Beast Bonding System: Cutting Ties In A Post Apocalyptic World.
Chapter 231: The rejected bride’s scheme.
Elliot actually laughed out loud this time. "An heir? With you? I would rather remain childless for the rest of my life than pass my first class lineage to a Thin-Blood child."
Thin-Blood?! That insult stung worse than a slap.
"I don’t care what you say!" Lita yelled. She charged at him like a angry little tiger, closing the gap between them. She reached out, trying to yank away the towel_ the only obstacle left between them." You are my husband and you must fulfill your duty!"
"Get off me! What is wrong with you?!" Elliot cursed, struggling to push her off. He shoved her back, and Lita tumbled onto the soft mattress with a heavy thud.
"Shameless! Loose woman!" Elliot snapped, rubbing his arms like he had just touched poison. "What kind of crazy woman did my mother make me marry?"
His throat was dry from all the yelling. He marched over to the table, grabbed the water jug, poured himself a big cup, and drank it all in one gulp.
Lita, sitting on the bed, slowly straightened her posture. A sneaky smile spread across her face. She lay back down, crossing her arms, and waited.
Within seconds, Elliot froze. He gripped the edge of the table, shaking his head frantically as if a spirit had possessed his brain. His breathing turned heavy and ragged. Slowly, he turned his head and saw the naked woman lying on the bed. The same woman that he had rejected seconds ago.
Suddenly, in his eyes, she wasn’t disgusting anymore. She looked like a divine goddess descended from the heavens.
His knees buckled. He fell to the floor, but the intense fire inside him forced him to crawl toward the bed.
"You drugged me." He hissed. "Bitch."
Lita burst out laughing. "Ha! You think you are so wise, Elliot Kaelion?! Well, I am smarter!"
She opened her legs, ready for her victory. Elliot threw himself onto the bed and pressed his body against hers. He captured her lips in a deep, passionate kiss. Never in his entire life had he desired a woman this desperately.
Lita smirked through the kiss. She reached her hand down to touch his manhood, expecting to feel a rigid steel rod ready for action. Instead, her hand touched something_ surprisingly soft. Like a piece of warm, cooked noodle.
Lita blinked. She pulled back slightly from the kiss and looked at him. Elliot was panting, his eyes completely wide and filled with crazy, burning lust. He was trying his absolute best, grunting and squirming, but_ nothing was happening down there.
Suddenly, Elliot’s eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he collapsed right on top of her, completely unconscious.
Silence filled the room.
Lita lay trapped under his heavy body. She slowly reached down again, nudged his manhood with two fingers, and let out a horrified gasp.
The rumors_ the secret servant gossip she had dismissed as silly slander! The rumors were true! Young Master Elliot, the proud bachelor of the city, couldn’t get it up!
The sudden realization hit her like a lightning bolt. Combined with the smell of his sweat and the absurdity of the whole situation, her stomach violently turned.
"Ugh! Gross!" Lita shoved his dead weight off her body, scrambled off the bed naked, and ran as fast as she could into the bathroom. She fell to her knees beside the basin and puked her guts out.
When she came out of the bathroom, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, Lita stared at Elliot’s limp body sprawled across the bed.
She paced back and forth, her naked feet slapping against the cold floor in utter frustration. This had not gone according to plan! Sure, she had proven that he was as useful down there as a soggy noodle, but what good was that to her? No one would ever believe her if she just walked out and said it. She needed proof. She needed evidence to show the whole clan that she was officially a fully recognized wife of the Kaelion family, and that their marriage was very much valid!
In a flash of inspiration, Lita sprang into action.
First, she rushed to the water jug, dumped the dangerous leftover wasp nectar water down the drain, and refilled it with fresh, innocent water. Next, she found a pair of pants and dressed Elliot, hiding his shame. Then, she ran to the door, unlocked it, pulled it wide open, and inhaled deep into her lungs.
"Help! Help!" she screamed at the top of her voice, squeezing out a few real tears. "Somebody save my husband! Please!"
Her shrill cry pierced through the quiet night of the estate. Within seconds, loud footsteps thundered down the hallway. Relatives, guards, and servants came rushing into the room.
Lita quickly snatched a silk sheet from the bed and wrapped it tight around her bare shoulders, looking like a poor, traumatized little bird.
Sabrina burst in first, her eyes wide as she looked from Lita’s mess of hair to Elliot’s unconscious, naked-chested form on the bed. "What in the heavens happened here?!" Sabrina gasped, clutching her chest.
Lita sobbed loudly, dabbing her eyes with the edge of the sheet. "We_ we were making love! It was so passionate! But then, then he just collapsed on top of me!"
Zayn pushed his way through the crowd, sniffed the air, and grunted loudly. He growled, shaking his head in disgust. "Idiot! I told him not to drink so much! He was drinking like a fish earlier. The alcohol must have turned toxic in his blood and knocked him out!"
"Quick, don’t just stand there!" Sabrina ordered the guards. "Carry him to the hospital in the sanctuary!"
Two strong guards hurried forward, hauled Elliot’s limp body off the bed, and rushed him out the door.
Lita snatched a proper robe from her closet, tied it tightly around her waist, and ran after them. "Elliot! Oh, my sweet husband, please be okay!" she wailed, sniffling and weeping as she followed the crowd down the long stone corridors.
As they turned the corner into the main pavilion, Lita caught sight of Loveline standing among a group of young ladies. Loveline had spent every moment sneering at Lita, calling her a worthless, rejected bride who couldn’t even get her husband to look at her.
Loveline and her little circle stared in shock at the chaos_ at the guards carrying a half-naked, passed-out Elliot, and at Lita running right behind him in a messy robe, crying her eyes out.
Lita lowered her head, pretending to sob into her sleeve. But behind her hands, a triumphant, wicked smile spread across her face.
Look all you want, you petty snakes, Lita thought happily, her heart practically singing. The ’rejected bride’ title is officially dead!
It didn’t matter that Elliot couldn’t perform. It didn’t matter that he had passed out like a dead pig. Right now, the entire clan was witness to the fact that they had shared a bed. Her position as his wife was sealed, and no one could ever mock her again.
