Building an Eternal Dynasty: The Eternal Legacy System
Chapter 138: The Heavenly Secret Realm Opens
The Heavenly Secret Realm Opens
The Stellar Sovereign Realm was a transformation of spiritual power.
True spiritual power condensed into stars.
Those stars gathered together to form a star sea.
But that was only the beginning.
After reaching this level, a cultivator needed to comprehend the Great Laws of World.
Fragments of law would gradually condense upon every star.
When enough law fragments gathered together, the entire star sea would undergo another transformation.
It would become a moon.
When the fragments of law fused completely within that moon, one would step into the Lunar Sovereign Realm.
The Azure Sovereign Kingdom’s old ancestor had already reached the threshold.
His star sea had begun manifesting the power of law.
He was a terrifying existence standing on the edge of transformation.
If he successfully transformed his star sea into a moon and completely mastered even one law...
Then he could invoke the law of ice with a single thought.
He could freeze the entire Dawn Empire.
Millions of lives could perish beneath his power.
The older generation had always known that the Azure Sovereign Kingdom was formidable.
But none of them had expected the kingdom to possess an existence this terrifying.
Derek’s expression became heavy.
If they lost the Empire title war...
And the Azure Sovereign Kingdom truly launched its invasion...
The Dawn Empire would face annihilation.
There was no exaggeration in that statement.
They had already begun thinking about the worst possible outcome.
But then Derek’s gaze shifted toward the light screen.
A faint thought surfaced in his mind.
At least...
The Salvatore family’s prodigies were participating in this inheritance Heavenly Secret Realm.
Those monsters were beyond common sense.
The Azure Sovereign Kingdom might possess terrifying forces.
But the Salvatore family had already revealed three monsters capable of stepping into the Astral Manifestation Realm before the age of twenty.
That gave Derek a sliver of confidence.
At least, there was still hope.
"Hmph."
The Azure Sovereign Kingdom’s elder let out another cold laugh.
His aura gradually withdrew.
"I know what you’re all thinking..."
The other elders remained silent.
The old man looked at them with a mocking expression.
"Three Astral Manifestation prodigies under twenty—yes, that’s impressive."
His lips curled upward.
"But..."
His eyes swept across the room.
"Do you truly think the Azure Sovereign Kingdom has no trump cards of its own?"
The final word landed heavily.
The old man withdrew his pressure completely.
His expression became arrogant once more.
This Empire title war...
They had prepared far more than one backup plan.
Derek’s heart sank.
The same was true for the other Stellar Sovereign experts.
Their confidence in the Salvatore family’s younger generation remained.
But the Azure Sovereign Kingdom’s confidence was clearly not baseless.
Before anyone could speak—
BOOM—RUMBLE!!
A massive explosion suddenly echoed from the light screen.
Every head in the pavilion turned.
The scene displayed through the secret art had changed.
On Red Cliff Mountain, the ethereal phantom of the Heavenly Secret Realm was gradually becoming solid.
The once-illusory structure was no longer a projection.
Space itself was beginning to stabilize.
Then...
A gate slowly materialized.
At first, it was nothing more than a faint outline.
Then the outline became real.
A massive purple door emerged between heaven and earth.
Its surface was covered with intricate arcane patterns.
The patterns seemed to contain countless mysteries.
Just looking at them caused the mind to grow heavy.
Some of the weaker prodigies staggered backward.
Yet those capable of enduring the pressure discovered something strange.
Their souls were slowly becoming stronger.
The mysterious patterns were tempering their spiritual consciousness.
Then someone shouted.
"The inheritance Heavenly Secret Realm... has opened!"
Another voice immediately followed.
"GO!!"
"The Heavenly Secret Realm has manifested—let’s see who claims its treasures first!!"
The atmosphere exploded.
All hesitation vanished.
Countless young prodigies surged forward.
Some moved like lightning.
Others activated their secret techniques.
A few didn’t even bother looking at their companions as they rushed toward the purple gate.
Inside the Heavenly Secret Realm lay countless treasures.
Boundless resources.
Ancient inheritances.
Possibilities that could change a person’s entire destiny.
The humiliation of Lucas Bluestone was forgotten almost instantly.
Fortune was in front of them.
No one was willing to give it up.
Among the crowd, Austin Salvatore, Damien Salvatore, and Nux exchanged a glance.
They didn’t say a word.
They didn’t need to.
The Patriarch’s command was absolute.
Nothing was more important.
The three turned simultaneously.
Then they stepped into the purple gate.
Their figures vanished into the swirling darkness beyond.
Only after Nux had completely disappeared did Lucas Bluestone and his brothers finally dare to breathe.
"Huff..."
"Huff..."
"Huff..."
They gasped greedily.
Cold sweat drenched their bodies.
Their legs felt weak.
For several breaths, none of them could speak.
They looked like drowning men who had finally been dragged back onto solid ground.
As royalty, they had been pampered from childhood.
They had always lived surrounded by servants.
They had always possessed treasures.
They had always been respected.
They had never truly understood what death felt like.
Now they did.
The sensation still clung to their skin.
That cold youth had stood behind them like an executioner.
One wrong word.
One wrong glance.
One careless movement.
And they would have been swallowed by that boundless sea of blood.
"Fourth Brother!"
The Fifth and Seventh Princes were the first to recover.
They hurried toward Lucas.
They grabbed his arms and helped his battered body stand.
Lucas’s breathing was ragged.
His face was twisted with pain.
But beneath that pain was something far uglier.
Hatred.
"Go!"
His voice shook.
"Into the Heavenly Secret Realm!!"
The Fifth Prince hesitated.
Lucas suddenly grabbed his robe.
"I want him dead!!"
His remaining eye burned with fury.
"I want his life!! How dare he—how dare he do this to me!!"
His voice cracked.
The pain had driven him dangerously close to madness.
He reached beneath his robes.
His fingers closed around something hidden there.
Whatever it was, his grip tightened around it as though he were holding onto his final source of hope.
"I’ll make him regret ever being born!!"
His eyes burned with venomous hatred.
The Fifth and Seventh Princes shivered.
They had never seen their brother like this.
But they didn’t argue.
They supported Lucas from either side and rushed toward the purple gate.
Then all three disappeared into the Heavenly Secret Realm.
