Back to the 80s: Raising my Wolfy Boyfriend
Chapter 1001: To Bury Them with His Ajin
"Family Head..."
Allen whispered in An Mingji’s ear, but the latter didn’t hear a word.
He couldn’t believe everything in front of him.
The people and scenery around him were unfamiliar; it certainly couldn’t be real.
How could his Ajin... how could she have left before him?
An Mingji’s grip on the coffin tightened, and a violent aura surrounded him.
This enraged presence spread wantonly.
The people nearby, as this oppressive aura swept in, trembled and shuddered in their hearts.
It was terrifying!
An Mingji stared at the person in the coffin, exuding a terrifying and destructive aura.
He wanted everyone present to be buried with his Ajin!
"Xiao An, Xiao An..."
A familiar voice resounded.
So close, right by his ear!
An Mingji suddenly lifted his head, scanning the surroundings, searching for something.
"Xiao An? Xiao An, I’m here, what’s wrong with you?"
The unfamiliar scenery in An Mingji’s eyes gradually fragmented, like a painting being torn to pieces, becoming blurred and finally disappearing in front of him.
An Mingji’s hands were still gripping tightly, his delicate face shadowed and fierce, his eyes bloodshot with a painful gaze.
When he came back to his senses, what came into view was a familiar face.
It was his Ajin, her eyes free from creases, looking at him full of concern.
An Mingji opened his mouth, his voice hoarse: "Ajin sister?"
"I’m here, what happened to you, you scared me to death!"
Recalling the young man’s heart-wrenching cries just now and the madness in his eyes, Gu Jin’s heart couldn’t help but ache.
An Mingji raised his hand and touched Gu Jin’s face.
This was his familiar Ajin, her skin warm to the touch.
He was certain, this was the real reality.
The person he held dear was safe, and deep down, An Mingji felt immense relief.
The scenes from the Illusion Realm had been too real, leaving his heart still in pain and rage.
"It’s good you’re okay!" An Mingji expressed in gratitude.
His terrified tone carried a sense of surviving after calamity.
An Mingji’s eyes were filled with undisguised affection as he opened his arms to embrace Gu Jin.
The suffocating pressure around them vanished.
The young man returned to his usual gentle demeanor.
Yet, something was still different.
As if sensing his unease, Gu Jin wrapped her arms around his waist, her heart slightly trembling.
The image of Xiao An calling out to her in gut-wrenching sorrow, his eyes nearly breaking, remained etched in her mind.
Their embrace didn’t last long, and soon they separated.
An Mingji didn’t tell Gu Jin about the strange Illusion Realm he had seen.
His gaze swept around coldly, and he said, "Something’s not right here."
Gu Jin looked down, at Xiao An’s tight grip on her hand, knowing he must have experienced something, otherwise, his emotions wouldn’t be so out of control.
"There is something off indeed." Gu Jin wholeheartedly agreed with An Mingji.
Earlier, they had mysteriously lost each other, and Xiao An’s recent strange behavior all pointed to the eeriness of this place.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Suddenly, the sky lit up with brilliant fireworks.
This was the signal they used when entering the valley, to communicate with the outside.
High above, three splendid fireworks were displayed.
One firework meant encountering an attack outside, two called for assistance, and three hinted at finding Gu Dehao and his group’s hidden signals.
Gu Jin’s eyes brightened.
"We’ve found Father!"
An Mingji nodded, responding softly.
They looked toward the place where the fireworks had lit up, feeling a great sense of relief.
Especially An Mingji, thinking of the previous Illusion Realm scenes, he still felt a lingering unease.
