Chapter 1679: The Fight Is On

I exited the essence chamber. Then I was greeted with the sound of a battle alarm. If I had continued to stay inside the essence chamber, I would have missed it.

Then I quickly changed into a new uniform and left the room through the window. I started flying toward the plains.

"It’s going to be another good day," the ancient spirit said.

Hearing that, my lips turned upward. I continued flying toward the plains. On the way, I saw many warriors heading in the same direction.

So, I wasn’t late. It didn’t take long for me to reach the destination. I saw many space cracks appear in the sky. I let the others go inside first.

One after another, the Red Mark Warriors rushed toward the space cracks. They entered the space cracks one by one. I waited for my turn to come.

Soon, everyone entered the space cracks. The cracks closed one after another. It didn’t take long for the other space cracks to close.

Then I waited for mine to appear. Just as I was staring into the empty space, a massive space crack appeared with a booming sound.

A space crack appeared in midair all of a sudden. The size of the space crack was enormous. The ancient spirit reminded me to get inside.

In a flash, I moved closer to the space crack. The next second, I entered the crack and disappeared into it.

I could feel my body descending. In a flash, I landed on the ground.

The shock wave spread across the area. The ancient spirit then checked the surroundings.

It found the same dense green vegetation around me. The ancient spirit then began to guide me.

After passing through the green vegetation, I arrived at an empty clearing. It was the first time I had seen such flat ground.

I didn’t know whether any foreign creatures were hiding here.

I heard a sonic boom in midair. I saw nothing until a winged creature appeared in a flash.

Seeing that, my eyes gleamed. The winged creature was large. I was seeing such a large creature for the first time.

Seeing that the foreign creature was going to find me soon, I brought out the white bone staff. I held it in my hand and wrapped it in arcs of lightning.

On the other hand, the winged foreign creature was confused. It was supposed to enter the main battlefield, but it had ended up here all of a sudden.

The next moment, it noticed the presence of the human warrior. The creature was enraged. It thought the disgusting humans must have done something.

It took off from the spot at high speed. It wanted to rip the human apart because it saw his disgusting aura. The crimson aura was the sign of a Red Mark Warrior.

It assumed they were on a real battlefield as well.

On the other hand, I gripped the white bone staff tightly.

Then I struck quickly. The strike, carrying immense power, made contact with the flying body of the creature.

A deafening noise rang out. The immense lightning power broke through the defenses of its body. It penetrated through the wound and scorched its internal organs.

The massive body of the creature was covered in lightning webs. Smoke began rising from its body.

The huge flying creature spiraled downward before crashing onto the ground. The impact was heavy. The shock wave spread outward.

It uprooted the surrounding vegetation. In the blink of an eye, the shock wave reached me, but I withstood the force.

The impact was unable to do anything to me. Next, I walked up to the foreign creature. I saw that it was struggling for its life. Vitality was slipping away from its body.

It didn’t take long for the foreign creature to die. It drew its last breath. Seeing that, I heaved a sigh of relief. I had been worried that it might make a desperate last-minute attack.

Next, I walked past the foreign creature’s corpse. I spread my mental sense across the area. I didn’t sense anything. Seeing that, I decided to walk further.

Not long after, I came across another creature. It was hiding behind the bushes. It had a strangely flat body, which was well-suited for hiding in this terrain.

Boom!

"Human, you should die!" the creature hissed before shooting a black streak of energy at me.

Swoosh!

I was very well aware of the dark streak of energy; it carried dark origin power.

I swung the bone staff at the black streak of energy.

A huge explosion occurred at the point of contact. The shock wave spread outward. The next moment, the foreign creature leaped forward.

Boom!

Seeing that, I swung the staff at the creature again. The strike carried purple lightning power that tore through its body.

The lightning spread further across its body. It entered the wounds and began destroying its internal organs. The creature let out a strange cry.

As time passed, the creature’s vitality continued to slip away. Seeing that, I unleashed more strikes upon its body again and again. I wanted the creature dead.

Boom!

One after another, the deadly strikes claimed the life of the creature. The strangely shaped creature never realized how it died.

I ended its life in just a few minutes.

Next, I spent time searching for other creatures. I quickly came across more and used the same white bone staff to finish them.

The Red Mark-level lightning power was truly formidable. I didn’t break a sweat against these foreign creatures, as they were far below the level of elite foes.

The ancient spirit kept a close watch on the surroundings, refusing to let down its guard even if the young man did. It was vigilant.
