Apocalypse Beast Supplier: Only I Sell God-Tier Beasts
Chapter 165: Yellow-Eyed Entity
Terrence had shown his physical capabilities since then. His training and being away from society had truly borne fruit.
Well, it wasn’t technically disconnected training, since he would go on journeys from time to time and return to supplement the shop with his catches, but Terrence had never wasted a single moment on leisure. He made sure to rigorously train his own body without relying too heavily on Skill Share.
However, given how tight the situation was becoming, he didn’t have a choice but to activate Skill Share once again.
"This sure is tough..." Terrence mumbled, his voice cutting through the heavy ozone lingering in the damp air. "I wonder what you’re after by locking up my people. If you don’t release them, I’ll be left with no choice but to destroy this whole subterranean sector."
Terrence was deadly serious now, and the hidden entity in the distance could clearly sense the sudden shift in his aura.
Bored and feeling completely unamused by what Terrence had just threatened, the ancient entity stood up from his bed of dark stone and dashed toward where Terrence stood.
Within a split second, after navigating a series of sharp subterranean turns at blinding speed, he materialized directly before Terrence.
And his presence was no joke.
Terrence instantly felt the sudden change in the surrounding air, as if an invisible hand were squeezing his throat. Just a few paces away from him stood a far stronger entity—someone probably much stronger than him, or at least of a caliber unlike anyone he had ever faced before.
’He is ridiculously fast. I can’t even tell what kind of beast contract he holds,’ Terrence thought, his eyes narrowing as his mind immediately began calculating and creating a game plan at the back of his head.
The ancient dweller shifted his weight, his tattered robes swaying as his glowing yellow eyes locked onto Terrence like a predator sizing up prey.
"Surface dweller," the entity spoke, his voice sounding like two grinding stones echoing through the damp tunnel. "What is your purpose in intruding? State it before I turn your blood into ash."
Terrence didn’t flinch, standing his ground as dark mist began to coil tightly around his arms.
’Surface dweller? Like he lives in underground cell? What a shut-in.’
"I’m here to get back my people," Terrence replied coldly. "They were locked up against their will in these underground cells, and I’m taking them home."
The yellow-eyed dweller let out a low, raspy chuckle that sent a shiver down the corridor.
"Your people?" the dweller scoffed, crackling arcs of pale-yellow lightning flickering across his fingertips. "They are mine. I am holding them and to be honest, I don’t think your purpose here will be served. If you wish to live, leave, but if you have other purpose, then I am left with no choice but to turn you into ash. I don’t need another headache test subject."
Terrence couldn’t understand what the entity was saying. He couldn’t properly see his overall appearance, but his form was so clear to him like a silhouette. This supposed to be guard to the cell is bulky.
"Are you a guard here?"
"Guard... you could say that. I guard the entrance to world. And you obviously don’t belong here."
Terrence couldn’t help but be more confused but enough with it, he didn’t care at all.
Without even a warn, Terrence turned into a blur and raised his fist against the entity.
Intending to ram the face of the entity, Terrence was left with pushing himself against the air. He hit no one, only losing a balance a little after a failed attack.
"I see... you surface dwellers are really not to be trusted. You have given these people, now you are taking them back. I see..."
"Because... they are not yours!"
Terrence dashed back, now, he was ahead of the entity. Just behind him was the full entrance to the cell where his people where locked up and he only need Stan to escape and help others while he deal with this entity.
He wasn’t sure if he could defeat him in this tight space and clearly using any fire abilities with Avery would just be a death wish where oxygen lacked.
So, Terrence started running away, following the path Noir had prepared for him. To finally let his people escape.
But, Terrence had underestimated his foe this time. When he thought he could outrun him, the entity immediately appeared before him, blocking his path.
So... he had no other choice but to lock in! He had to fight!
Terrence shook his head as he started controlling the connection and energy he had shared with Noir.
[Dark Environment has amplified the Effects of Skill Share with Noir.]
Terrence arms started being covered with black metallic like particles. Soon, becoming a giant gauntlent on both his arms.
Slowly, his legs had boots and his whole body was covered in a dark iron armor.
[You have used Transfiguration I: Body Armor.]
"This will be the debut for this one." Terrence said before disappearing in a lighting speed, or even faster as his fist connected with the entity.
The impact threw the entity but Terrence hadn’t let the momentum to die. With his other arm controlling a shadow Noir shared, like a whip, it coiled around the thick ankles of the entity then Terrence burst forward, dragging the entity against its will.
Terrence then shorted the whip, slamming the entity up and down in this underground space. Within all direction, the entity had been slammed to created huge crater of impact.
BANG! BANG! PING!
In a supersonic speed, Terrence had appeared in different angle of the entity, connecting his fist as it just absorbed all impact helplessly.
But then...
TAK! TAK! TAK!
"You are enjoying too much."
Terrence’s eyes wavered as the entity caught his fist then in an instant, the armor he created were snapped into pieces when it gripped to his gauntlet.
He couldn’t swallow properly.
’What?!’
