Fifth Satellite City.

Under Feng Lihou’s call, more and more people joined their pact: as long as they died, others were allowed to eat them.

This was to lessen their own sense of guilt.

Feng Lihou looked at the people around him, holding a dagger, slowly squatting down, about to take action on the corpse on the floor.

Old Dou standing next to him suddenly spoke up: "Why don’t we try pleading for help from the Big Camphor Tree Base again, I just feel like this isn’t right."

Before Feng Lihou could answer, the cat leaning against the wall sneered: "Ha, do you think it will work? If it did, we wouldn’t be in this situation by now, would we? Besides, who do you think you are, asking them to risk coming to help us? You’re dreaming."

Feng Lihou paused slightly, then looked up at Old Dou:

"I won’t force you, but if you want to survive, you have to do this."

After speaking, he used the dagger to cut off a piece of flesh and then put it into his mouth.

Gag—

Feng Lihou felt a mouthful of the bloody taste, but he didn’t spit it out, forcing himself to swallow it.

Then he passed the dagger to another person.

The person behind him also did the same as Feng Lihou, using the dagger to cut off a piece of flesh.

With two people starting, the others, already starving, rushed over to share the corpse.

In one corner of the room, a young man watched them with hateful eyes.

That corpse was his older brother, but he was powerless to stop these people by himself.

He glared at each person eating his brother, as if trying to memorize their faces.

Clenching his teeth, tears had already been cried dry.

Watching this group of people, he made a decision.

While everyone went over to feast, he secretly moved his body towards the exit.

He reached the second floor, where every window had someone resisting the zombies’ assault.

So he slowly climbed upstairs, reaching the third and fourth floors without finding an opportunity.

As he reached the stairs leading to the fifth floor, he wiped away his tears.

He spoke to the person guarding the area: "I’ll take over, so you can rest."

That person was already somewhat tired, and was more than happy to have someone take over the guard, so he laughed: "Sure, you keep watch, these things above are secured with ropes, just make sure you don’t let things fall down."

"Don’t worry, I’ll keep watch all the time," the young man said seriously.

"Alright, you watch, I’ll catch a quick nap, I’m dying of exhaustion," the man said as he hammered his back, then went to the right corridor and fell asleep there.

The young man looked at the steps blocked with ropes and steel bars, which were placed to prevent the things above from falling.

These blockades kept the zombies on the roof from charging down.

The young man took a glance around, everyone was asleep.

With a ruthless heart, he gently pulled out a steel bar, but the barriers were so numerous that pulling out one had no effect.

So he pulled out three more and used a dagger to cut a rope.

Next, he moved a chair out and forcefully pulled the rod jammed on the handrail of the stairs.

Bang!

The rod was pulled out and crashed to the ground.

This instantly woke up the sleeping person nearby.

"What are you doing? Are you crazy?" A tall man jumped up, exclaiming angrily.

Seeing he was discovered, the young man ignored the man and continued to untie the bindings.

Meanwhile, a few others woke up.

Seeing what the young man was doing, they hurried over to stop him.

Slap!

Someone gave the young man a slap, angrily scolding him:

"Do you know this will kill us? If you want to die, don’t drag us down!"

The young man’s eyes showed a crazed look, and he suddenly shouted:

"All of you ate my brother, you’re all damn well deserved to die!"

His shout was loud and excited the zombies on the roof even more.

They pushed hard against the barriers on the stairs.

Crash!

The young man had pulled out four or five steel bars, cut the ropes, and removed the chair and rod that had been stuck in position, leaving the items on the stairs without any resistance against the zombie attack.

In a chain reaction, the objects on the stairs rolled down with a crash.

"Block them quickly!" a man shouted in terror.

He ran frantically, trying to block the rolling objects with his body.

Unfortunately, there were too many items above, and with the zombies crashing from above, he couldn’t stop the items from rolling down.

"Ah!" The man was crushed by a meter-long iron cabinet, which was buried under boxes, chairs, and other things falling on him.

More terrifyingly, these objects continued rolling down like a tidal wave.

The zombies above surged into the middle of the stairs.

The right side of the stairs only had a handrail, and zombies reached through the gaps to grab people.

This commotion alerted more and more people.

They rushed over trying to prevent the zombies from breaking down.

But unfortunately, many had gone days without food and had no strength, while the longer the zombies stayed in the rain above, the stronger they became, making it hard to fend them off.
