Sean! The man known by everyone! The myth told by their enemies, the legend that shaped their world!
He has actually returned!
"The reason why he had been gone for so long, is because he had to save the world of the elves and now, they’re our allies, if not for the fact that not many of us are at silver rank, we could have taken the other zones ourselves with the help of the elves."
Another news! They were shaken by the information brought to them by their matron.
"Don’t spread this news to anyone! He wants to rest before the war." She glares at them, causing them to sweat.
"My lady, is that the reason why our princess has been skipping her lessons?" One of the elders asks.
He isn’t just one of their guards but also one of their teachers.
"No, still, if she skips class, let her be, she’s definitely going to stay at his home, don’t worry about her safety, both Priscel and Dorothy are with her all the time."
They are much more relieved, still, they want to ask if the rumour regarding Sean accepting their princess as his godchild is true but they are too afraid to ask.
"Back to the matter at hand, I want all of you to start searching for the perfect location for our territory starting tomorrow!"
"Yes!" They quickly withdraw after receiving their command.
"The Evergreen Family will rise under my command!" Finally, something called ambition lights up in her heart.
The next day, everyone is getting busy, except for Sean.
"It seems that Ganko is angry at me." He mutters, recalling the annoyed and angry look of his lover as she limps towards the bathroom, he can’t help but feel embarrassed.
He’s truly too much.
"Margaret."
"Yes, my lord?" Margaret hurriedly answers, she’s quite nervous.
"I want you to order me another bed, at least a king-size one, I don’t care about it’s design, the most important thing is that it must be durable."
"I will immediately procure the item, my lord!"
"No need to do it yourself, you can ask the Gold Family to procure it, they are more connected towards this type of group than us." She can only agree.
"I am leaving for a couple of days, you are in charge when we’re not on the house, if Jasmine ask you where I’m currently at, I’m going to Everglazed Witch City to help with Bun Bun’s task."
"Please take care of yourself, my lord." He nods and left, he doesn’t want to be hounded by everyone, so, he left with his getup yesterday.
With his speed, he can quickly arrive at the space gate in the matters of seconds but he decided to walk to the gate today.
’Everyone is happy, with peace comes comfort, with comfort, sometimes comes boredom.’ He sighs inwardly.
Humans are just like that but he can’t change it and has no motivation to do so.
Martial artists with their pet beasts are walking or riding in the streets.
There are also vehicles present everywhere but they are now slowly getting phased out.
Oil isn’t really essential now and rather than researching other alternative fuel source, the people rather build carriages like vehicles being pulled or strapped on majestic mystique creatures.
Looking at the billboards everywhere, he can’t help but chuckle, it’s basically both modern and strange.
The majority of people are talking about their pet beasts, only a small minority focuses in other else.
"I’ve heard that the Water Arrow Turtles are now famous, if we can buy them and raise them, we might be able to apply as ferries on the dragon river."
"Forget it dude, those things eats like a Baoumont."
"D*mn! There goes my plan to get rich."
"Don’t listen to this conspiracy theorist bro, sure, those things eats a lot but unlike Baoumont, they eat almost anything, raising them is much easier, the only hard part is that you need to raise them in their juvenile stage and it requires massive investment."
"I don’t care! As long as it’s strong enough to carry people, I can earn back the money I spent and even grow stronger."
This was just normal conversation everywhere,
With peace, many people are now trying to find ways to earn rich without landing them on legal troubles.
The Fox Spirits are more terrifying than bloodhounds, they can also hypnotize you on telling the truth.
You can’t escape once you’re found, there are some shady parts in their city, that’s true but even those guys never really mess with the laws, nor, in the bright side of their city.
Some people wants strong mystique creatures with great potential, some wants cute ones that can perform on stage with them, many likes practical ones that can help them earn money.
The majority of people are still in the first type, after all, strength is the most important thing in this world.
Arriving at the Space Gate, he was surprised to see so many people are already queuing up for transfer.
It seems that this is normal for people that earn enough money to travel back home after their job.
"I’ve heard that there are now more people trying to transfer into our zones."
"Yes, according to what I’ve heard, many of them came from the Core Zone, listen to this, probably because they have been getting what they want all of their life that they want our government to succumb to the control of the Federation again."
"What!?"
"Yes, do you know which divine guardian they tried to say this?"
"Who?"
"Dragon king Dorgagon."
The listeners sucks in a deep breath.
"What happened next?"
Those that were listening became even curious, this includes Sean.
"It was no surprise, he was killed by lord Dorgaron, he was crushed into a bloody pulp in his hands, there are multiple gold rankers that tried to make a move but with just one snort from him made them cough up blood."
Sean’s expression turns strange, he didn’t expect that those from the Core Zone are still so foolish.
Their zone was abandoned, left for dead, the only reason why it’s still standing is because of the collective effort of everyone, of course, the main reason was because of him and his partners.
Still, they are no longer under anyone, they are a independent power that answers to no one but themselves.
If those from the Federation tries to wrestle the control of their zone from them, Sean doesn’t even need to make a move, the people will make a move for them.
He can’t believe that those from the Core Zone expected that they’re still going to be subservient towards them.
"Hahaha? What do they expect? They run away because they are weak but we are different, it was the invaders that run away from our zone because they are afraid!"
Everyone was proud of this, there are also others that are unaware of the past of their zones.
"What happened to those people? Were they detained after causing chaos?"
"Not really, in fact, they are currently in our city, probably in the Newbie District."
"Tch! They really don’t deserve to be accepted by us."
PAK!
The one that commented was slapped in the back of the head.
"You fool! Our motto is to accept anyone that isn’t a traitor nor a threat to us! Don’t you dare smear our doctrine!"
The man hurriedly apologizes, thankful that his friend talked some sense into him.
It didn’t take long for it was Sean’s turn, the queue might be long but the procedure is quite fast.
With a flash, Sean appears on Everglazed Witch City, looking at the infrastructure around him, he was stunned.
It wasn’t the same as before, there are now grand buildings standing all over the place.
Still, he wasn’t there for sightseeing, with a quick flash, he runs towards the gate of the city, shows his badge and left the place.
"Dxmn! The entire mountain was truly destroyed!" Looking at the empty place in front of him, he can’t help but click his tongue.
"Rather than Bun Bun, Jasmine should have assigned this job to Dorgagon." He mutters.
Dorgagon isn’t only a master of the water element but also that of ice, no one night know this but he and his partners do.
"Fortunately for Bun Bun, I have a helper in mind." As he enters the area where it’s covered in snow, he sees Bun Bun, directing multiple people.
"Hmm? You want to induce an artificial cold area around this place by concentration a large number of ice type mystique creature here?" He quickly sees through their plan.
Hearing an unfamiliar voice nearby, everyone was stunned, they turned their gaze towards him.
At first, they were suspicious, many of them are arching to attack him but after seeing the badge in his hand, they quickly relaxed.
"Mas- Ahem! You’re here!" Bun Bun’s eyes lights up, they might not know who he is but as his partner, she can sense his aura.
"Yeah, tell me the current plan and your progress." He asks gently.
She pulls him into her private quarters, basically, a small ship, created from copy on the Federation’s ship but in a much smaller size.
It was turned into a movable temporary home for those that don’t want to stay in the wilderness.
"You mean that you guys had been trying those past few months to create an artificial snow land but fails to make it permanently cold?"
"Yes, I’m confused, this place was formerly a snow paradise, why is it difficult to transform it?"
"It’s different of course! A mountain is quite high, the higher the altitude the colder the air gets, that’s why it starts to be covered in frost, what you guys are doing is basically terra forming the place into a snow land without any proper handling, just thinking that constantly absorbing ice elemental energy will definitely transform it, naive! It will take hundreds of years for you to achieve this!"
Bun Bun lowers her head, she’s not used being chided by him.
"Besides, why are you the one that’s in charge of the project? I think Dorgagon is much more suited to complete this."
Hearing this, even though, she’s afraid, she still decided to tell the truth.
After learning what happened, he can’t help but sigh and sits down on a chair.
"No wonder you were tasked with this project, you’re actually the reason why there’s no mountain in the first place."
Just as the entire room was covered in a tense silence, he finally speaks after pondering for a few minutes.
"We need a high quality treasure of the ice elemental to continue this project."
Hearing this, Bun Bun’s eyes lights up, she slaps her breast as they jiggle.
"You can count on me!" She had been feeling guilty all this time, now that she’s given a way to find a solution, of course she’s ecstatic.
"Good, since that’s the case, I’m leaving, inform me once you found the treasure, then, I’ll do my part, if you can’t find me back home, I’m probably going to be in Golden Paradise."
He leaves, for him, staying here would nothing but just wasting his time, without a treasure to transform the place, it wouldn’t change a thing.
"You should go quickly but before you leave, inform the workers first." Now knowing just how clumsy she is, he starts to worry.
"Don’t worry, I only misjudged my strength when I destroyed the mountain, I have enough experience as a sect master to know what to do." Bun Bun hurriedly assures him seeing that he seems to doesn’t trust her decision making anymore.
He smiles and nods his head but he’s still doubtful, it will probably take some time to trust her with absolute faith again.
Being mistrusted made her miserable but she can’t complain, after all, she’s the one at fault and he’s even the one fixing her mistake.
Leaving the place, he went to where the city hall is.
