But he quickly calmed down, as he didn’t think trading it for a chance of survival was a loss.

The dragon rider smiled and then looked back, glancing at Max as he seemed to be trying to show off that he had just dealt with the terrifying Lady of Salvation; even if it was mere projection, it was still a massive feat to brag about.

Max also understood what he was trying to show from his expression, but he felt this wasn’t the end.

And just as he thought that—crack.

A crack suddenly appeared across the crimson sphere. The dragon rider’s smile froze.

More cracks rapidly spread across the surface. His expression immediately changed. He quickly turned around.

The crimson sphere shattered.

A massive explosion erupted, shaking the entire city.

The shockwave swept across dozens of meters, completely destroying the surrounding buildings and leaving behind a massive crater in the middle of the street. And from the shattered sphere, she came out flying without a hint of any damage.
