Kang Ian let out a soft laugh.

"I didn’t come here to demand an item. After all, you’re still just an F-rank Craftsman right now."

Kei’s eyes widened in irritation.

"Then why are you here?"

"To see if you’re secretly crying."

Hearing that, Kei’s cheeks flushed bright red, and his glistening eyes, as if holding a thin layer of moisture, stared straight at Kang Ian.

"I’m not crying."

"Yeah, your eyes are just a little red."

Kang Ian chuckled softly, causing Kei to grit his teeth and turn his face away, not wanting to look at that annoying face any longer.

"Even so, you’re still standing here talking to me, which proves you don’t actually find me annoying, right?"

Kang Ian’s confident expression made Kei want to go crazy.

"It’s because I’m being polite."

"Is that so? I thought you were worried about me."

Kei whirled around immediately to shout:

"I already told you! I’m trying to find a way to craft an item for you. But that can’t be done right away. You keep coming to find me, but it won’t make me come up with a solution any faster."

Kang Ian looked at Kei for a moment, the smile on his lips still not fading.

"Once you find a way to cure the insomnia, I’ll leave right away."

"You’re planning to stand here forever?"

Kei looked at Kang Ian in disbelief.

"Perhaps."

Kei looked at Kang Ian’s nonchalant expression, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly. Ahead, the voices of the citizens continued without pause, and beside him, that SS-rank hunter showed no sign of leaving.

Kei could only sigh once more.

Then, Moon So Yeon came running over from who knows where, her hair covered in dust, and what seemed to be a swollen bruise from a punch on her face. Just looking at it made Kei feel pain on her behalf.
