Alien Species Invasion? I Kill Them Back.
Chapter 204 - 203: Two Bosses
Chapter 204: Chapter 203: Two Bosses
A truck!
The truck was parked on the main road right in front of the KTV!
Huangfu Miaomiao was ecstatic! She made a mad dash, hugging the side of the truck’s cargo container and scrambling inside!
Seeing the familiar faces inside, she let out a wail and threw herself into Feng Ling’s arms, crying, "I was scared to death!"
Feng Ling was a little amused. "Looked to me like you were having a grand time strolling through those pipes."
Huangfu Miaomiao: "Waaaaah!"
She was too scared to speak.
"Feng Ling..." Xu Yiming couldn’t help but remind them that now wasn’t the time for chatter. Because at this very moment, they were surrounded by Alien Species.
He was incredibly thankful he’d hidden in the cargo container immediately after parking. If he had stayed in the driver’s seat, the Alien Species would have probably killed him by now.
Over forty people had the truck completely surrounded.
At first glance, the scene looked like a midnight brawl between some unscrupulous street punks.
But some of them had already transformed, sprouting insect-like appendages or bestial bodies, so it was clearly not that simple.
Inside the KTV’s main lobby, some people were trembling in fear, while others were still drinking and singing their hearts out in private rooms, the deafening music drowning out the chaos outside.
Outside the KTV’s main entrance, the players didn’t make any rash moves.
They cautiously surrounded the truck, their eyes fixed on the cargo container. Then their gazes shifted, sizing up their companions as if trying to choose the best person to open the door.
No one wanted to be the one to stick their neck out.
It was just a game, after all. No matter what happened, their own points and lives were what mattered most.
"That guy’s in there. Use your Skills to see if there’s an ambush in the container."
"All I know is that there’s something alive in the container. Could be people, could be animals..."
"Is no one brave enough to open the door? Then let’s just set the truck on fire, haha! Who cares what’s inside? We’ll barbecue everything!"
"Hey, weren’t you just bragging about how you’re strong enough to crush rocks? If you’re so tough, why don’t you try crushing this truck flat?"
"Let’s leave this chance to shine to the Star Association. We shouldn’t steal their thunder."
The players chatted back and forth, their conversation peppered with jokes and probing remarks.
The atmosphere was relaxed.
Of course they felt relaxed.
With so many companions around, they were confident they could handle whatever was in the truck.
Besides, it was common knowledge that the members of the Star Association were experts among the players.
Inside the cargo container, Huangfu Miaomiao huddled nervously against Feng Ling, panicked and helpless.
’Maybe after escaping the KTV, I should have used my form’s advantage to lead the players somewhere else. If I had, we wouldn’t be surrounded by so many of them now.’
Xu Yiming also had the feeling that disaster was imminent, that his death was near.
Although he knew Feng Ling was powerful enough to take on a Pollution Body single-handedly, Alien Species were different.
Alien Species possessed intelligence. They could think like humans, which made fighting them not only more dangerous, but also more prone to complications and surprises.
"Feng Ling..." Xu Yiming swallowed nervously. "What do we do now?"
"No rush," Feng Ling said, pulling out her phone. "I’m going to send Han Xu a message first."
Xu Yiming nodded grimly. ’Right, we should call for backup.’
"I’ve discovered Alien Species at the entrance of Haoge KTV, over 40 of them. To avoid friendly fire, please have the night patrol team stay as far away from this area as possible," Feng Ling recited as she typed the message.
Xu Yiming: "..."
Feng Ling glanced at him out of the corner of her eye. "What’s wrong?"
Xu Yiming asked, a little lost, "Aren’t... aren’t you going to ask for reinforcements?"
The word "reinforcements" immediately made Feng Ling think of that time in Daling Forest, when Wen Xiuyan and Liang Jiaqin had run back to help, preventing her from unleashing her Spiritual Suppression as she pleased.
’How should I put it...?’
’Well, it’s the thought that counts.’
BANG! BANG!
The truck was suddenly struck twice in quick succession!
Inside, Ye Zheng grew even more agitated, unable to suppress the low growl rumbling in his throat.
Feng Ling looked toward the side of the container and saw that both corners had been pierced, as if bitten by some creature.
Fangs punched through the aluminum alloy. As the attacker exerted its strength, the side wall of the container was peeled upward like an egg roll—
And just like that, the people inside were completely exposed to the players’ view.
The entire area fell silent.
A bright red Boss marker, glaringly obvious, reflected in every player’s eyes.
"Fuck!"
"It’s a hidden Boss and a Lord Boss!—"
Someone cursed, and then everyone scattered and fled! They had no intention of fighting back at all!
Because no player would ever fight a Boss unprepared.
Let alone fight two Bosses unprepared!
The Angel’s rage was now unstoppable. With a burst of bloodlust, Ye Zheng dove out like the Death God, launching a hate-fueled attack on the Alien Species!
As his tattered wings beat, deadly scale powder filled the air.
Feng Ling, with a hint of disgust, picked up a mask and put it on both herself and Huangfu Miaomiao. She then instructed Xu Yiming to look after Li Qing and not to get out of the truck.
Xu Yiming thought: ’If I’m going to die, I’ll die in this truck.’
Because his legs had turned to jelly!
And it wasn’t just his legs; the fleeing players’ legs were weak too!
Feng Ling was the only person there who could withstand Ye Zheng’s spiritual power and deadly poison.
Feng Ling leaped from the truck, cracked her neck, and slowly flexed her wrists. Her gaze swept over the dismembered limbs scattered on the ground—
Ye Zheng was being too reckless. This wasn’t killing; it was venting.
Some had their stomachs slit open, others had their hearts and lungs gouged out. There were torn-off thighs and pierced skulls.
Because he was so fast, and because most of the players were in a state of terror, they lost their lives before they even had a chance to use their Card Abilities.
The players who could still move, however sluggishly, were all high-Level players capable of resisting the spiritual power.
Feng Ling noticed a few players who had fallen to the ground struggling to get up and escape. With a look of indifference, she activated her Spiritual Suppression.
With the two layers of suppression stacked, not a single player could move an inch.
Ye Zheng’s slaughter became even more frenzied!
Feng Ling spotted a familiar eye on a player’s corpse, nestled between the collarbones.
She was delighted. She reached out, tore the eye off, and strung it together with the other two she already had, like a collectible.
Then, remembering something, she turned and shouted to Ye Zheng, "Zhengzheng, stop killing! Leave a few alive, we still have to ask them riddles."
Ye Zheng didn’t listen. Kill, kill, kill!
Feng Ling rolled her eyes. "If another Squirrel pops out, you’ll behave."
Ye Zheng: "..."
He finally regained a sliver of his sanity.
Some of the corpses had already begun to precipitate Cards, one after another.
Feng Ling immediately shooed Ye Zheng away. "Back in the truck, back in the truck! Don’t touch a single one, or deleting those Cards before will have been for nothing."
Having vented his fury, Ye Zheng was much easier to communicate with. Although he looked indignant, he did as Feng Ling said and returned to the cargo container, which was now missing a wall.
The ground was a total wreck, with dismembered limbs and corpses lying haphazardly in pools of blood. Of the players who had been chatting so casually just moments ago, only a few were left alive.
Feng Ling walked through the pools of blood, scanning her surroundings, and finally stopped beside an extremely thin and tall woman.
The woman was using her body to shield a young man wearing a headscarf.
"Good," Feng Ling said with a smile. "There are two of them left alive."
