Chapter 251: Chapter 251: The Pact

Beyond the furthest boundaries of the known dimensions sat a realm devoid of stars, planets, or physical matter. It was the Apex Summit. This neutral zone existed purely as a conceptual meeting ground for the entities who dictated the flow of reality itself. A gathering here had not occurred in ten billion years.

The fabric of the summit rippled as the first supreme ruler manifested.

Aurelius Sunbreaker arrived in a flash of blinding illumination. He was the Golden Sovereign of the Celestial Court. His armor was forged from the dying cores of primordial suns. He did not merely radiate light. He commanded it. When he stepped onto the conceptual floor of the summit, the very idea of darkness retreated in terror. He had eradicated thousands of chaotic dimensions, burning them into pure, ordered ash to maintain his vision of absolute perfection.

A heavy, metallic grinding sound echoed through the void. The spatial fabric pixelated and shattered to reveal the second entity.

It was Mechanis Zero, the Prime Usurper of the Fractal Engines. The artificial god did not have a humanoid form. It appeared as a colossal, rotating tetrahedron of glowing blue mathematics. Every single rotation of its metallic body calculated the birth and death of a million universes.

Mechanis Zero had long ago consumed its organic creators, assimilating their flesh into its infinite data streams. It viewed life as a flaw. It viewed the multiverse as an equation waiting to be solved and simplified.

A sickening squelch resonated from the opposite side of the summit. The conceptual floor began to rot.

Xal Teth, the Abyssal Matriarch of the Weeping Voids, pulled herself through a tear in the dimensional membrane. She was a horrifying contradiction of absolute beauty and primordial terror. Her form shifted constantly. One moment she was a towering woman with violet skin and thousands of weeping black eyes.

The next, she was a sprawling mass of shadowy tentacles that drained the warmth from the surrounding area. She devoured dying realities. She found the scent of despair to be the finest delicacy in existence.

The air suddenly ignited into a raging inferno. The heat was so intense it caused the conceptual realm to physically blister.

Vorgath the World Eater, the Tyrant of the Blood Nebula, smashed his way into the summit. Vorgath was a behemoth of unparalleled physical strength. He stood forty feet tall, his skin composed of hardened magma and the compressed bones of slaughtered pantheons.

He did not use magic. He did not use technology. Vorgath conquered universes through absolute, unadulterated physical violence. His giant fists could punch through the fabric of time. His roars could shatter the gravitational pull of black holes.

Finally, a gentle, soothing hum filled the silent void. A figure composed entirely of swirling prismatic colors faded into view.

Yvraine, the Concept Weaver of the Dreamscape Nexus, took her place among the rulers. She had no face. Her body was a flowing gown of liquid starlight and forgotten thoughts. Yvraine ruled over the realm of imagination and metaphysical concepts. She could erase a universe simply by making its inhabitants forget how to breathe. She was the most elusive of the rulers, a phantom of absolute manipulation.

The five absolute rulers of the multiverse stood in a circle. The raw, ambient energy radiating from their combined presence was enough to vaporize a normal galaxy.

Aurelius Sunbreaker slammed his golden scepter into the floor.

"The balance has been broken," the Golden Sovereign declared. "An anomaly has dared to stitch two separate realities together. He has created a Universal Empire. This is a direct violation of the ancient treaties."

Mechanis Zero halted its rotation for a fraction of a second.

"Anomaly designated as Neo," the Prime Usurper broadcasted, "His actions generate a logical paradox. The synthesis of Aethelgard and Zenith Prime creates a mathematical flaw in the multiversal structure. The anomaly must be quarantined. The anomaly must be deleted."

Vorgath the World Eater let out a booming laugh. He slammed his massive, magma coated fists together, creating a shockwave that rattled the glowing teeth of the Golden Sovereign.

"Deleted? Quarantined?" Vorgath mocked. "You machines and arrogant light bulbs are all cowards. I will go to this new Universal Empire. I will crush this Prime Dominator between my hands. I will drink the marrow from his bones and use his dark matter to fuel my eternal forges."

Xal Teth glided forward, her thousands of eyes blinking in synchronized hunger.

"You are too crude, Vorgath," the Abyssal Matriarch hissed. "This Neo possesses the scent of the true void. He is delicious. I felt the shockwave of his creation. It was a flavor of chaos I have never tasted. I will wrap him in my embrace. I will slowly digest his soul over the span of a million years. His empire belongs to the Weeping Voids."

Yvraine remained silent for a moment. The prismatic colors of her body shifted into a dark, ominous purple.

"You all underestimate the severity of the situation," Yvraine whispered, her voice echoing from everywhere at once. "He did not just conquer a realm. He rewrote its foundational concepts. He absorbed the narrative weight of a world and fused it with the brutal progression logic of his own. He is playing with the building blocks of reality. If left unchecked, he will rewrite us."

Before the rulers could continue their debate, a blinding flash of golden light interrupted them. A dimensional portal tore open, and a figure violently tumbled out onto the conceptual floor.

It was Lord Exon.

The Prime Emissary of the Celestial Court hit the floor and rolled, screaming in absolute terror. His pristine golden armor was cracked and dull. His eyes, once burning pools of liquid gold, were wide with lingering horror. He crawled on his hands and knees, desperately scrambling toward Aurelius Sunbreaker.

"My Sovereign!" Exon cried out, his voice cracking. He pressed his face against the floor, trembling violently.

Aurelius looked down at his emissary with deep disgust. The Golden Sovereign despised weakness above all things.

"Stand up, Exon," Aurelius commanded. "You represent the Celestial Court. Where is the rest of your delegation? Why are you groveling like a mortal peasant?"

Exon slowly raised his head. Tears of pure liquid light streamed down his glowing cheeks.

"They are gone. He did not even kill them. He simply looked at them, and their minds shattered," Exon stammered. "I delivered your ultimatum. I commanded him to surrender. I threatened him with the fury of the Celestial Armada."

Vorgath sneered, crossing his massive arms over his magma chest.

"And the little anomaly sent you running back with your tail between your legs," the Tyrant rumbled. "Pathetic."

Exon shook his head violently. He reached a trembling hand upward, his fingers grasping at empty air as if reliving a waking nightmare.

"You do not understand," Exon whispered, his voice incredibly hollow. "He is not an anomaly. He is a monster. He is a walking cataclysm. When I threatened him, he did not draw a weapon. He created a galaxy."

The summit fell completely silent. Even the grinding, infinite gears of Mechanis Zero paused their eternal rotation.

"Repeat your statement, Emissary," Mechanis Zero buzzed. "Creation of a functional macro structure from absolute zero requires infinite energy. It is logically impossible."

"He did it in the palm of his hand," Exon wept. "He created a miniature universe. Billions of stars. Planets. Physics. He birthed it from his own soul. And then, while I watched, he crushed it into nothingness just to prove a point. He told me to tell you to gather your armies. He is coming for the Celestial Court. He said he will crush our thousand universes just like he crushed that galaxy."

Aurelius Sunbreaker tightened his grip on his golden scepter. The light radiating from his body turned a violent, blood red hue. The sheer arrogance of this Prime Dominator was a direct insult to everything the Golden Sovereign represented.

"He dares to mock the eternal order," Aurelius hissed. "He creates a parlor trick and believes he is the Master of the Cosmos."

Yvraine stepped forward, her prismatic form swirling rapidly.

"It was no parlor trick, Aurelius," Yvraine said. "I can taste the conceptual residue clinging to your emissary. The galaxy was real. The destruction was real. This Neo possesses the authority of true Genesis and true Terminus."

Vorgath cracked his knuckles, a terrifying smile spreading across his magma face.

"Finally," Vorgath roared. "A worthy opponent. I am going to tear his arms off."

Xal Teth laughed, a sound like glass grinding against jagged stone.

"We cannot hunt him individually," the Abyssal Matriarch stated. "His Universal Empire is heavily fortified. He commands a Vanguard of assimilated horrors. If we attack one by one, we risk giving him the time he needs to consume our forces and grow even stronger."

Aurelius Sunbreaker looked at the other rulers. They were natural enemies. They had spent billions of years plotting against one another, fighting endless proxy wars across infinite dimensions. But the emergence of the Prime Dominator presented a threat that superseded their ancient rivalries.

"A temporary alliance," Aurelius proposed, extending his glowing hand toward the center of the circle. "We need to combine our forces. The Celestial Armada, the Fractal Engines, the Abyssal Swarm, the Blood Legions, and the Dreamscape Phantoms. We surround his Universal Empire. We strike simultaneously from all dimensional angles. We wipe him from the tapestry of existence, and then we divide his conquered territories amongst ourselves."

Mechanis Zero resumed its spinning.

"Alliance calculated. Probability of victory increased by nine thousand percent. The Fractal Engines accept the temporary truce."

"The Blood Legions are always ready for a slaughter," Vorgath agreed, slamming his massive fist into his chest.

"The Weeping Voids will join the feast," Xal Teth hissed, her thousands of eyes narrowing with anticipation.

Yvraine simply nodded, her colors fading to a cold, predatory silver.

The five multiversal rulers sealed their pact.
