Bizarre Voyage: Summoning The Fourth Crisis
Chapter 128 103: Can You Perform Demon Summoning While Equipped?
A grayish-black power passed through the armor, enveloping the Magic Pearl and merging directly with it. After the power dissipated, the armor returned to its original state, completely unscathed.
The disaster everyone feared ultimately didn't happen.
This made everyone let out a collective sigh of relief.
If wearing armor blocked the summoning, Demon Summoner players would probably have to play the game shirtless from now on...
"Ah, that's a relief. I'm outta here."
"Gotta go, gotta go."
Once their curiosity was satisfied, the crowd of players scattered, each going their separate way.
After they left, the newbie, Pai Daxun, looked at his character. He was already Level 4 right at the start of the game and even had a Magic Pearl. He was so happy he could have fainted.
'What an amazing start! I've never had one this good!'
"Keep it up. Once you get the hang of your Dodge, you can head over to Exile Island and start farming," Li Miao said with a smile, patting him on the shoulder. He then added him to the group chat before going about his own business.
Pai Daxun took the advice to heart and prepared to practice his fundamentals on the Fish People without using his Magic Pearl.
Just then, another Demon Summoner player arrived, fashionably late. He had been pestering the Candle Guardian Witch with questions for quite a while.
He looked around, then scratched his head in confusion.
'What's going on? Aren't any of these veteran players interested in the new bloodline?'
...
「Time passed.」
Since it was daytime, even with all the hype on the Spirit Candle Forum, the first wave of Demon Summoner players was small—only about ten of them.
'Good thing I anticipated this in my design. Otherwise, the ridiculous situation where you couldn't insert a Magic Pearl while wearing armor might have actually occurred...' Luo Ge thought to himself.
He appeared at the entrance of the Reef Cave and glanced at Noxia, who looked as if she wanted to say something but was hesitating.
"If you have something to say, just say it."
"Mr. Luo Ge..." Noxia took a deep breath, her eyes filled with a mix of hope and pleading. "You possess an unimaginable, wondrous power. It is a symbol of hope."
"Therefore... I implore you, save this world. I am willing to pay any price to see it done."
Noxia bowed solemnly, her voice tinged with excitement.
She had never imagined that Luo Ge possessed the ability to transform an ominous power and bestow it upon his Warriors.
'Such wondrous power... Mr. Luo Ge must be the Master of the Firewood I have been searching for!'
"..." Luo Ge had expected her to bring up the Demon Summoners being an ill omen again. He didn't expect this.
He said nothing, simply extending a hand toward her and gesturing for her to follow him to the Qi Xin Chapel.
A short while later, the two of them were in the Qi Xin Chapel.
"Noxia, your intentions are good," Luo Ge said, looking at her quietly. "But the truth is, my Warriors and I do not belong to this world."
As he spoke, he held out his hand. With a mere thought, it melted into flowing Wax Oil before reforming as good as new.
"We are not the kind of living beings you remember."
At this, Luo Ge broke off a piece of the wall. The wall repaired itself instantly, and the fragment in his hand vanished without a trace.
"If all the shattered realms are like this, I don't believe any normal life could survive."
"And I do not possess the Ability to restore life or return these realms to normal."
After Luo Ge's demonstration,
Noxia finally understood the crux of the problem.
The issue wasn't whether Luo Ge was willing to save the world.
It was that... the world already seemed to be shattered and chaotic beyond all hope of saving!
Luo Ge and his kind, the Candlemen, didn't need food or water. Their existence was sustained solely by the Spirit Candle.
But what about normal living beings?
Even if they were lucky enough to avoid being assimilated into the monsters of these chaotic realms, how could they possibly survive?
The appearance of the "Firewood Gatherers" had offered a sliver of hope, but they were likely just scraping by in the cracks of this chaotic world. Finding them would be incredibly difficult.
If he could, Luo Ge would want to make the world normal too—or at least normalize the area he was anchored to. He wouldn't mind living an Ordinary life in an Otherworld.
He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten real food.
Whenever he felt hungry, he could only trick himself with Recovery Wax Blocks and the occasional fish. It was a bitter existence...
After hearing what Luo Ge had to say,
Noxia's expression fell, but she hadn't completely lost hope. She said with determination, "The Primordial Fire."
"Perhaps... if we can find its home, the Eternal Holy Altar, there might be a way."
Hearing this, Luo Ge just smiled and turned his gaze toward the boundless darkness over the sea.
"Then let's give it a try."

As a content creator, Storyteller's life was decent, but it certainly had its frustrations.
But he was quite satisfied with the fact that he had a relatively flexible work schedule.
Sometimes, when a bout of laziness hit, he'd just play dead and delay his next video. If he got called out, he'd just make the excuse that he was suffering from a lack of inspiration and had gone out to "gather material."
Today was different, though. He really was gathering material.
"Hey, I thought you wanted to go into the fortress. Why are you still messing around in town?" Crafty Frog said, a little exasperated. "There's nothing in these houses. What's there to even search for? Did you forget you have a video to make?"
"Wa Zai, you just don't get it. I'm gathering material, and that requires rigor. Understand?"
In response to his question, Storyteller drawled, continuing to search the rooms one by one while carefully considering any potential clues.
Seeing this, Crafty Frog could only shake his head helplessly and continue to patiently help with the search.
And they weren't just searching randomly; they were methodically going through house by house. It looked like Storyteller wouldn't rest until he'd picked every single one clean.
And they did indeed have some minor finds.
"Huh?"
Storyteller seemed to have found something new and quickened his pace toward one of the houses.
Crafty Frog saw this and followed, curiously sizing up the house's interior: a cold forge, an anvil, all sorts of tools...
"A blacksmith's shop?"
After his exclamation of surprise, Crafty Frog saw that Storyteller had already pushed the door open and entered the smithy.
"See? Told you we'd find something."
Storyteller said with a grin, waving a piece of paper in his hand.
He had undoubtedly picked it up from a desk, next to which lay a man who appeared to have taken his own life.
[Regga Blacksmith's Will]
[Type: Letter]
[Content: ...I do not know why Lord Anthony has become so depraved. Perhaps I cannot rise up in defiance, but I will not be an accomplice to his evil...]
[Explanation: A blacksmith's will.]
After reading the short will, Storyteller grew pensive.
'Perhaps the information in this will can be connected to the orders found on the port captain...'
After a moment of thought, Storyteller put it away.
He then gave the smithy another thorough search and, sure enough, found several weapons in a chest and a suit of armor on a rack.
However, their Quality was mostly mediocre and not worth mentioning.
Next, the two of them meticulously looted the rest of the houses. After exploring nearly all of Regga Town, they finally arrived at the town square.
...The Blood Robe Priest and its Sacrificial Living Corpses were still waiting there.
"So, are we fighting it or not?" Crafty Frog asked, looking at Storyteller.
Looking at the frog's head, Storyteller couldn't help but sigh. "If you want to go get yourself killed, be my guest. I won't stop you."
With that said, he followed the route Niuniu had provided, heading to an alley beside the tavern. He stepped onto a wooden barrel and struggled up onto the roof.
Once he reached the highest point of the roof, he let out a breath and scanned his surroundings.
From up here, he could get a much clearer view of Regga Town.
Aside from the sea near the lighthouse and the Fog Gate, which were clearly visible, the area behind the fortress and everything else was shrouded in pitch-black darkness.
Just when Crafty Frog thought he was going to cross the line of rooftops to get inside, he suddenly saw him walk to the edge of the tavern roof, find his spot, and jump down.
"Haha, so you really can get to the second floor of the tavern this way. Interesting."
Storyteller remarked to himself after entering the second floor of the tavern from the balcony.
According to information from other players, the stairs on the tavern's first floor were broken, so there was no way up that way.
But clearly, the second floor wasn't inaccessible.
And the one who discovered this method was, of course, Niuniu.
