Taesan’s POV

I carry my precious treasure into the house while the dogs bark.

I could ask my men to silently dispose of them and Seoha wouldn’t know anything about it, but I don’t want to break his trust.

Trying to be a good man is fucking hard.

I’m not a good person. I don’t think of flowers, love and reconciliation. I think of murder and bloodshed.

Junho needs to make their life hell. Beating the men up and roughing the woman up isn’t enough for me. I need to see an obituary.

"What are you thinking about?" Seoha asks in that sweet voice and I draw a sharp breath.

Fuck.

I’m on my honeymoon.

"Puppies" I lie and place him in my nest.

"Puppies? You like dogs too?" he asks cutely and I shudder. No, I don’t like dogs, and I especially don’t like that Seoha likes dogs.

"Are you hungry?" I ask the irrelevant question to distract him and he shakes his head.

"You just gave me food. Are you trying to fatten me?" he asks with round eyes and I chuckle at how cute he is.

"You need to eat as much as you can, baby. Our sons need all the food" I say and dip my head to kiss his swollen belly.

At what stage will my boys start to kick? Can they already hear my voice? Can I start to teach them how to fight?

Seoha slides his fingers into my hair and I groan softly, kissing his stomach again with adoration. The house is quiet and noises from his ex-family members have subsided, maybe my men have taken them away.

"I never got to ask about Hanbin...is my big brother okay?" Seoha asks and I nod, running my hands over his hips just for the feel of his body.

"He was taken to the hospital by the Deus. We can visit him soon if you want" I say.

Junho told me Hanbin plans to move away to a different place. His time with his father was traumatic and he doesn’t want to stay here anymore, but I won’t tell Seoha yet.

My omega needs some peace in his mind and his life.

"And Yechan? I never asked what happened to him" Seoha says and I hum.

Again, for the hundredth time in my life, I’m glad I listened to Junho’s logicality.

"The Gods dealt with him. You don’t have to worry about him anymore, treasure. You’re safe" I say.

"It’s weird...winning is weird" he murmurs and I hum, still kneading his hips. He’s so beautiful in every way. Why would I worship a goddess who never did any good to me when I can serve this omega?

"You never told me about Minju-ssi" I tell him and he freezes under me, surprised at the mention of his mother’s name.

"How do you know about her?" he asks.

"I met her. She approached me and helped us catch Yechan" I say to him and he nods, avoiding my eyes out of guilt.

"I’m not mad at you, baby" I mutter.

"I just needed to tell you I saw her. I don’t want anything standing between us and our lives now" I say and he nods twice.

"I’m sorry. It was not my intention to hide that from you but...I don’t want anything to do with her too. She could be a pretender" my omega worries his bottom lip with his front teeth.

"Do you want me to look into it?" I ask.

"No, let it be" Seoha says and sighs. His fingers play with my earlobe and he sighs again.

"What’s on your mind, little thief?" I ask, nosing at his neck while keeping my weight on my arms.

"What about Jaemin? I didn’t get to see what happened with him..." he trails off.

"He’s dead. Yechan killed him" I tell my omega bluntly and he looks shocked but he doesn’t ask any other questions.

"Do you want to go on a walk?" I ask and he sighs softly. "Can we just stay here?" he asks me in a small voice and I chuckle.

My shy little deer.

"We can do anything you want, I promise."

"Can you teach me how to design like you? We can start working on new designs for Mountain Atelier rebuild" my smart omega says excitedly and I pull away from him.

He’s unreal.

Jaemin never cared about my business, never worried about my designs, and never asked about Mountain Atelier’s well-being.

"We can design. I’ll search for papers and pen" I say and get up to look for them.

Seoha yawns and snuggles into the nest comfortably while I look around the house. It takes some time, but I finally find a pack of pencils and some papers.

When I return to the nest, Seoha is humming an unfamiliar song.

He looks up, gives me a close-lipped smile, and I imagine what he’d look like when he’s older.

My omega will be so fucking beautiful. I’ll keep him as Mountain Atelier brand ambassador as long as possible. I’ll even beg him to model forever if I have to.

This face deserves to be seen by the world and touched only by me.

"Do you think I’ll be attractive when I’m older?" I ask as I settle into the nest and Seoha looks at me with pursed lip.

"But...you’re already old" he says innocently and I drop the papers and pencils.

"What?" I ask.

"You’re older than me and you’re very attractive" he says, but it’s too late. I grab him by his leg and pull him to myself, tickling his side in revenge.

"I am not old" I growl and he laughs helplessly.

"Wait! It’s a cool thing!" he squeals, trying to get away from me and my fingers, but I don’t stop tickling him.

"I am old?" I ask.

"No! It’s a compliment. I’m going to pee!" he gasps through his laughter and I let go of him. Laughing to myself as he bolts out of the room and heads for the bathroom.

Cute.
