"Ha! Lego Mall really is a great place, damn it, tightly guarded like a fortress, what a damn good place!"

Several cars stopped at the back door of the Lego Mall, and a group of people got out of the cars. The leader swaggered, completely disregarding the on-duty guards as he walked in.

"Stop!"

Chen Hanzhou stood at the door with his arms crossed, looking coldly at the newcomers, and said angrily, "Who told you to come in?"

"You little brat, don’t you know? Your boss, damn it, he invited us over. What’s your attitude, you small-time gatekeeper dare to be arrogant? Apologize to me!"

The leader sneered at Chen Hanzhou, looking down his nose.

"Ah, could it be that you are... friends of Absolute Justice?"

Chen Hanzhou’s attitude suddenly made a 180-degree turn.

??

The newcomers were a bit stunned, and the leader hearing the polite response, tilted his head back higher, looking at Chen Hanzhou with his nostrils: "That’s right, we are the Avengers of Justice from Absolute Justice!"

The Avengers of Justice is the designation for Absolute Justice’s internal combat personnel.

"I truly apologize, it’s my fault for not recognizing someone so important, please, please..."

Chen Hanzhou raised his mechanical limb, showing a very courteous attitude, while Qi Xiaoshuai beside him smiled widely, as if welcoming a great hero.

"That’s more like it, not bad..."

The leader was very satisfied with their reaction.

"You must be friends of Absolute Justice, apologies for not welcoming you sooner, it’s truly a mistake on our part!"

At that moment, Zhang Su’s voice came from inside the mall, full of enthusiasm, followed by the sound of footsteps, suggesting not many people inside.

"I was waiting at the front, how come so many brothers came from the pedestrian street, haha." Zhang Su approached them.

The people from Absolute Justice didn’t let their guard down, some of them still had their hands on their guns, but when they saw the silhouettes appear before them, only about five people, they all breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hey, you’re quite polite, front door or back door, doesn’t matter, damn it, earlier we encountered a group of zombies on National Road, took a detour over Wenhua Road, no need to go around the front! By the sound of it, you must be Zhang Xin, Captain Zhang, no no no, I reckon you should be called Leader Zhang, haha, Leader Zhang!"

The leader put a cigarette in his mouth, eyeing the distinguished-looking man among them clearly leading, though surrounded by a too-lackluster group, three women and an old man, all with friendly smiles. What kind of ragtag group is this?

Has the Survivor Alliance run out of people, sending this bunch of trash to greet us!

Zhang Su had already noticed the vehicles approaching from behind Lego Mall, when stepping out the safety passage with others, there were twenty-something people scattered around, clearly distinguishing who were ordinary members and who were combat personnel by their posture, and he discovered something very interesting.

The person speaking was trying to act all cocky and arrogant, but appeared both flamboyant and pretentious, it was obvious the guy was putting on an act.

Why pretend? Because it’s not real!

Their voice was seventy to eighty percent like Ding Wei’s over the intercom, but having used this tactic before, how could he fall for it?

However, Zhang Su was puzzled, how could Ding Wei recklessly find someone to act as a substitute like this, perhaps the only possibility is that he never showed up in front of Survivor Alliance members, and nobody knows his exact appearance!

No matter what, Zhang Su smirked secretly, the opponent’s little trick was not worth worrying about, left or right, it’s just a matter of what process will bring them to their end, but where did Ding Wei go?

He decided to find out.

"Hahaha, Leader Ding has overpraised, come, please this way, Old Yang, go prepare some snacks!"

Such a casual remark didn’t raise any suspicion among the visitors.

Old Yang, presumably that old man standing behind him?

The Absolute Justice group was pondering this as they followed along, and then everything suddenly changed!

"Hey..."

Bam, thud thud, whoosh...

"Don’t you even move."

"Everyone, be honest!"

"Damn it, fuck...ugh!"

"Stop hitting, I’m not an Avenger of Justice..."

A burst of chaos erupted as twenty to thirty robust individuals suddenly rushed out from the darkness, full of energy!

Almost all of the Absolute Justice members were caught off guard and taken down to the ground, except for one strong man who struggled for a bit, but ultimately couldn’t escape being subdued, gasping for air as several people pinned him down immobile.

Handling zombies may make one hesitant, dealing with humans, and even in a sneak attack, that’s a breeze!

"Ah, sons of bitches, you’re traitors, what are you doing, we don’t have anything, you’ll gain nothing from us, let us go or this place will be overrun by the zombie horde!"

The pinned leader tried defiantly to raise his head shouting, his face turning red, his voice somewhat altered from before.

"Scum, look up and see who I am! You’re pretending to be Ding Wei, do you think you’re as despicable as he is? Ah, where is that vermin, let him come out to die!"

Yang Xinqi stepped on the man’s back, his face icy cold.

In the darkness, Liu Yao pulled a face, mimicking Yang Xinqi’s words, with a carefree demeanor that left Zhang Su quite helpless, this guy indeed had a good mindset.

The man craned his neck hard as instructed, but still couldn’t see anyone, so he wriggled around, tilting his eyes up as much as he could to barely make out the man’s cheek, his face involuntarily twitched: "You, you’re Apocalypse Corps’ Yang, Director Yang?"

"You’re quite polite, know to call me Director Yang, no use, even if you call me grandpa now it’s no good!"

With that, Yang Xinqi kicked him on the head, though unbeknownst to him, the man merely forgot his name temporarily, using his usual title out of habit.

"Brother Su, this bastard isn’t even Ding Wei!"

Yang Xinqi said, giving the man another kick.

"I noticed as soon as they came, these are just my tossed-away tricks." Zhang Su shrugged, scanning the crowd, Ding Wei must be hiding somewhere among them planning to make a move!

"Hey hey, hello?"

Zhang Su pulled out the walkie-talkie used to contact Ding Wei, and just as he began speaking, the pocket of the man on the ground emitted sounds, unexpectedly his walkie-talkie handed to his underlings, indicating some other plan.

"Where did your leader go?"

Zhang Su asked.

No response...

"Brother Su, these guys are beyond redemption, I plead to use their lives to honor our fallen brothers!"

The grudge between Yang Xinqi and Absolute Justice couldn’t be reconciled anymore, pointing to the group on the ground, speaking righteously indignant.

"No no... brothers, we are merely coerced by them, not on the same side as them!"

"That’s right, great sirs, spare us, Absolute Justice doesn’t treat us as human, we have a deep vendetta with them!"

"You treacherous bastards, following us like dogs, flipping so quickly, screw you!"

"Shut up, following you is a load of nonsense, look at what treacherous acts you’ve committed, using how many brothers and sisters to feed the zombies just to escape, I can’t even bear to recall your misdeeds, I feel guilty that I’m still alive!"

"We know Ding Wei’s whereabouts, spare us, we want to defect!"

Hearing about being executed as some kind of tribute, Absolute Justice members clamored, making the Lego Mall lively, many heads popped out to watch the spectacle.
