Chapter 985: Chapter 413: Sword of Order_2
A player from the Realm of Reason arrives at the Totem and hands over an Imaginary Divinity.
This Imaginary Divinity is named Hati the wolf, a giant wolf in mythology that devours the moon, one of the participants in Ragnarok.
Though not highly ranked among the gods, its combat strength is considerable, and the traits of its divinity are extremely practical.
The divinity of the White Wolf perfectly aligns with Hati, leading to him being chosen by the Bright Society, granting him a second chance.
The Bright Society has two requirements for him: First, before the World Dungeon begins, activate and integrate the Imaginary Divinity.
Second, enter a Dungeon Plane through a channel provided by the Peace Church to investigate the details of the Eternal Light Church.
According to the Bright Society’s emissary, in the recently concluded qualification dungeon, Peace showcased great prowess. Besides Peace, another presence attracted much attention— the Eternal Light Church.
Based on intelligence gathered from the Peace Church, the Eternal Light Church first appeared in a dungeon called Midnight Cemetery, where the Breaker was coincidentally Peace.
This leads the Bright Society to suspect that the Eternal Light Church is related to Peace, prompting him to investigate the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon.
Should he accomplish these two tasks, he will become an official member of the Bright Society upon entering the Realm of Reason.
If he messes up, he will die.
Upon hearing the first half of the Bright Society emissary’s sentence, the White Wolf was already exhilarated and eagerly accepted the task.
The White Wolf did not expect that his failure in the qualification dungeon not only didn’t affect him negatively but also gave him the chance to possess a divinity and become an official member of the Bright Society.
This time, no errors can be afforded.
Though he already knows that the Peace Church has designed a divinity awakening ceremony for him, to increase the probability of success, he still held a blood sacrifice in reality before entering the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon.
The Totem Organization selected thirty thousand people from several countries under their control as sacrifices, feeding all their life force to Hati’s divinity.
Once the White Wolf entered the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon, his body’s divinity reached near maturity, thanks to the blood sacrifice in reality.
Having completed the initial preparations, the White Wolf met with the Saint Heir of the Peaceful Sect, one of the designers of the divinity awakening ceremony.
Regarding the awakening of Hati’s divinity, the Bright Society and the Peace Church designed the most suitable awakening ceremony for the Midnight Graveyard Plane.
The awakening ceremony is divided into two parts: one centered around the White Wolf, the preliminary awakening of Hati’s divinity; the other focused on Wick, enabling Wick to complete the supplementation of the moon.
Once Hati’s divinity awakens and devours a complete full moon, Hati’s divinity will fully mature.
Of course, the latter part of the plan has not been disclosed to Wick by the White Wolf.
According to the plan, once Hati’s divinity matures fully, the next step requires the White Wolf to ascertain the connection between the Eternal Light Church and Peace.
Yet, everything should preserve Hati’s divinity as a priority. If Peace is encountered during the operation, the task will be deemed completed, and immediate disengagement from the plane is necessary.
For his subsequent experiences in the Midnight Cemetery, Wu Chang doesn’t need to learn through resentment.
At the end of the resentment, Wu Chang saw the Blood-Colored Will of the White Wolf.
[Redress the failure in the qualification dungeon, astonish everyone in the World Dungeon, becoming one of the most dazzling presences in the dungeon.]
A good will, he liked it.
In recognition of the White Wolf’s ambitious nature, he too would strike hard against the Bright Society in the World Dungeon, fulfilling the Blood-Colored Will of the White Wolf.
Detaching from the resentment of the White Wolf, Wu Chang’s expression became somewhat strange.
He previously thought that the Peaceful Sect had left some contingency means at the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon to monitor his appearance, ready to send people to cause trouble upon sensing his entry into the dungeon plane.
Now it seems that everything was sheer coincidence.
The White Wolf’s entry into the dungeon was purely at the behest of the Bright Society to investigate matters related to the Eternal Light Sect.
The Bright Society regards Wu Chang as a key target, naturally wanting to ascertain all information around Wu Chang. Cross-referencing intelligence with the Peaceful Sect, they discovered issues with the Eternal Light Sect.
Speaking of the exposure of the Eternal Light Sect, an important figure is undeniably notable.
Wu Chang’s appearance as Peace during the dungeon strategy process rarely coincides with the Eternal Light Sect.
Moreover, the dungeons he has strategized over have mostly become his private dungeons; without his permission, other players cannot enter, hence no means for investigation.
The only three remaining flaws are: the Steam Phantom Dungeon where most entered players surviving have eyes from the Bright Society or the Evolution Sect, and they saw the Eternal Light Sect there.
The Silent Route Dungeon where he and Revelation partnered together, duping the Peace Church and seizing the Earthly Divine Kingdom of the Peace Church; Erin even appeared in person to hammer Leman’s projection.
The last flaw is the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon.
Leman, being a renowned Great Evil God of the Abyss, is considerate of face; his Divine Kingdom being invaded by Wu Chang and beaten by Erin demands secret redress, not publicity.
From just the Steam Phantom Dungeon alone, the Bright Society finds it difficult to spot the affiliation between the Eternal Light Sect and Wu Chang, leading to the need to pair up intelligence with the Peaceful Sect.
But the problem lies in the Steam Phantom Dungeon, where a player known as the Priest had temporarily borrowed Divine Power from Erin through a Divine Contract.
The content of the Divine Contract is straightforward; Erin temporarily loaned part of Divine Power to the Priest, who, in return, needs to preach in subsequent three planes to help the Eternal Light Church establish roots in the dungeon plane.
Yet, the Genius Priest treats the real world as one plane. Upon finishing the dungeon, he starts widespread preaching within the Western Union.
