Chapter 64: Chapter 64: The Jealous Husband-to-Be

"I never knew you had this much energy," he chuckled, fingers gently tracing the line of Henry’s spine. "Remind me never to underestimate you again."

Henry rested his forehead against Elisha’s, a bright, breathless laugh slipping past his lips.

"I told you... I used to be shy back then. One round was never enough for me, but I just couldn’t bring myself to say I wanted more. But now that we’re getting married, you might as well get used to it."

"I will gladly get used to it," Elisha murmured, voice low and tender. "I’ll always satisfy you, my champion."

Without pulling apart, he wrapped his arms securely around Henry and drew him flush against his chest. He pressed soft, lingering kisses into Henry’s hair, whispering quiet praises between each one.

"You’re so beautiful, Henry," Elisha murmured, his voice filled with love. "So perfect. Do you have any idea how much I adore you? How long I’ve waited just to hold you like this, knowing you’re mine?"

Henry smiled softly against his chest.

"I feel the same way, baby. I’ve always wanted a moment like this where I could finally be myself around you without holding anything back. And now we’re here."

"I love you so much, my inner peace," Elisha whispered.

Henry lifted his head slightly and smiled at him. "I love you more, my heartbeat."

Elisha’s face lit up. "Finally. You called me that."

Henry chuckled softly. "I told you, I don’t want to be a boring husband. I want to be everything for you."

"And I promise you’ll never regret choosing me as your partner." Elisha leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss to Henry’s shoulder.

Henry melted into the embrace, a quiet sigh of contentment escaping him as he listened to the steady, reassuring beat of Elisha’s heart beneath his ear.

After a long while, Elisha carefully shifted and gently pulled out. He wrapped one arm securely around Henry’s back and the other beneath his thighs, lifting him into his arms. Henry instinctively slipped an arm around Elisha’s neck as Elisha carried him into the private bathroom inside his office suite.

They took a warm shower together, washing up and letting the soothing water relax their tired muscles. Once they were clean, they stepped back into the adjoining room of the suite.

Elisha quickly returned to the main office to collect their discarded clothes from the floor. Before leaving, he grabbed a tissue and cleaned up the evidence of their intimacy, making sure nothing was left behind that might reveal what had happened there.

A few moments later, he returned to the suite with their clothes in his hands and handed Henry his clothes so they could get dressed.

Once they were ready, Elisha picked up his bottle of cologne from the dresser and stepped closer to Henry. He lightly sprayed it over himself and then over Henry, the fresh scent filling the air.

Henry leaned forward with a soft grin and rested his hands against Elisha’s chest. "I’m hungry."

Elisha chuckled and pressed a brief kiss to his forehead. "Come on. Let’s step back into the office. I’ll order something good for you to fill that stomach of yours."

They laughed softly together as they left the suite and returned to Elisha’s spacious office.

Henry settled beside him at the large mahogany desk. Elisha unlocked his phone and slid it across the desk so they could browse the available restaurants and choose something for lunch.

Once they placed the order, Elisha stretched his shoulders and glanced at the stack of documents on his desk.

"While we wait for the food, let me finish up these documents."

Henry looked at the files. "Do you still have a lot of work left?"

"Not much. I just have a few documents left to review and sign," Elisha replied.

"Alright. I’ll help you," Henry offered, already reaching for one of the files.

"No, baby, you don’t have to," Elisha said with a fond smile.

"Please. I want to help," Henry insisted, giving him a pleading look.

"Alright, if you insist." Elisha gave in and slid part of the paperwork toward him.

They settled into a comfortable rhythm, working side by side at the desk. A short while later, a sharp knock sounded at the door.

Sarah tried the handle, but the door didn’t open. Henry glanced at Elisha and started to get up.

"Let me get it," he offered.

"It’s fine. I’ll get it," Elisha replied, already standing.

He walked over, unlocked the door, and opened it. Without saying anything, he turned and walked back toward his desk, with Sarah following behind him with the delivery box.

Once Elisha settled back into his chair, Sarah gave a polite nod to both men.

"Sir, this package just arrived for you," she said respectfully.

"Thank you, Sarah. You can leave it there." Elisha said.

Sarah placed the package on the edge of the desk before excusing herself and leaving the office, closing the door behind her.

Elisha picked up the package and opened it. Inside were two elegant boxes containing their wedding invitation cards, neatly divided into two sets.

Henry’s eyes lit up as he reached toward the boxes, a bright smile spreading across his face. "The moment is actually here."

Before Elisha could respond, his phone buzzed on the desk. He glanced at the screen and saw a message from his mother.

My dear son, one set of the invitation cards is for you, and the other is for my son-in-law. I hope you both love them.

Elisha smiled and quickly typed back.

Thank you, Mom. It’s beautiful. We love it.

Henry leaned closer, looking over the invitation cards with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. "You know... once these invitations start going out tomorrow, the whole city is going to know we’re actually getting married."

"I feel like posting a picture of them right now," Elisha admitted, a mischievous look crossing his face.

Henry laughed and shook his head. "Let’s wait until tomorrow morning, when the media breaks the news about our wedding. Then, once everyone starts talking about it, we can post our own picture and confirm that the news is true."

"You’re right. Let’s do that."

Elisha set his phone down, and they returned their attention to the invitations.

Just then, another knock sounded at the door.

Sarah’s voice came through before she opened it slightly.

"Boss, the food delivery is here."

"Yes, bring it right inside, please," Elisha replied.

A moment later, Sarah opened the door wider and stepped inside carrying the neatly packed food. She walked toward Elisha’s desk and paused.

"Where should I put it, Boss?"

"Over there is fine," Elisha replied, gesturing toward the seating area.

"Alright, Boss."

Sarah carried the food over and set everything down before leaving the office and closing the door behind her.

Elisha glanced at Henry with a warm look before holding out his hand to him. "Come on. Let’s eat."

Henry smiled and took his hand. Their fingers intertwined as they walked over to the seating area.

"Oh, by the way," Henry said, a mischievous smile tugging at his lips. "Raphael will be the first person I send my invitation to tomorrow."

Elisha raised an eyebrow. "Why Raphael?"

"Because he’ll be completely shocked. He probably won’t even believe it at first," Henry said with a quiet laugh as he settled beside him. "And I know he’ll genuinely be happy for us. I want to invite him and his boyfriend too."

Elisha smirked as he opened the food containers. "It’s fine. I guess I don’t have to be jealous of him anymore."

Henry burst out laughing and nudged his shoulder. "So now you’re finally admitting you were jealous of him back then?"

"Yes, I was jealous," Elisha admitted without hesitation, looking directly into Henry’s eyes. "Whenever he got too close to you or took your attention away from me, it drove me crazy. But it doesn’t matter anymore. I already won. You’re mine."

Henry laughed softly, and they began eating. After a few quiet moments, he tilted his head with a mischievous grin.

"You know what? I should invite Jasmine too," Henry said. "Just so she can come over and cry while we celebrate."

Elisha laughed and shook his head. "It sounds fun, but leave her alone, Henry. Jasmine is way too crazy. You might think she’ll come there to cry, but she’ll probably end up causing a scene and ruining everything. I hate her guts. Let’s just leave her out of this."

"Alright, heartbeat," Henry agreed easily, popping a piece of food into his mouth. "Then tomorrow, after the announcement goes out, we’ll go pick out our wedding rings."

"Alright, pretty," Elisha agreed with a tender smile.

Then a thought crossed his mind, and he paused with his fork halfway to his mouth.

"Will you be inviting Eloise?"
