually.

Yet it caused Dragon Spirit to furrow his brows: "You mean someone was spying on you? That shouldn’t be.

Lately, you’ve hardly been around; those refugees shouldn’t be aware of your existence, could it be a traitor from our side?"

The Dragon Spirit wasn’t afraid of being spied upon, as they themselves were the most formidable group, envied by others was normal.

His primary concern was the emergence of uncontrollable factors within them.

It is widely known that many great powers eventually meet their doom starting from internal decay.

The word ’traitor’ truly hit the Dragon Spirit’s bottom line.

Yun Ran raised her hand to stop Dragon Spirit’s wild imagination: "It’s not a traitor, and those people weren’t specifically spying on me either.

They seemed to be watching the entire camp, but others always had their sword and magic artifact on hand and were constantly vigilant.

They all appeared difficult to deal with, except me, who seemed soft and easily bullied, without any sense of danger.

Yet everyone in the camp treated me with utmost respect and politeness, so I became their target."

In normal circumstances, Yun Ran’s situation was indeed the best choice for being spied upon.

But those people, even if they regretted their choices now, had no way out, for they had provoked the camp’s greatest performer, Yun Ran.

The Dragon Spirit immediately breathed a sigh of relief: "As long as it’s not a traitor. Wait, no, you led them out, where are they now?"

Saying this, the Dragon Spirit stretched his neck, peering past Yun Ran to look behind her; the newly trampled path was completely empty.
