Building an Eternal Dynasty: The Eternal Legacy System
Chapter 130: Preparations Before the Heavenly Secret Realm (Part 4)
Preparations Before the Heavenly Secret Realm (Part 4)
Deep beneath the secluded hill...
Inside the heavily fortified wooden cabin...
The puppet standing in Victor’s place slowly lowered its head.
Far below...
Within the hidden underground chamber...
The real Leandro Salvatore sat quietly before his workbench.
His long black hair had fallen loosely over his forehead.
A few strands partially concealed his calm green eyes.
At first glance...
He looked almost bored.
His expression was dull.
His posture was relaxed.
There was nothing particularly threatening about him.
But that appearance was misleading.
Behind those seemingly ordinary eyes...
His mind was moving at an absurd speed.
One possibility after another appeared.
Then vanished.
Hundreds of different scenarios unfolded inside his head within moments.
Each possibility branched into another.
Each outcome created several more.
It was almost as if countless minds were thinking at the same time.
Leandro rested his chin against one hand.
His fingers lightly pressed against his cheek.
Then...
He began his familiar habit.
"First scenario..."
His voice was calm.
Almost casual.
"The Patriarch intends to lure me into the Heavenly Secret Realm."
He paused.
His green eyes narrowed slightly.
"And eliminate me once I’m inside."
Silence.
He considered it for several seconds.
Then...
He shook his head.
"Rejected."
His expression became faintly displeased.
"Am I an idiot?"
He stared at the empty space in front of him.
"What kind of ridiculous conclusion is that?"
His brows tightened.
"The Patriarch personally bestowed cultivation scriptures upon me."
"He entrusted me with resources."
"He named me one of the First Rank of the Salvatore Family."
Leandro paused.
His expression became even more serious.
"And he has never shown the slightest intention of harming me."
He nodded once.
"Therefore..."
"I should never entertain such absurd thoughts again."
He seemed completely satisfied with his own conclusion.
Then...
"Second scenario."
His expression changed immediately.
"The disciples of other sects join forces."
"Then they ambush me inside the Heavenly Secret Realm."
He leaned back slightly.
His fingers began tapping against the wooden table.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
His eyes remained calm.
"No matter."
He spoke as though the problem were already solved.
"This time..."
"I’ll send my strongest clone."
His fingers stopped.
"And prepare one hundred decoys."
He went silent.
A faint crease appeared between his brows.
"...No."
He slowly shook his head.
"One hundred isn’t enough."
His expression became thoughtful.
"Three hundred."
"Three hundred decoys should be safer."
He nodded.
That decision apparently made perfect sense to him.
Then he continued.
"Third scenario."
His eyes became slightly sharper.
"The Heavenly Secret Realm itself is fake."
His voice lowered.
"It isn’t an opportunity at all."
"It is a trap."
"A trap designed to eliminate the younger generation of every major force."
He fell silent.
For several breaths...
The underground chamber remained completely still.
Leandro’s eyes shifted slightly.
Another possibility surfaced.
Then another.
Then another.
His mind continued working.
"Fourth scenario..."
A pause.
"Fifth scenario..."
Another pause.
"Sixth scenario..."
The numbers continued rising.
The quiet chamber slowly became filled with his calm voice.
"Tenth scenario..."
His fingers tapped against the table again.
"Twenty-seventh scenario..."
His expression remained perfectly serious.
"Forty-first scenario..."
His eyes narrowed.
"Seventy-second scenario..."
By then...
Even his breathing had become slower.
His thoughts were still racing.
One possibility after another.
Every possible betrayal.
Every hidden trap.
Every unexpected variable.
Every ridiculous outcome his mind could construct.
Nothing was ignored.
Nothing was dismissed without consideration.
Finally...
His voice stopped.
The chamber returned to silence.
For several moments...
Leandro simply sat there.
Then...
His green eyes slowly lifted.
"Ninety-ninth scenario."
His voice was quiet.
Almost solemn.
He stared ahead.
A faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"I travel to Red Cliff Mountain immediately."
"I use the Sky-Piercing Curse."
"I secretly enter the Heavenly Secret Realm before it officially opens."
He looked toward a small jade box resting in the corner of the room.
Inside...
There was a single ancient talisman.
His greatest trump card.
"And..."
His gaze fell upon it.
"This Sky-Piercing Curse..."
"...is the only one I have."
Reluctance flickered across his eyes.
If he used it now, one of his most precious life-saving treasures would be gone.
He fell silent.
His mind ran through the calculations once more.
"The chances of obtaining the greatest inheritance..."
"Ninety-eight percent."
His brow tightened.
"...Not high enough."
Silence returned.
He remained still for a long while.
Then...
Slowly, he nodded.
"But..."
"It’s worth the risk."
Having reached his conclusion...
Leandro wasted no more time.
He immediately stood.
Outside...
Night had quietly descended over Sovereign Blessed Land.
Moonlight bathed the mountains in silver, while a cool breeze drifted gently through the forests.
The hidden cabin remained completely silent.
Then...
Without the slightest disturbance...
Two identical figures emerged from within.
Both possessed the same black hair.
The same green eyes.
The same ordinary appearance.
Yet their auras couldn’t have been more different.
The first figure looked utterly unremarkable.
His breathing was steady.
His spiritual fluctuations were almost nonexistent.
If he walked through a crowded city...
No one would spare him a second glance.
He was so ordinary that people would forget his face the moment they looked away.
The second figure...
Was the complete opposite.
He made absolutely no effort to conceal himself.
His overwhelming True Spiritual Power erupted into the night sky like a volcanic eruption.
The surrounding air trembled violently.
The clouds overhead scattered.
Every step he took caused the wind to roar around him.
He walked through the heavens with boundless confidence, as though the world itself welcomed his arrival.
His cultivation...
Had already reached the Heavenly Genesis Realm.
Without another word...
The two identical figures shot into the night.
One disappeared silently into the darkness.
The other advanced openly toward Red Cliff Mountain, attracting attention wherever he passed.
To anyone watching...
It was impossible to know...
Which one was the real Leandro Salvatore.
