Chapter 48: Chapter 48: Your Sugar Daddy Is Hot

~Reynold’s POV~

We have a different agreement concerning you, but I wasn’t doing what she wanted, so that’s why she acted that way."

"What agreement?" I asked, completely confused.

"It’s really nothing, Reynold. For now, let’s just stick to the five years. Anything else can come after that," he said calmly, meeting my gaze.

I nodded slowly. "Alright. But I still want to know what you two talk about when it comes to me."

Frederick gave me a faint smile. "You’ll know when the time is right, okay?"

I hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright. That’s fine."

"And again..." Frederick paused, his expression softening. "I’m really sorry for earlier. I shouldn’t have called you a nobody."

A tiny, relieved smile finally broke through my tension. "It’s fine. Just eat your food."

Frederick lowered his gaze to the food and murmured, "It’s fine, but do you seriously not care about me at all?"

I looked at him, blinking in surprise. "You told me from the beginning not to have any affection for you."

"I said not to catch feelings," Frederick corrected, his voice dropping low. "I didn’t say you couldn’t care about me."

I crossed my arms defensively, throwing his own rules back at him. "I’m only following your rules. I don’t care about you."

A dangerous, narrowed look flashed across his eyes. "Alright."

He picked up his fork and continued eating. After a few bites, he suddenly coughed, bringing a hand to his mouth.

"What’s wrong?" I asked immediately, leaning forward.

He didn’t answer. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to swallow, but a second later, he began coughing harder, struggling to catch his breath.

Panic shot through me. Without thinking, I grabbed the bottle of water from the desk, jumped to my feet, and hurried around to his side, struggling to twist the cap open.

"Here, drink some water—hurry!" I stammered, holding the bottle out to him.

But Frederick kept coughing, his shoulders shaking as he struggled to catch his breath.

"What’s wrong?" I asked, my voice trembling with panic.

He tried to tell me he was fine, but he couldn’t get the words out.

"Frederick... Mr. Corvin, what’s wrong? Just drink some water."

He reached for the bottle, but his hand dropped before he could take it. I quickly brought it to his lips myself, trying to help him drink from it, but he couldn’t seem to swallow anything.

Panic surged through me.

The sight of him struggling shattered whatever composure I had left. Hot tears spilled from my eyes and rolled down my cheeks.

"What’s wrong with you? Drink the water!"

Still panicking, I turned toward the office door, desperate to call his secretary for help.

I had barely taken two steps when a strong hand shot out and caught my wrist, yanking me backward.

I stumbled straight into his lap, gasping in shock. I immediately turned to look at him.

Frederick stopped coughing instantly. A smug, infuriatingly calm smirk spread across his face as he looked up at me.

"I thought you said you didn’t care," he murmured, his intense eyes glinting with amusement.

I stared at him, the tears still hot on my cheeks, and suddenly realized the whole thing had been an act.

"You’re impossible!" I yelled, hitting his chest with my fists as anger and relief crashed over me. "Stop it! That wasn’t funny!"

Before I could pull away, Frederick wrapped his arms securely around my waist, holding me firmly against him. A low, deep laugh rumbled through his chest as he buried his face against my shoulder.

"I was only joking with you," he whispered against my skin, holding me tight.

I shifted, turning to sit fully on his lap. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck and buried my face against his shoulder.

"It’s not funny. Don’t ever do that again."

Frederick chuckled against my collarbone, the soft vibration of his laughter teasing me. Then, mimicking my high-pitched, panicked voice from moments ago, he said, "Oh, Mr. Corvin... Frederick... please drink some water!"

I gave his shoulder a sharp swat. "Stop it."

"Alright, alright," he murmured, his tone softening. "Let me finish my food and wrap up the last of my work, and then we can head home."

"Do whatever you like," I muttered stubbornly, resting my chin on his chest. "I’m not standing up anyway."

"I never said you should," he replied smoothly.

A small smile touched my lips as he took a few more bites and finished his meal. Afterward, he set the container aside and turned back to his laptop, typing away while I remained comfortably settled on his lap, my arms still looped around his neck.

I stayed right there, watching him work until he finally closed his laptop for the day. Not long after, his driver took us back to the estate.

When we walked through the front doors of the mansion, Frederick’s head housekeeper immediately came forward to welcome him.

"Welcome home, sir," she greeted respectfully.

She then gave me a polite nod before stepping aside.

Frederick glanced around the foyer. "Is Lily back home?" he asked.

The housekeeper nodded. "Yes, sir. She returned a while ago. She’s up in her room."

"Alright," Frederick said, giving her a brief wave to dismiss her.

The housekeeper nodded and stepped away.

Frederick led me upstairs to his master bedroom. Once we stepped inside, I settled onto the edge of the bed while Frederick looked toward the door.

"Wait here. I’ll go check on Lily. I’ll be back soon."

"Alright," I whispered.

Frederick left the room, and a few minutes later, he returned with a faint smile on his face.

"She’s already asleep," he said with a faint smile. "She must be really exhausted from the trip. She hates being disturbed while she’s sleeping."

"Alright," I whispered.

We both headed into the en-suite bathroom together. As the warm water poured over us in the shower, Frederick’s hands slid over my hips, checking me over. He asked if I was feeling sore anywhere down my hole, and I admitted there was just a dull, lingering ache, but insisted I would be fine. He washed me gently, taking his time before we both stepped out.

We dried off, and Frederick handed me a pair of his soft, high-end pajamas. We changed into our comfortable cotton sets before climbing into bed. He pulled me against his chest, his large hand resting securely on my waist as we drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, the soft, muffled sound of footsteps moving around the bedroom stirred me awake. I slowly opened my eyes and found Frederick already out of bed.

"Good morning, Mr. Corvin," I mumbled, my voice heavy with sleep.

"Good morning, little pet," he replied, glancing over his shoulder.

I blinked against the morning light and propped myself up on my elbows. "Where are you going?"

"I’m heading down to the gym."

"Are you driving there yourself?" I asked, assuming he was going to a gym outside the estate.

He shook his head. "No. My private gym is right here in the house."

"I’ll come with you," I said immediately, throwing back the covers.

Frederick paused and looked me over, a slight, amused smile tugging at his lips.

"Alright."

He walked into his walk-in closet and returned a moment later with a folded stack of clothes. He tossed them onto the bed, a sleek black athletic set matching the style of his own gym clothes, but in a different color.

"This should fit you."

I grabbed the clothes, hurried into the bathroom to freshen up, and changed. When I stepped back into the bedroom, the stretchy fabric fit comfortably against my frame.

Together, we took the private elevator down to the lower level of the mansion, stepping straight into Frederick’s massive, fully equipped private gym. The space was impressive, with dark wood panels, state-of-the-art equipment, and massive floor-to-ceiling mirrors spanning the walls.

Before touching a single weight, Frederick walked over to the full-length mirror, pulled out his phone, and snapped a quick picture of himself. He turned the screen toward me with a smug grin, showing off his broad shoulders and lean physique.

"Look at this. Your sugar daddy is hot."

I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms with a playful smirk. "Please. I’m a hot cake too."

Frederick threw his head back and laughed, the rich sound echoing through the gym. A second later, however, his expression turned serious, and his intense eyes locked onto mine through the mirror.

"Hot cake only for me."

My chest tightened at the sudden possessiveness in his tone. I stepped closer and wrapped my arms around his waist, looking up at him with a playful smile.

"And you’re hot only for me too."

He smiled and placed his gym towel and water bottle on a nearby bench. "Come here. Take some pictures with me."

We stood side by side in front of the mirror, taking a series of couple mirror shots. Between flashes, Frederick wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer, then turned me toward him and pressed a deep, lingering kiss to my lips just as the camera clicked.

We posed for a few more pictures, laughing and messing around, until the sharp, intrusive ringtone of his phone suddenly shattered the moment.

Frederick glanced down at the screen.

Eva was calling him again.

Without hesitation, Frederick pressed the side button to silence the call, placed the phone face down on the bench, and turned his attention back to me.

"Come on," he murmured. "Let’s work out."

I flashed him a cheeky grin and tilted my head up at him. "Okay, Daddy," I teased, deliberately using the pet name.

Frederick’s eyes flared instantly, darkening with a sudden hunger. He hauled me up against him, lifting my legs to wrap around his waist as he backed me up against the padded surface of a heavy weight bench.

"You like pushing your luck, don’t you?" he rasped against my ear, his voice rough and gravelly. "Tell me, little pet... do you want to get your ass fucked right here, right now?"
