Apocalypse Rebirth: Making Billions With My Fortune-Telling Skill
Chapter 324: I want all of you to be there-Because I Like All Of You
A furious, chaotic argument erupted instantly between the three men, their towering frames blocking the warm light of the chandelier as accusations, threats, and territorial posturing echoed sharply through the room.
Beside the sofa, Samuel stood completely still. He stepped an inch closer to April, his eyes fixed on the commotion, his presence a calm, protective shield.
"Miss April," Samuel murmured softly, leaning down near her ear so only she could hear him. "If you wish for me to remove them or clear the room, you only need to say the word."
April let out a slow, heavy sigh, resting her chin in her hand as she watched the chaos unfold. Samuel was ready to execute her exact command the second she gave it, but at that moment, her mind was genuinely stumped.
The air in the room was suffocatingly tense, the loud, aggressive shouting between Nat, Xavier, and Alexander bouncing sharply off the high ceilings.
April finally stood up slowly from the chair, she didn’t bother raising her voice to match theirs. Instead, she brought her hands together, letting out a sharp, crisp clap that echoed clearly through the room.
"Can you listen to me now?" April asked, her tone entirely flat, yet carrying an immediate, unshakeable authority.
The argument snapped shut instantly. All three towering men froze, turning their heads in unison to look down at her.
"I feel exhausted having to watch you all argue all the time," April said, crossing her arms as her eyes scanned their faces. "Don’t you ever get tired?"
Xavier cleared his throat, adjusting the lapel of his coat as a subtle, awkward flush rose up his neck. Alexander lightly scratched the side of his nose, his sharp eyes flicking briefly toward the floor, while Nat merely grunted, shifting his broad weight from one foot to the other.
How could they get tired when every single one of them was fighting to win? Giving an inch meant losing her to someone else, and none of them were built to surrender.
"Regardless," April continued smoothly, her logical mind taking total command of the room, "I still have something important to say. My period has officially ended, and as we all know, this has been a long-awaited moment. I want to have sex and lose my virginity."
The quiet that followed was absolute.
It felt as though the very air had been sucked out of the grand living room. Xavier’s breath hitched violently in his throat, his dark eyes widening in sheer, unadulterated shock. Alexander completely froze mid-gesture, his usual suave composure shattering into stunned stillness. Nat’s eyes flared with a sudden, scorching heat, his jaw clenching so hard a muscle twitched violently along his cheek.
Their minds raced in a chaotic frenzy. Who is she choosing?
Each of them prepared themselves for the blow—expecting her to point a finger, to command two of them to turn around, walk out the door, and leave her alone with the winner. They braced for the bitter, gut-wrenching ache of being set aside, or chosen.
April looked at their tense, desperate expressions and spoke again, her voice soft, direct, and completely devoid of deceit.
"And I want all of you to be there," April announced calmly. "Because I like all of you."
Xavier blinked, completely stunned. Alexander’s lips parted in pure disbelief but no word came out, while Nat let out a rough, choked exhale, as if his brain had physically stalled trying to process her words.
"I don’t want to be biased or make anyone feel left out," April explained, her tone making the extraordinary statement sound entirely reasonable. "However, mechanically speaking, only one of you can do the actual initiation first."
She turned her gaze directly onto Xavier, her eyes softening with a quiet, undeniable warmth.
"Xavier was the first person to stand by me in this world, even if it was on mutual terms. He is the first man I approached," April said softly, her words carrying absolute weight. "He laid the foundation of my trust, and my body feels naturally most drawn towards him to begin this process. So... I want Xavier to be my first, the one to take my virginity." her words came out like a whisper but they all heard it.
Xavier felt as though his heart had stopped beating entirely. A wave of profound, overwhelming emotion crashed over him, his throat working tightly as he stared at her, utterly speechless. The quiet, long-suffering loyalty he had given her—the endless nights of holding back, protecting her, and placing her safety above his own desires—had been recognized.
Nat’s jaw locked tight. He folded his broad arms over his massive chest, letting out a heavy, bitter scoff as he looked away.
"To think after all that," Nat growled, his raspy voice thick with reluctant acceptance, "I’d lose to the cowardly Saint. Pathetic."
He paused, shifting his eyes back to April, his expression softening into a dark, crooked smirk.
"But fine. This is one defeat I won’t hold a grudge against." He stepped forward, his eyes glinting with a dangerous, possessive heat. "On one condition, sweetheart. I get to go next."
Alexander narrowed his sharp eyes, his posture straightening as he prepared to interject. "Now wait a moment, Collins. It’s her very first time. Wouldn’t taking two of us back-to-back be far too much physical strain on her body?"
April looked at Alexander, her expression as calm and practical as ever.
"It’s fine," April countered smoothly. "I can use my revitalization water to restore my physical strength and heal my body immediately after the first round."
She looked between the three of them, her dark eyes completely honest, filled with a sweet, genuine effort that hit every single one of them straight in the chest.
"I just want to be... fair to all of you, especially when I know you all feel so strongly about me."
The simple, earnest confession melted whatever lingering bitterness remained in the room. Her words tugged fiercely at their hearts—seeing how hard her mind was working to balance their overwhelming, chaotic feelings for her. None of them had the heart to push her or complain any further.
Beside the couch, Samuel remained flawlessly composed. He adjusted the bridge of his glasses with a single finger, his dark eyes tracking the three men with clinical authority.
"If this arrangement has been finalized by Miss April," Samuel interjected, his smooth voice cutting through the room with absolute poise, "then we shall proceed immediately."
He turned to look directly at Nat and Alexander, his gaze dropping into an icy, protective glare.
"However, as her High Steward, I must issue a stern reminder. Master Collins, you will refrain from your usual unrefined, barbarian force. Master Reed, ensure adequate preparation before proceeding. I will be standing by the door. If I hear Miss April express even a single fraction of genuine physical pain... I will intervene without hesitation."
Nat let out a low, dark chuckle, running a heavy hand through his red hair as he followed April toward the stairs. "Don’t worry. We’re going to treat her like absolute royalty."
