Chapter 1533: This Was Undoubtedly a Blow to Him

Feng Huaijin thought of his son struggling in another world, and a mocking cold smile appeared at the corner of his lips.

Su Li let out a long breath of relief; it was finally over. Even though Mo Si Huang sat across without saying a word, she felt uneasy chatting with Feng Huaijin.

They each took a copy of the report, and Su Li eagerly peered over Feng Huaijin’s shoulder, seeing the test result showing no blood relation and finally felt the weight lifted off her heart.

Sure enough, there’s no relation to the Feng Family; Du Lu wasn’t lying.

Feng Huaijin held the test report and coldly stared at Mo Si Huang: “See the results? Don’t associate with anyone from the Feng Family anymore.”

Mo Si Huang stared fixedly at the examination report, his face gradually turned pale, his eyes deep, suddenly asking: “… You always knew?”

Mo Si Huang was genuinely surprised; he couldn’t believe that the test report showed he wasn’t biologically related to Feng Huaijin, definitely not a child of the Feng Family.

Su Li nodded.

Du Lu admitted personally that she had a child with another man after getting involved with Father Feng and, fearing his anger, had to leave the baby at the orphanage’s doorstep.

Mo Si Huang took off his sunglasses, and those phoenix eyes, for the first time today, faced Su Li directly. They showed complications, with an indescribable meaning, his voice hoarse and dark to the extreme: “So… why didn’t you tell me on New Year’s Eve?”

Su Li remained silent.

Mo Si Huang’s hand holding the test report was steady, but his clear voice unconsciously trembled: “Were you thinking… if I mistakenly believe I’m one of the Feng Family’s children, that this misunderstanding could continue, since it’s better than… discovering that I have no known father?”

He was such a proud and self-respecting man, how could he possibly bear knowing that his mother was someone’s mistress and had him with another man? He might never find that so-called biological father, which would undoubtedly be a blow to him.
