Chapter 2365: Chapter 599: If Heaven Had Not Given Me Huang Kaiwen

"Yes," Carlo Festa from The Sun newspaper, can we talk?"

"Sorry, I don’t have time!"

"Ten thousand pounds, that’s my limit!"

El Ramsey licked his lips, just about to speak.

The other party spoke again: "You only have one chance."

Carlo Festa had paid many informants before.

Today, he decided to influence Ramsey’s judgment directly with a large sum of money, making him afraid to lose it.

"Alright, but it can’t be for too long, I have other things to do."

El Ramsey said.

Carlo Festa wasn’t in a rush to ask questions but instead handed El Ramsey a contract.

"What do you mean?"

Ramsey asked.

"An agreement not to accept interviews from other media."

Carlo Festa promptly said.

"Then it won’t be at that price!"

Ramsey mocked.

He didn’t expect there would be so much money for an interview.

But from the attitude of this reporter, he knew he already held considerable value after playing the song today.

Ramsey silently thanked Kevin.

He felt this was God rewarding him for being an honest, kind-hearted fan.

A large sum of money suddenly fell from the sky.

The two talked in the hotel room for over an hour before finalizing the exclusive interview fee at 25,000 pounds.

It wasn’t that anything inappropriate happened.

The main reason was that Festa feared colleagues might target Ramsey, and finding a quiet place to talk on the street wasn’t easy, with tourists everywhere.

The room was secured through the newspaper’s connections.

After waiting for another 20 minutes, a colleague brought the cheque, and Festa began the interview.

This young man did something major today.

However, he was different from Beckham’s assistant or Rooney’s bedmate; he couldn’t reveal too much celebrity privacy.

Otherwise, he would have received at least six figures in benefits.

"Tell me, El, why did you do that on site?"

The reporter asked.

"How did you find me?"

El Ramsey asked.

"It wasn’t difficult, I have my ways."

Festa urged, "If it’s not timely, the news value will decrease, you’d better cooperate somewhat."

"OK, OK, relax, buddy."

Ramsey said, "I had a college roommate from China; he once told me some Chinese history. This song felt good to me, so I kept it."

"Do you know the meaning of the song?"

Festa asked.

"I have a rough idea, I think it’s great. Didn’t you see Kevin’s performance today?" Ramsey excitedly closed his eyes and gestured, "I think it’s the song that influenced Kevin, which let the world witness an irreproducible match. God, I really don’t know how he did it."

The two chatted for a while longer.

Ramsey then took the cheque and left.

Upon entering the bar, Ramsey immediately caught everyone’s attention.

"Look who’s here, oh-ho-ho."

Old George behind the bar jeered.

"Well done, El!"

"You made quite a splash today, buddy."

"El, you’re my hero."

El Ramsey bumped fists with several acquaintances, heading to the bar and asked, "Will you buy a round of drinks?"

"Of course, one drink for everyone, beer!"

Old George shouted. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

The bar immediately filled with boos.

Ramsey took out his wallet, saw the cheque nicely tucked inside, and pulled out a few paper bills, slapping them heavily on the table, saying, "Make it whiskey, don’t fool us with American stuff."

"El!"

"El!"

"El!"

The patrons excitedly raised their glasses, chanting rhythmically.

Ramsey thoroughly enjoyed the feeling.

After old George poured him a drink, he immediately carried the glass to find a spot.

Normally, José Lu often teased him, but he actually gave Ramsey his seat this time.

El Ramsey started opening up.

He finally became the focus of others’ attention.

Later in the night, drunk, he returned home, where his girlfriend scolded him, "Where did you go to mess around? The reporters are going crazy trying to find you."

Ramsey excitedly handed the cheque to his girlfriend, immediately silencing her.

His girlfriend handed over a package to Ramsey, saying, "Someone sent this to you."

Ramsey opened it to find an old Chelsea jersey, flipping it over, it indeed bore the number ten, with a signature on it!

A piece of paper fluttered down beneath the jersey.

Match-worn jersey!!!

His heart was about to explode.

Ramsey already planned to keep the jersey as a family heirloom for the kids.

"Kevin gifted me a jersey; it must be a match-worn version from the UEFA Champions League final!!!"

Ramsey said excitedly.

His girlfriend broke into a smile too, bending over to pick up the piece of paper.

As she picked it up, she started to tremble all over.

Ramsey was still immersed in the joy of having the jersey until his girlfriend fainted, then quickly checked on her condition.

"What’s wrong with you? What’s the matter?"

"Wake up, wake up."

Just as he was about to call an ambulance, he noticed the piece of paper in his girlfriend’s hand. Ramsey’s eyes widened to the maximum — damn, it was a lottery ticket, first prize!!!
