Back to the 80s: Raising my Wolfy Boyfriend
Chapter 946: Nephew Pays Respects to Two Uncles
Today is the day when the Yu Family meets the Yin Family.
The meeting between the two families was interrupted due to an incident involving Gu Jin and An Mingji.
Now the Yin Family has left, and Yu Qingli has also taken his people away.
Before leaving, he bid farewell to his son.
Yu Shuo decided to stay and planned to go with Jiang Hanyi to see their master.
The two of them had noticed something was off about their master’s demeanor when he left, so they decided to visit him later.
After no one obstructed them, the superpower users from the Darwin Family escorted Xing Wenming and Mao Minlan to a car, and two luxury cars drove away in style.
Outside, only the Wanqi Family, the Mu Family, and Prince Rong and his son were left.
With the Darwin Family gone, Prince Rong naturally walked up to the Wanqi Family Head.
He smiled and said, "Brother Yanghong, you truly are one to hide your talents. If not for today’s visit with Xiyuan, I wouldn’t have known that the Wanqi Family had such strong backing."
Upon hearing this, Wanqi Yanghong’s face showed helplessness, but there was pride in his eyes: "Your words overpraise me. It’s the younger generation at home who excel and have been favored by Young Master An and Miss Gu, and we are merely basking in their glory."
Prince Rong displayed a fox-like grin, his expression revealing deep meaning at these words.
Perhaps others could believe a bit of this, but for these old foxes who have dealt with each other for years, not a single word was believed.
Meanwhile, the younger generations of the Mu Family, the Han Family, and the Wanqi Family gathered together.
Yu Shuo and Jiang Hanyi also joined them.
Wanqi Jingyi, the elder among them, personally introduced Yu Shuo and Jiang Hanyi to the two brothers of the Mu Family: "Zifan, these are my senior and second senior brothers."
Mu Zifan, who holds an important position in Chen Palace, naturally was familiar with Yu Shuo, the first top aide to Prince Rong.
Jiang Hanyi, the youngest son of the wealthiest Jiang Family in Wanhai City, although not involved in politics, was thriving in Beijing.
Though not familiar, Mu Zifan had some knowledge of them.
Mu Zifan nodded gently towards the two: "Secretary Yu, Mr. Jiang."
"Young Master Mu."
"Young Master Mu."
Yu Shuo and Jiang Hanyi, knowing Mu Zifan’s status, treated him with great courtesy without a hint of humility.
If it were in the past, without having Gu Jin as their master or knowing inscrutable figures like Young Master An, they wouldn’t have dared even imagine having relations with people from the Four Great Families of Beijing.
Especially the head of the mighty Mu Family, the most outstanding young heir among the Four Great Families.
Though they currently lacked any capability to compare with this vast family, as disciples of Gu Jin, they were destined not to bow easily to anyone.
Han Xiyuan, standing at the side, stared strangely at both Jiang Hanyi and Wanqi Jingyi.
He asked Yu Shuo, "Master, if Mr. Jiang and Brother Jingyi are your junior brothers, shouldn’t I be calling them uncles?"
Yu Shuo raised an eyebrow, clearly just realizing this issue as well.
Jiang Hanyi looked somewhat speechless, stroking his chin as he looked at the freshly minted nephew: "That call just aged me by ten or twenty years, as if you’re addressing an old geezer."
Wanqi Jingyi nodded and smiled at Han Xiyuan: "That’s right, who would have thought we’d be fortunate to belong to the same sect."
Han Xiyuan’s eyes curved into smiles, and he immediately bent at a ninety-degree angle, respectfully greeting them: "Nephew Han Xiyuan greets the two uncles!"
Jiang Hanyi immediately said, "Alright, no need for such big bows; we don’t have anything good for you like our master’s grand generosity."
Upon hearing this, Han Xiyuan immediately straightened up.
