Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game
Chapter 1014 - 526: One by One, Have More Fun
He remained silent, his handsome face exuding a chilling sternness that pierced the soul, "You may leave now." His thin, cool lips emitted a thread of coldness as he issued an icy order to leave. That voice lingered low in the vast office, like a haunting spell, eerily bringing a chill. Such words, like a tsunami capable of destroying everything, overwhelmed her with an overwhelming momentum, the person standing there radiating an aura of royalty, making one look up to him. Such a son should make her proud, yet she couldn’t feel happy; they were too far apart.
Julian Carter came in just as Grace Roe, looking ashen, walked out. She seemed to have indeed aged several years; even her always proudly straight back was slightly hunched, no longer resembling the so-called most noble lady in this city.
"Found him." Julian Carter stood behind Joshua Hughes. When this man got angry, even the air started to thin, making every breath feel precious.
If Joshua Hughes wanted someone found, even if they changed their appearance, though it might be somewhat difficult, they could always be found. Today promised to be a bloody day.
"Where?" After a long time, Joshua Hughes turned around, his deep, hoarse voice chillingly cold.
"Far away in the heavens, right in front of our eyes. Right in your home." No wonder they searched for so long without finding him; he’d hidden in the least suspected place—who would have thought Victoria Diaz had changed her identity and hidden at Hughes Manor?
Spring nights were supposed to be beautiful, but tonight they were exceptionally hideous, the air filled with intense panting and a scent of extreme terror. A beautiful woman stumbled into an alley, but those following her blocked the alley from the corner, casting shadows under the streetlight. They split into two rows, in the middle stood a refined yet stern man, head lowered, with a cigarette in his mouth, the whole figure like a demon drenched in black blood.
"Victoria Diaz?" His voice carried brutality and an icy coldness, with a hint of bloodlust, magnetic and full of tension as ever, yet it made her shiver all over......
Driven into a corner, she was panting, trembling slightly, her big eyes filled with suppressed terror.
"I, I don’t know what you’re talking about? I’m not Victoria Diaz......" Her back was against a cold wall, with no way out, her breathing becoming heavier. Now she fully understood why she could escape after being captured and locked in a warehouse; he was toying with her, wanting to play her to death, giving her hope of escape only to quash it with his own hands. Such a man is so cold-blooded and terrifying.
The man raised his eyes, looking at the woman in front of him, indeed changed beyond recognition. He laughed coldly; this was truly unexpected for him.
The woman stifled her inner fear, her lips trembling, "What do you want to do?"
The man in black smiled more deeply, "Do we know each other? Let me be direct, why are you doing this? Tell me, who else is behind you? Who helped you? Tell me, and I might consider sparing you."
There was no way she would be spared. Victoria Diaz’s body slid hopelessly down the wall, sitting on the floor, while the man in front of her looked down from a height, clarity and coldness in his eyes with a light flowing in them, a vivid hatred and anger capable of devouring people.
"You don’t want to speak?" Joshua Hughes sighed lowly, moving closer, squatting in front of her, coldness radiating from between his brows. "I know even if you don’t say it, that old guy Conny Hughes is so old, can he still satisfy you? To the point that you’re willing to risk your life for him to touch my Achilles’ heel?" The woman’s eyes suddenly widened, strong fear surging wave after wave like a sea tide in her heart.
"Joshua, I just like you, I did all this for you......" The woman sitting on the ground urgently tried to grab Joshua Hughes’ clothes, but the moment her wrist lifted, it was tightly grasped. A cold light flashed in Joshua Hughes’ eyes, followed by a heart-wrenching scream, her slender wrist held by the man’s large hand, bent backward almost to a blunt angle, she could almost hear the sound of bones breaking......
