All My Summons Become Divine Girls

Chapter 651: The Unclaimed Kingdom

Below the central viaduct arch, dust rose in pale clouds as an elite choral assault detachment marched down the ravine.

A teamster urged the final civilian wagon through the gorge while the choral soldiers advanced toward the space it crossed a breath earlier.

A wind whipped through the rocky corridor, carrying the distant rumble of siege engines from the far side of the valley.

At the head of the enemy column marched a towering divine legate clad in silver plate, his broadsword crackling with royal compulsion.

Behind him marched twenty armored soldiers bearing choral pennants, their steps stamping in rigid unison against the stones.

Didi stood upon the packed trail fifty yards ahead of the retreating refugees, her rapier held loose at her right side.

Six sapphire Shards hovered in a gentle crescent behind her shoulders, their crystalline light cutting through the rising dust.

An elderly weaver pushed an overloaded handcart past her, pausing for a moment to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

"Young lady, you should run with us," the weaver wheezed, glancing back with terror at the approaching silver vanguard.

"Those legates do not negotiate with renegades," the weaver pleaded. "They will cut down anyone who stands in the roadway."

"Keep moving south toward the friendly redoubts," she replied, offering the old man a calm, reassuring smile.

"This road belongs to the people who walk it, not the choir."

The legate halted forty paces away, planting the tip of his massive broadsword into the cracked gravel of the gorge.

"Hear the sovereign decree of the choral throne!" the legate bellowed, his voice echoing off the sheer cliffs like rolling thunder.

"Every mortal bloodline born under this sky belongs to heaven, and by that ancient covenant your bodies shall shield this vanguard!"

A brilliant golden crest blazed upon the canyon walls, casting an invisible net of bloodline compulsion toward the fleeing civilians.

Dozens of refugees cried out in agony, their limbs freezing mid-stride as the ancient royal claim seized their nerves.

"Father, I cannot move!" a young girl screamed, falling forward into the dirt as her muscles locked rigid.

"My hands... my hands are turning toward the swords!" an elderly teamster wept, struggling in vain against the unseen chains.

"Stand behind me and do not fear," Didi called out, her voice calm, clear, and ringing across the gorge like a silver bell.

She did not demand that they pledge fealty to her house, nor did she ask for their prayers or obedience.

She stepped forward onto the center of the road, facing the advancing legate with eyes that held no doubt or hesitation.

’True protection asks for nothing in return,’ she thought, remembering the teamsters who walked past her without gratitude.

’A sovereign shield is given freely, or it is not protection at all.’

Within her soul core, a sudden chime echoed, purer and deeper than any resonance she possessed before.

A seventh sapphire Shard condensed from the ambient frost, taking its place at the apex of her rotating crescent.

A circle of pale blue light expanded across the dirt road, sweeping past the frozen refugees and enveloping the gorge.

The golden crest on the canyon walls flickered violently, then shattered into harmless flecks of fading light.

Every citizen in the pass gasped as the invisible chains snapped, their limbs regaining complete freedom of motion.

"The royal claim... it broke!" a teamster yelled, scrambling to his feet and helping his family toward the rear.

"How can this be?" the legate roared, his eyes bulging with disbelief as his broadsword dropped an inch.

"No mortal domain can sever the ancestral bloodline covenant of heaven!"

"This is not a mortal domain," she answered, stepping across the boundary line with swift, effortless steps.

"Within the Unclaimed Kingdom, no tyrant owns another soul, and no decree can buy what is not willingly given."

"Die, arrogant child!" the legate snarled, lunging forward with a vicious downward slash that split the canyon stones.

The Unclaimed Kingdom nullified all divine ownership and command spells, but it did not soften physical blade strikes.

Didi met the brutal strike without flinching, pivoting on the balls of her feet as she swept her frost rapier upward.

The tip of her rapier caught the broadsword along its fuller, sliding the massive weapon harmlessly into the rocky dirt.

The legate snarled in frustration, reversing his grip to drive a vicious pommel strike toward her jaw.

She ducked beneath the swing with practiced ease, her seven Shards converging in a tight spiral around her left palm.

"Wait—stop!" the legate choked out, catching sight of the blinding sapphire brilliance forming around her fingers.

She drove her open palm into his breastplate, releasing the concentrated authority of Crowned Frost directly into his core.

A concussive shockwave of azure frost blasted through his armor, shattering his energy conduits and throwing him backward into the boulders.

The legate crashed into the cliffside, his weapon tumbling from numb fingers as a casing of solid ice locked him against the stone.

The remaining choral vanguards backed away in sheer terror, dropping their weapons and fleeing in full panic back toward the viaduct.

Didi stood tall in the center of the road, her seven Shards rotating gently in an unbroken circle of sovereign majesty.

High on the central ridge, Hajin’s original body and his two clones continued their tracing uninterrupted, anchored by her absolute defense.

The morning wind carried the distant rumble of the three-point network locking into place, while the civilians cheered her name from the southern pass.

"Thank you, Lady Didi!" the elderly weaver shouted from the ridge, waving his hat with tears streaming down his cheeks.

"We will never forget who saved our children today!" several mothers cried, hurrying their carts through the open defile.

She bowed her head politely toward the departing crowd, keeping her rapier poised in case another enemy scout approached the gorge.

High above the mountain pass, the celestial broadcast interface lit up with a blinding cascade of golden donations.

[ Seoul_Tactician: "Seventh Shard active! The Unclaimed Kingdom has finally reached the field!" ]

[ StarlightScholar: "’Within the Unclaimed Kingdom, no tyrant owns another soul!’ Tell him again, Hajin!" ]

[ HearthKeeper: "She protected them without asking for a single oath of fealty! Look at how bright her seven Shards shine!" ]

[ IronVanguard: "Nullifying royal bloodline commands while handling raw physical blades with pure martial parrying... she is a monster!" ]

[ ShadowMage44: "Three unassigned points banked! No free refill, just pure earned progression! Hajin’s tracing window is completely secured!" ]

[ NewViewer_02: "The way she parried that massive broadsword was insane! Didi is officially top tier!" ]

[ TacticalNerd: "The command seam is open and Hajin still has No Foreign Heaven. Drop it now!" ]

[ CringeSlayer91: "That legate thought his fancy ancestral registry gave him supreme authority over people, then ate an ice palm to the face!" ]

Didi looked back over her shoulder, watching the last wagon roll safely across the boundary line into the southern redoubts.

Didi asked the last driver to count the children under the wagon awning before she waved the caravan through.

"All present," the woman answered, lifting a small hand into view.

Only then did Didi turn back toward the empty road and the altar beyond it.

Her kingdom required no throne, and the path to the final altar was now completely cleared for her summoner.
