Their group arrived at Warrior City’s area of influence on foot, about a week later. They had been low-key the entire time. They created large coats for the orcs to wear, and their innately large sizes made it easier for them to carry around the dwarves.

They looked like camels standing upright, though, which made Althea burst out in laughter when she thought of it. The orcs and dwarves had no idea what she was thinking and were just confused.

Meanwhile, Garan found whatever his wife did was beautiful, and he patted her head as if she just did the most wonderful things.

During this time, they had encountered a vast number of mobs. However, with Sol and the orc’s help, Althea and Garan did not have to exert themselves too much. They could just fight casually without having to worry about getting injured.

Garan would often scout ahead as well. Whenever he saw humans at a distance, he would direct the group elsewhere, even if it meant taking a few detours. Anyway, the detours were just a matter of an additional or so, which was nothing to people of their physiques.

They even encountered two level 40 monsters this time. The dwarves were dropped down, and the orcs happily joined Garan to deal with the monsters. Althea helped by ordering Sol and Truffles to help out.

Sol imbalanced their feet by pulling their legs, while Truffles created depressions on the ground, making the other fall as well.

The three fighters then jumped over and immediately used various techniques to kill the powerhouse monsters before they could cause damage to their side, ultimately taking less than ten minutes to get killed.

To think they could now kill level 40 monsters without getting injured felt a little subtle.

Soon, the tall walls of the City appeared and the orcs and dwarves felt a bit novel. The wall they knew could reach the clouds, though this one was owned by a territory, which made it feel amazing.

Before entering, Althea got her wild roots to shrink themselves again. Lily was still a hair ornament, Sol became a bracelet, while Truffles snuggled into one of her pockets.

The couple also gave the orcs and dwarves a crash course about living in a human city. The orcs were fine, but the dwarves really shouldn’t show themselves until they reached the Alterra region to avoid trouble.

The orcs’ robes were loose, and the dwarves hung in front of them, allowing them to see the city while being hidden. Althea had long created some sort of baby strap so the orcs didn’t have to hold them, and the dwarves didn’t have to exert too much effort to hang on.

From underneath the robes, the orcs looked like they were holding triplets in front of them. It was also quite silly, and Althea giggled to herself again, once again confusing the orcs and dwarves.

They were fascinated by the tall buildings under the clear skies, and the noise and sounds that showed its vitality. It was very different from what they knew.

For the orcs, it was just never this noisy because there weren’t many orcs in a single tribe. For the dwarves, it was the sound of stones and metal that echoed in their small chambers, creating reverberation, and without the refreshing backdrop of the sky.

The group quietly headed to their accommodation. It wasn’t the palace, even though Valhalla and the others said they were welcome there any time.

Instead, they headed straight to the villa under their names, gifted by Valhalla and chosen by Virion. It was the first time they had been here, but it was a really nice place.

The lot itself was rather large, more than 800 square meters in lot area. In the middle of it was a large two-storey system villa with advanced facilities, at least in Xenoan standards.

It had a large garden with some flowers, some of which were exotic, and the entire lot was enclosed by level 3 walls and gates.

This was the standard villa in this area, and there were only a few dozen scattered all over the territory. Some were built side-by-side, while others were isolated. It depended on the owner. This villa used to have an owner too, but it was the crony of the treacherous uncle and had long been expropriated.

For now, they allowed themselves to finally get a breather. They were quite satisfied with the accomplishments in this trip, especially since they were left with only one item left to look for.

However, this last item was also a challenge to get. It was located at the northwest seas, accessible only from that side of the continent.

The Northern part of the continent was extremely vast, however, and as of now, Loki and the others were still gathering enough information on it.

If they were to make an assumption (there was still no world map at this time), there was still about half a continent North, and a continent in this world was probably an entire planet or three.

If one were to make an approximation, their current area of movement—including the entire region, Bleulle, and Holt City—was somewhere in the Southern half of the world, though near the center of the continent.

They did not have much information in the other areas, so the last leg of their trip would have to wait.

They were able to head out directly for their trip to the Undead territory and Orc territory because they had a decent amount of information and a nearby associate territory there.

For the Undead, there was Dune Town, which gave them information about the nearby Level 2 towns there. For the Orc region, there was Warrior City, which had even more detailed information about their region and beyond. As the City nearest the Orc territory, they naturally knew most about it, albeit not much when one considered the overall scheme of things.

For the North...they didn’t have much yet. The Northernmost territory they knew of—which was already several territories beyond Flaret—was still within the center of the continent, which was testament to how far they still were.

All this time, they had gathered information of dozens of territories North of the Alterra region, but it was still far away from the edge of the continent.

Anyway, this meant that they still needed to wait a bit longer before they ventured North. The first thing they did after landing on Warrior City was send several posts.

One was to their family, updating them that 2 of 3 of the items had already been obtained, as well as letters for the children, which their friends would read to them.

More posts were sent to the intelligence team, to a few other departments, and even to Lady Naia.

As for why they did not explore the Southern seas, Lady Naia said that their item was definitely not there because the conditions of the place didn’t allow for this to develop well. Even if it were, it was still more worthwhile to explore the North first.

After sending their letters, they headed to the psuedo-Alchemy Hall. It was to clear the mission they took in Warrior City, so they could finally use the Mercenary Hall again.

That said, for this trip, they probably wouldn’t get to Alterra via arrays because they had non-members in the party. Still, it was comforting to open up the path again.

Maybe there would be unexpected surprises.
