Chapter 70: Ownership of Dong-San City

Moon So Yeon had no idea that an even bigger trouble was about to knock on her door. Right now, she was already facing a different problem.

In the large meeting room at the headquarters of Guild Crying Ghost, facing Moon So Yeon were three men and women with far from ordinary identities.

Vice Guild Master of Guild Zootopia, Grey Wolf Lucas.

Vice Guild Master of Guild Dream Garden, Phantom Kim Woo Jin.

Vice Guild Master of Guild Angel’s Kiss, Magical Girl Irumi.

The moment Moon So Yeon stepped foot into the Guild headquarters, she was summoned straight here. Although they hadn’t said anything yet, she already knew the purpose of this meeting.

Ownership of Dong-San City.

Currently, every SS-rank Guild has its headquarters in an area rated SSS-rank, while also receiving protection over two to three cities rated SS-rank. The strength and resources among the five major Guilds are distributed relatively evenly, and no Guild can casually break that balance.

But Dong-San City is a completely new variable.

Moon So Yeon wasn’t surprised at all. She had already understood this would happen the moment she saw Lucas at the entrance of Thunder’s shop.

"Is that so? But this matter requires approval from the association, and right now the association is leaning toward accepting Guild Crying Ghost’s request."

She smiled gently and stated clearly.

"Guild Crying Ghost already has three SS-rank protection zones." Lucas emphasized each word. "You shouldn’t continue sticking your hands into an area that’s about to have the potential to be promoted to SS-rank like Dong-San."

Moon So Yeon raised an eyebrow.

"Those three zones were all earned by our Guild ourselves."

"No one denies Guild Crying Ghost’s capabilities." Lucas replied calmly. "But the resources of an SS-rank city can sustain an entire major Guild for years. If you take over Dong-San as well, the current distribution will be broken."

"That sounds like you’re worried about Korea’s balance."

Moon So Yeon smiled faintly.

"Or is it that you’re actually just worried Guild Zootopia will suffer a loss? That Lycan King of yours is truly a greedy Lycan!"

Lucas didn’t answer right away. The gray wolf tail behind him swayed slightly, revealing his not-so-pleasant mood.

Irumi immediately slammed her hands on the table.

"Lucas, you talk as if Guild Zootopia’s two SS-rank zones are such tiny places."

The beautiful blonde girl puffed out her cheeks, her pale pink eyes looking at Lucas with discontent.

"Both of those zones are huge, and their resources aren’t any less than Guild Crying Ghost’s three zones. If we’re really talking about fair distribution, Guild Angel’s Kiss is the Guild that needs Dong-San City the most."

Lucas turned his head to look at her with a calm expression.

"Guild Angel’s Kiss already has two protection zones."

"But we always get the short end in SS-rank resource distribution!" Irumi immediately retorted. "Our zones have more civilians, and the Dungeons are harder to manage. The actual resources we obtain can’t compare to how they look on the outside."

"That’s Guild Angel’s Kiss’s management problem. What does it have to do with our Guild Zootopia?"

Lucas shrugged.

"You—!"

Irumi angrily stood up. A faint pink glow immediately flickered around her, as if just one more word,She would transform right on the spot and use blazing love magic to burn Lucas alive.

Moon So Yeon raised a hand to gently rub her temple.

The meeting had barely started five minutes ago and was already on the verge of turning into a battle between two SS-rank Guilds.

Kim Woo Jin had been silent from start to finish.

He sat in a spot near the window, his delicate face devoid of any emotion, his dark eyes quietly fixed on the tabletop. His stillness was even more unsettling than the argument between Lucas and Irumi.

Moon So Yeon looked toward him.

"What about the Dream Garden Guild? I thought that after receiving the new SS-rank protection zone half a year ago, Dream Garden would still be digesting the new resource area?"

Kim Woo Jin slowly raised his head and glanced at Moon So Yeon, his gloomy eyes devoid of any superfluous emotion.

He said softly:

"We didn’t come here to argue."

"Then why did you come?"

Moon So Yeon raised an eyebrow.

"To tell you something."

Kim Woo Jin’s voice was so light it nearly dissolved into the air.

"In my recent dreams, I saw the city of Dong-San engulfed in a sea of fire."

The room immediately fell silent.

Irumi slowly sat down. Lucas also withdrew his dissatisfied expression, and Kim Woo Jin looked at Moon So Yeon, his gaze still as dark as before.

"Not just once. I’ve seen it many times."

The Phantom Kim Woo Jin actually did not possess strong combat abilities; his ability was that of an SS-rank Prophet, often able to foresee disasters, calamities, Dungeon outbreaks, or the appearance of SSS-rank Dungeons far in advance.

That was why Kim Woo Jin was one of the hunters people feared most when he opened his mouth, nothing he said had ever failed to come true.

Moon So Yeon frowned.

"No."

Kim Woo Jin shook his head.
