Building an Eternal Dynasty: The Eternal Legacy System
Chapter 136: The Salvatore Family’s Monsters
The Salvatore Family’s Monsters
"Fourth Brother!"
The Fifth and Seventh Princes reacted instantly.
They tried to rush toward him.
But they stopped.
Not because they suddenly regained their senses.
Because something ancient had locked onto them.
A killing intent as terrifying as a primordial beast had opened its eyes.
Their bodies froze.
Their muscles tightened.
One wrong movement...
And they would die.
The young man slowly lifted his blade.
His crimson eyes were cold.
"The Salvatore Family, Blood Slayer Nux..."
His voice was quiet.
But every syllable carried through the mountain.
"To speak ill of the Salvatore Family is a crime."
He paused.
Lucas’s blood continued dripping onto the stone.
"For your first offense, this is a minor punishment."
Nux’s gaze slowly moved toward the other two princes.
"If there is a next time..."
The temperature seemed to drop.
"Your entire clan will be annihilated!!"
The words were not shouted.
They didn’t need to be.
They spread across Red Cliff Mountain with the coldness of an abyss.
Lucas’s agonized screams continued echoing.
Every cultivator present felt a chill crawl down their spine.
No one spoke.
No one dared to.
The scene before them had completely overturned their understanding of the Salvatore Family.
One cultivator swallowed hard.
"Is this what a newly risen family can produce?!"
Another stared blankly at Austin.
Then Damien.
Then Nux.
"Are you sure these aren’t freaks from a sacred land, from an immortal dynasty, from an ancient lineage?!"
A third cultivator clenched his fists.
"If such monsters are entering the inheritance grotto with us... then what’s the point of even trying?!"
Their gazes met.
No one laughed.
No one argued.
A cold dread settled over their hearts.
The Heavenly Secret Realm expedition had not even begun.
Yet many had already reached the same conclusion.
This wasn’t their stage anymore.
The Salvatore Family’s prodigies had arrived.
And they had silenced the heavens and earth.
Outside Red Cliff Mountain, atop a towering pavilion overlooking the distant peaks, the most powerful figures of the Dawn Empire had gathered.
The Heavenly Secret Realm was about to open.
Because no one over the age of twenty could enter, these great figures had no choice but to remain outside.
They could only observe the battlefield from afar through secret arts.
The pavilion itself was ancient.
Its walls were engraved with countless mysterious formations, each one designed to project distant scenes through the Great Laws of World.
At the head of the pavilion sat Derek Dawn, ruler of the Dawn Empire.
Beside him sat the empire’s few Stellar Sovereign experts.
Only beings of such stature were qualified to enter this Star-Gazing Pavilion and observe the Heavenly Secret Realm expedition through secret arts.
This battle was not merely about inheritance.
It was not merely about resources.
It concerned the fate of two great powers.
It concerned the lives of millions.
Yet strangely—
None of these great figures appeared tense.
They sat calmly.
Some drank tea.
Others watched silently.
A few exchanged quiet glances.
And as the scenes unfolding upon Red Cliff Mountain appeared before them, strange expressions slowly emerged across their faces.
Some looked stunned.
Others looked amused.
A few desperately tried to suppress smiles.
It was the peculiar expression of someone who had just witnessed something so absurd that laughing would almost be disrespectful.
Derek Dawn stroked his beard and stared at the projected scene.
Then he spoke with an unusually serious expression.
"I never imagined our Dawn Empire still held such prodigies!!"
His voice carried genuine pride.
"They are not inferior to the geniuses of those supreme sacred lands or ancient hidden clans!!"
His expression remained solemn.
As though he had known this all along.
But inside his heart—
Waves of shock were crashing against one another.
Through Adrian Valerius, Derek already knew that the Salvatore Family was mysterious.
Unfathomable.
The depth of its Patriarch, Victor Salvatore, was something Adrian had never been able to see through.
But knowing that was one thing.
Witnessing it with his own eyes was another.
Before the age of twenty...
Entering the Astral Manifestation Realm.
That alone was enough to be called an unprecedented prodigy.
But the Salvatore Family had not produced one.
It had produced three.
And each one was terrifying in a completely different way.
One commanded the power of fire spirits.
Austin Salvatore stood amid countless burning lotuses like a young Flame King descended upon the mortal world.
One was a Sword Intent master who had grasped the Sword Principle at such a tender age.
Damien Salvatore’s Sword Intent had been cold enough to make even seasoned cultivators instinctively fear him.
And then there was the third.
Nux.
That monstrous killer.
The killing intent surrounding him was so terrifying that even the empire’s veteran experts felt a faint pressure when observing him through the projection.
It rivaled their own.
Perhaps...
It even surpassed it.
Derek’s fingers slowly tightened around the armrest.
He stared at the three young figures standing upon Red Cliff Mountain.
For a long moment, he said nothing.
It was hard to imagine what kind of family could nurture such world-shaking figures.
Author’s Note:
Well, brothers and sisters, the Heavenly Secret Realm has officially begun to heat up.
The Azure Sovereign Kingdom came prepared, confident that its prodigies could dominate the younger generation of the Dawn Empire.
Then the Salvatore Family arrived.
Austin.
Damien.
Nux.
And judging by their entrances...
This is only the beginning.
The real monsters haven’t even shown everything they can do yet.
So stay with me, because the Heavenly Secret Realm is about to become very, very interesting.
