Chapter 573: Home Sweet Home.

Leo and Lily took the commercial vehicle back home. The little goblin was going through the various cars they had on the catalogue. She was going to pick a car, had her father tune it and then paint it pink before they took it out to the north.

Leo shook his head, and after a couple of hours, they reached the main gate, and Kyle opened the gate. Lily smiled and greeted the man before she moved in with a quick few steps. She skipped around the garden while singing phonetics with a silly grin, leaving her servant in the back to carry the luggage.

After he entered the living room, he found Fragrance sitting on the couch with a big tub of ice cream in her lap, she was eating it with one spoonful at a time, and her eyes seemed to be red. Leo raised his brows and asked, "Broke up again?"

Fragrance glared at him and nodded forcefully before she said, "It’s his misfortune. I am such a good girl that he doesn’t deserve me."

The man chuckled and asked, "Where did Lily go?"

Fragrance gestured with the spoon, and Leo nodded, before he also headed upstairs but he didn’t forget to pat his sister on the head once gently. She had been through bad relationships, and one of them was even traumatic, but she has not lost her belief in love. So she was looking for it actively, but cautiously. Although the falling out with someone you invested your emotions in still caused her to feel upset.

Fragrance froze for a second before she calmed down and asked, "Where is my gift? Your daughter also left me hanging."

Leo smiled and replied, "How about you come upstairs and I will show you the gift? Eating so much ice cream alone will give you a runny nose tomorrow."

Fragrance snorted, but she put the ice cream tub away, wiped her mouth with a tissue and followed him upstairs with her head down. She was not heart broken just upset that her relationship didn’t go the way she wanted it to be, but she knew that it was a blessing in disguise that it ended early than late.

She followed the young man upstairs and they were headed to the twin’s room. As they reached the place, they could hear Lily chatting away with the twins from the corridor, and the twins were also replying with great enthusiasm.

When Leo entered the room, and saw the twins, his heart was about to explode, he approached the twins who were standing at the edge of their cradle. He picked up both of them in one straight scoop. Elle and Jules also seemed to have missed him and they hugged him tightly before Leo took a deep breath and replied, "I missed you both."

The little ones didn’t have much skill to express what they were thinking about. However, they held him very tightly as if he was going disappear again. Elle raised her head and gently asked, "Take Elle too? Next time?"

The young man sighed, he kissed the two of them on their cheeks and said, "You will catch cold if you rush outside. How about I take you out within the city?"

Elle was reluctant but she agreed, and Jules asked, "Baba, car?"

Leo smiled and shook his head as he understood that his son was trying to imply that he would be taking them out to the hangar and tune the car, but Leo was not going to do anything like this, he was going to take them out to the park and show them some landmark places. Lily would be going to school, so while he felt petty, but he would enjoy his time with the two little darlings.

Elle looked at Leo for a prolonged moment, and after confirming that the man was sincere, she leaned in to kiss his cheeks. Then the five of them sat down to open the gifts. Lily was incharge, she gave Elena a small bird shaped clay whistle, and then she gave Julian a small cart that was also made from clay.

The two toys were small enough to fit their palms, and since they were made of clay, it would not affect the children anyhow. The little ones liked the toys, Leo taught them how to play with it, when Lily opened another parcel covered with brown paper and gave Fragrance a dress.

Lily said, "This would look very good if you go to the pub. I suggest you go out, get some drinks, and then party a little to lift up your damp spirit."

Fragrance flicked the forehead of the little goblin with her finger, and asked, "Who told you I have a damp spirit?"

Lily shrugged and replied, while rubbing her forehead, "The dozen tissues on the couch and that snotty nose."

Leo almost laughed out loud at this, but he turned to look at the little girl who had already been captured by her aunt and was going through some agonizing ritual of punishment.

In the evening, Anastasia came back home, she hugged Lily and pampered her a lot. The old lady missed her eldest granddaughter because while the twins were lovely, they were not naughty and Lily was very naughty and would pull some tricks that would keep her amused. So, when the girl was not home she did find it a little boring.

Snow also came back home early, and the family had a good time. After dinner, the twins clung onto Leo and the couple took them to the master bedroom. They were busy playing with Leo for the whole day, so they fell asleep in his arms rather quickly. Snow watched it with a smile, and then she asked, "What did you do to Rama?"

Leo raised his brow and Snow said, "He had not left office for three days, and has been working on something like crazy."

Leo shook his head and replied, "It is only a project, he is working up on a prototype I guess."

Snow nodded and fell silent. She was looking at him and Leo was looking at her, he could tell what was going on, and then after a few moments he placed the twins on the bed, making sure they are all the care and then he turned to do some really sneaky things with his wife, who had missed him. The whole sneaky scene played for more than an hour, but after the first few minutes, they shifted to the walk in closet, because it was too shameless to be next to the children.

The next morning, Lily got ready and carried a big bag of gifts to the school. Fragrance took it upon herself to drop the little goblin with the guards in tow. While Leo prepared breakfast for the family and when the rest of the adults went out for their work, Leo picked up the twins in a sling carrier and then took them to the hardware store.

He bought a lot of things, and Jules and Elena asked him some questions. Leo answered, the trio attracted a lot of gazes from around the people in the store, but none of them came over to disturb them. Leo smiled and greeted the people with a nod from a distance to be polite though.

Finally, when they came back home, Elena asked, "Baba, why this things?"

Leo rubbed her little nose with the tip of his finger, and corrected her sentence lightly before he said, "We will make a earth stove, outside the house, and then we will make a stone stove as well. They will work with solar energy."

Julian tilted his head and asked, "Solar energy?"

Leo sat down and said, "It is the energy of the sunlight. It is natural, and does not create any pollution. You will learn about it when you grow up a little more."
