"You must eat, it is delicious, daddy, so delicious," the girl said, green of skin, amber of eye, golden of heart, offering the dessert to her father's lips.

"I know, I know."

"I will tell you who made them, okay?"

"Okay..."

As the girl fed her father from her fingers, she spoke of who made each dessert, and also how some were made.

"And this one-,"

"Jirot, Jirot, please, you need to eat some too, and feed some to your brother." Adam swallowed down the dessert, doing his best not to choke, for she hadn't given him a chance to chew and eat the food properly.

"Jarot, come," Jirot said, tearing a piece of the dessert.

"You have my saliva on your fingers, you silly girl."

"You mention it one more time, daddy, I dare you, and you will see what I do, what I do to you, okay?" Jirot snapped, almost shouting at her father. "It is-,"

Adam leaned down to kiss her forehead, and he cut into a small cake with a spoon, offering it to his son's lips. "Only one bite, okay?"

"Okay..." Little Jarot accepted it from his father's spoon.

"How is it?"

"Good!" The boy held up a thumbs up.

"Oh? Is it so good you want another bite, or should daddy steal it?" Adam side eyed his son.

"Mm..." Jarot narrowed his eyes at his dad, side eyeing him in return. "We can share it, daddy?"

"We can, we can, we can!" Adam said, cutting it into half again, and as he offered half of the remaining cake to his son, who ate from his spoon, the boy not quite realising why his father's cheeks were so red. The man’s eyes beamed, barely able to hear anything over his thundering heart, for his son was eating so well. He brought the spoon up to his lips, but a blade like finger pointed up towards him.

"Daddy! The spoon has Jarot's saliva! You cannot!"

"Since my son wishes for me to share with him, I must!"

Jirot reached up for the spoon, but her father brought it to her lips, and she chomped all around the spoon, eating the cake.

"It seems Jirot has stolen the cake Jarot has wished for me to eat, but it's okay, because I'm just so happy, so happy that my children and I are eating so well, so well, so well!" Adam showered his twins in kisses, and though Jirot remained annoyed, she allowed her father to adore her.

"Daddy, Jarot always eats so well."

"He does, he does, our little Jarot, who eats so well!" Adam beamed down at his son who flushed. As his eyes teared up, he pulled the pair closer to my chest. "Even if Jirot bullies me, I love my Jirot, and even if Jarot, you cause the most trouble, you silly boy, I love you, my Jarot, my Jarot!"

"Yes, Jarot always causes trouble," Jirot said, peeking to the side to her brother tilting his head towards her.

"You! You two! You're so funny, aren't you?"

The pair cackled together, and embraced their father. Thankfully, Jirot, after washing her hands, and finding a spoon, continued to feed her father, with the tales of who made such desserts, all the while her father’s fingers trailed through the girl's thick hair, and brushed her brother’s thick hair, tucking it behind his ear, the boy flushing slightly. The two leaned in to nuzzle one another, sharing their gentle warmth.

'I've got to enjoy my time with them like this before they end up growing up too much...'

"Daddy, I want to sleep with mummy and daddy today," Jirot said.

"Oh? I'll have to tell babo, and he might beat me up, but I'll make sure you can sleep with me, okay, okay?"

"Okay!" Jirot smiled wide, and she rolled over to her father's chest, hugging around him tight, and little Jarot half stood, hugging his father's neck, the pair holding their father close.

As the purple sky fell upon the Iyr, the triplets joined their father and mother, and as they made their way to accompany them, the triplets paused.

"You can all sleep with us, it's okay, come on," Adam called.

"No!" Virot declared. "Virot sleeping mummy!"

"Ah? I suppose then Jirot and Jarot, you will have to sleep with mummy with Virot, and Konarot, Kirot, and Karot will have to sleep with me."

"We must surrender Larot and Xarot," Jirot said, rubbing her chin, considering her greatfather, who must be so upset. She knew such a thing, because he had said it to her minutes ago.

"Yes!" their babo exclaimed. "I will claim Larot!"

"I will claim Xarot," Mulrot said, and as the boy turned to see his greatmother, he blinked, and in the next moment he was within her arms. The boy flushed, looking away, and then returned to look at her. As the two held one another's gazes, the boy looked away once more, squealing and laughing, before turning back to look at his grandmother, though all was black, and as he felt the wrinkled hands, he pushed them away to see his greatfather, causing the boy to blink, and squeal once more.

As little Xarot was taken away, and Larot waddled beside his greatfather, the children settled in the evening.

Damrot stared at his father with sleepy eyes.

"I am still here."

The boy flushed, and he snuggled up to his father's chest, having spent so much time with his mother, and having recharged with her, so now it was time to recharge with his father, who wrapped his arms around the boy, holding him close, and the two cuddled at night.

The gentle rain fell.

All the while, a particular figure, during the noonval festival, seemed missing.

Tanika stared at the sky, nursing a bottle of wine, wondering where Bael had been this entire time, especially since the children had been searching for him.

'I will be missing for quite some time, so train by yourself,' Bael had said, and had stepped away into the Iyr.

Tanika continued to stare at the sky above, tilting her head slightly. She sipped her wine, closing her eyes, allowing the rain to coax her to slumber.
