Age of Wizards: I Can Analyze All Things
Chapter 440 - 221: You Are Too Weak
Chapter 440: Chapter 221: You Are Too Weak
"Sorry, I was held up."
Pei Ze sounded somewhat apologetic.
’If I hadn’t been delayed refining the Power of Rules in the Thunder Elemental Half-Plane, I could have arrived at the Ancient Forest Plane sooner and this whole war could have been avoided.’
He hadn’t expected the alien insects’ offensive to be so swift; they had conquered more than half of the Ancient Forest Plane in no time.
’I guess their reputation as the Scourge of the Planes isn’t for nothing.’
"It’s fine. The important thing is that you’re here." Leiot seemed to laugh. "I’ll have to trouble you with what comes next."
Pei Ze glanced at it and stepped forward.
"Let me take you into the Wizard Tower first. You need to heal your wounds as soon as possible."
Leiot might have claimed to be fine, but Pei Ze’s Eye of Omniscience told him the tree’s condition was far from ideal.
’It probably worsened its injuries while fending off the swarm.’
Without waiting for Leiot to respond, Pei Ze reached out and placed his palm on the golden trunk.
Before his advancement to Elemental Mage, while he could perform the Teleportation Technique with a passenger, he could have never teleported something of Leiot’s immense size.
But things were different now. Between his own considerable power and the planar teleportation knowledge he had acquired from the Silver Moon Elves, his mastery of the Teleportation Technique had already surpassed that of most Level 4 Wizards.
Interplanar travel with Leiot in tow was still beyond his abilities, but teleporting within a single plane was effortless.
With a flash of light, the man and the tree instantly disappeared.
When they reappeared, they were in the Wizard Tower’s Ancient Tree Courtyard.
The area Pei Ze had chosen was the west side of the Ancient Tree Courtyard.
A dense forest had already been established here, with a wide, open space in the middle prepared just for Leiot.
With the appearance of the Golden Oak Tree, the last empty space in the forest was completely filled.
The entire forest trembled slightly, as if it had become a single entity. In an instant, the elemental energy in the air seemed to become much more active.
Leiot felt like a traveler who had walked for days in the desert and was suddenly submerged in a cool spring. It felt an invigorating surge of spirit and let out a long, comfortable sigh.
"Such dense Wood Elemental Energy!"
"And this forest... a large-scale Elemental Activity Array?"
Leiot looked at Pei Ze, who nodded slightly.
"That’s right. And you are the core of the Array."
Colossal plant lifeforms like the Golden Oak Tree often possess the innate ability to gather elemental energy and improve the environment around them.
To a certain extent, this was a natural spell-like ability they possessed.
Take the Golden Forest, for example. Over the years, Leiot’s very presence gradually transformed it into an elementally active region. This attracted a large number of Spiritual Life, eventually forming the nascent Spirit Realm.
Pei Ze had capitalized on this, setting up an Elemental Activity Array with Leiot as its core to accelerate this gradual transformation.
The Ancient Tree Courtyard was already rich in Wood Elemental Energy. With the addition of the Elemental Activity Array, it wouldn’t be long before this forest became another Golden Forest.
"Thank you!" Leiot thanked Pei Ze sincerely.
Their agreement was only for Pei Ze to help them leave the Ancient Forest Plane. The fact that he had also prepared such a perfect new home for them made Leiot deeply grateful.
Pei Ze waved his hand. "Just focus on recovering. I’ll handle the migration of the others."
Leiot shook its canopy, as if nodding.
Just by being here for a short while, it felt the pain from its injuries ease considerably.
It felt that it wouldn’t take long to heal completely.
Leaving the Wizard Tower, Pei Ze returned outside.
The Wizard Tower had already landed on the ground. Clay Golems were continuously carrying various alien insect materials and Insect Crystals into the tower.
Pei Ze took in the sight, and his mood brightened considerably.
’Honestly, I was pretty lucky this time. I just happened to run into an Alien Insect Race that was already severely weakened. That’s the only reason I could annihilate them.’
’Otherwise, a typical Alien Insect Race would number in the millions at least. Against that, I could only have hoped to repel them on my own. Annihilation would have been out of the question.’
’Much less destroying an Alien Insect Nest.’
’If alien insects were that easy to deal with, they wouldn’t have such a fearsome reputation throughout the Multiverse.’
"The carcass of the Alien Insect Nest, plus all these materials, should sell for five hundred thousand Magic Crystal Stones without a problem."
"This sum is enough for me to build six or seven complete Golem Legions."
Pei Ze felt a surge of joy.
’I have to admit, this was a massive haul.’
’The only cost was a completely depleted Element Pool and most of my energy reserves. It’ll take some time to build that back up.’
’On top of that, the Thunder God Golems all sustained some damage.’
’But that’s nothing a trip to the Golem Factory for maintenance can’t fix.’
Tower Spirit 1 would handle all of this, so he didn’t need to worry.
Meanwhile, the group of Spirit Creatures had also finished gathering.
A quick glance suggested there were at least twenty thousand of them.
However, Spirit Creatures are mostly small, so their formation didn’t look that large.
Under Cameron’s direction, the Spirit Creatures lined up and entered the Wizard Tower, their faces showing either excited anticipation or nervous apprehension.
"Lord Pei Ze."
A pleasant voice sounded from beside him.
Pei Ze turned his head and saw Pasha standing beside him, looking at him a little timidly.
Pei Ze smiled slightly. "It’s been a while, Pasha."
Seeing Pei Ze’s gentle expression, Pasha breathed a sigh of relief. She instantly relaxed, and her expression brightened.
"Lord, what kind of place is Chenxi City?" Pasha asked curiously.
The Star Realm Alliance was famous throughout the Multiverse. Even she had heard of this powerful Wizard Civilization and had once yearned to visit.
Back then, she’d never imagined that she would one day be able to go to the Star Realm Alliance herself.
The young girl’s heart was filled with curiosity about the place she would soon call home.
"A very prosperous city." Pei Ze didn’t mind satisfying the young girl’s curiosity. "There, you won’t have to worry about your lives being in danger."
"Is there a lot of food?"
"Of course."
Pei Ze couldn’t help but laugh.
But he knew that for races of Magical Creatures, basic survival—food and shelter—was always their primary concern.
Pasha was about to ask more, but she saw Pei Ze’s gaze shift and look behind her.
The young girl looked back and saw that Rashim and Gonzalo had appeared some ten-odd meters away at some point. Her expression immediately darkened.
Rashim and Gonzalo ignored Pasha and bowed respectfully to Pei Ze.
"Respected powerhouse, my name is Rashim, and I am the chieftain of the Black Hole Monster clan."
"My lord, my name is Gonzalo, chieftain of the Hidden Dragon Beast clan."
Pei Ze looked at the two of them with a calm expression, not saying a word.
Rashim and Gonzalo exchanged a look. The latter gritted his teeth and finally got straight to the point.
"My lord, our two clans are willing to sign a contract with you and become your vassals. We implore you to take us with you when you leave this plane."
Pasha’s expression changed slightly. She looked at Pei Ze, wanting to speak but holding back.
From the bottom of her heart, she detested the Black Hole Monster and Hidden Dragon Beast clans and didn’t want to see them become Pei Ze’s vassals too.
But this was a decision only Pei Ze could make; she had no right to interfere.
Unexpectedly, Pei Ze just gave Rashim and Gonzalo a brief, indifferent glance and said coolly, "I’m not interested."
Rashim and Gonzalo were stunned. It seemed they never imagined Pei Ze would reject them without a moment’s hesitation, without even considering their offer.
"My lord..."
Gonzalo was about to say more but was cut off bluntly by Pei Ze.
"You’re too weak."
He could see Pasha’s disgust for these two, and while he didn’t know why, he had no intention of finding out.
The reason for his refusal was purely because the Black Hole Monster and Hidden Dragon Beast races were too weak.
Even their chieftains were only at the third-level, not even a match for a Thunder God Golem.
The Spirit Creature race was also weak, but at least they had Leiot, a Fourth-level Powerhouse.
And fairies have always been a favorite among Wizards as lab assistants. They could play a significant role in the Wizard Tower in the future.
’But what can the Black Hole Monsters and Hidden Dragon Beasts even do?’
’They aren’t even qualified to be cannon fodder!’
Their only hope was mercilessly crushed. Despair instantly filled Rashim and Gonzalo, followed by a thick, malevolent aura.
Both Black Hole Monsters and Hidden Dragon Beasts already leaned towards the Evil Faction; naturally, neither race was to be trifled with.
In their despair, an impulse to risk everything in a final, desperate struggle rose from deep within them.
But the moment they looked up and met Pei Ze’s indifferent gaze, they couldn’t help but shudder, as if doused with a bucket of cold water. Their malevolent aura vanished in an instant.
They suddenly remembered that the person before them was a powerhouse who had single-handedly annihilated over one hundred thousand alien insects.
If they stayed on this plane, they could still survive for a while longer.
If they attacked now, they would be instantly turned to ash.
