[So, would you like to purchase...]

"The Eternal Origin Zero"

[Yes] or [No]

Luke stared at the notification for several moments before finally raising his hand beneath the watchful gazes of the Titan spirits and pressing the option.

[Yes]

[Congratulations, Luke! You have obtained your first EX-Rank item!]

"Okay, that was easier than expected."

Luke muttered before smiling toward the others, and the four Titan spirits also relaxed slightly after seeing the purchase go through without anything strange happening.

A moment later, information concerning "The Eternal Origin Zero" began flowing into Luke’s mind, giving him a basic understanding of how the technique worked.

The requirement was surprisingly straightforward compared with everything the Titans had explained earlier.

Luke simply had to continue hunting beings, gather their bloodline essence, and cultivate, while the technique itself would automatically carry out the complicated internal processes of purification, engraving, reconstruction, and refinement with only minimal pain involved.

"Great."

With the matter finally settled, Luke climbed out of the bath before taking out a set of magical clothes.

The fabric immediately shifted around his body, transforming into a black shirt and matching black pants, while a brown leather belt formed around his waist. Luke rolled his sleeves up toward his elbows and left the upper button of his shirt undone, making the outfit more comfortable before finally turning toward the exit.

"Let’s start this new journey."

Luke calmly walked out of the bathhouse, where two maids dressed in proper maid uniforms were already waiting outside.

Unlike the half-dragons he had seen earlier, neither woman possessed any visible draconic features.

’A dragon?’

That was the first thought that came to Luke’s mind, because unlike half-dragons, true dragons were capable of completely hiding their racial characteristics while maintaining humanoid form.

"Sir, the Princess is waiting for you. Please follow us."

Both maids bowed politely, and Luke gave a small nod before following them through the palace.

The hallways were absurdly large, with ceilings and passages wide enough that even a dragon could move through them without much difficulty, which only made Luke more aware that this place had never been designed according to human proportions.

In this section of the palace, only a few maids and butlers could be seen moving around, each dressed professionally and quietly attending to their duties while Luke continued following the two women.

After nearly five minutes of walking, they finally stopped before another grand chamber whose entrance rose hundreds of meters into the air, making Luke appear almost insignificant when standing before it.

’Damn... everything here is huge. It feels like I’m walking through a palace built for giants.’

Luke clicked his tongue in amusement before nodding toward the two maids, who bowed once more and quietly left him there.

Two female guards stood beside the gate.

Unlike the armored knights Luke was accustomed to seeing throughout the Human Continent, neither woman wore armor, and both were dressed rather simply, making them appear almost ordinary at first glance.

The two guards briefly examined Luke before one of them turned toward the closed gate and called loudly.

"My Lady, the guest has arrived!"

For several moments, nothing happened, yet the guards remained completely still until a gentle female voice eventually came from somewhere beyond the gate.

"Let him in."

"Yes, My Lady."

With that, both guards stepped toward the center of the entrance and placed one hand against their respective halves of the gigantic gate.

"Humph!"

Rrrrrmm...

The gate resisted for a brief moment before slowly beginning to move under their strength.

Skrrrrrr...

Its lower edge scraped across the floor as both sides gradually opened, until they finally struck the inner walls with a heavy impact.

BOOM!

"..."

Luke remained completely silent.

The sound itself wasn’t what surprised him.

The instant the two guards had exerted their strength, Luke had briefly sensed the power hidden inside their bodies.

’A-Rank...’

His expression became strange.

’A freaking A-Rank... working as a gate guard?’

For a moment, Luke genuinely felt as though his understanding of power had been turned upside down, because on the Human Continent, an A-Rank existence stood just below the King Tier and possessed enough strength to threaten entire kingdoms.

Yet here, two of them were simply standing beside a gate.

"Sir?"

One of the guards finally called to him after noticing that he had stopped moving.

Luke returned to his senses and gave a small nod.

"Yeah."

He silently accepted another reality of the Dragon Continent.

Dragons naturally possessed extremely long lifespans and continued becoming stronger over time, while unlike many ordinary races, they didn’t suffer from the same harsh realm barriers that stopped others from advancing.

’It’s really good to be a dragon...’

Luke paused.

’Wait, I don’t have realm barriers anymore either because of my new technique.’

That thought immediately improved his mood.

’Just wait. I’ll leave all of you behind soon enough.’

STEP.

Luke crossed the threshold, and the gigantic doors behind him began closing once again.

BOOM!

Luke glanced backward.

’Does nobody here care about noise pollution?’

Choosing to ignore that question, he finally turned toward the interior.

"Hmmm... okay, now this is getting out of hand."

Luke wasn’t standing inside a normal chamber.

He was standing inside another world.

Mountains rose in the distance, wide bodies of water stretched across the land, and even a sun and moon hung high above the artificial sky, making it difficult to believe that all of this existed behind a pair of palace doors.

Luke slowly looked around, taking in trees that rose hundreds of meters into the air, while some stretched even higher and reached thousands of meters toward the false heavens.

For a moment, he genuinely felt as though he had left Valtharion and entered an entirely different world.

"So, do you like it?"

A gentle voice suddenly came from beside him.

Luke turned and found Emberlyn standing there as casually as though the two of them had known each other for years.

"Don’t know."

Luke didn’t praise the place and simply gave the first answer that came to mind, which caused Emberlyn to smile slightly.

"Our Grandma has created this."

"..."

Luke’s expression changed again.

He had been hearing about this mysterious grandmother repeatedly ever since arriving on the Dragon Continent, and surprisingly, she was also the reason Rhaenyra had brought him here in the first place.

Yet Luke still knew almost nothing about her.

From the information his clones had gathered in the Human Capital before he was brought here, Luke knew that the father of the current Dragon King was the Dragon Emperor, a demi-god whose reputation extended across Valtharion.

More importantly, the Dragon Emperor officially held the title of the strongest known demi-god in the entire world.

There were even rumors claiming that gods descending through Apostles would struggle to defeat him, while his achievements during the Demon War included personally killing several Demon Emperors and building a terrifying reputation throughout that era.

’No wonder demons don’t casually come here.’

Luke immediately understood why the Dragon Continent remained relatively untouched by demonic forces.

’With someone like that sitting here all this time, invading this continent would practically be suicide.’

However, one detail still bothered him.

Despite everything his clones had learned about the Dragon Emperor, Luke had never found any meaningful information concerning the Dragon Emperor’s wife.

It was almost as though anything related to her had either been hidden extremely well or deliberately erased.

Noticing that Luke had once again fallen into thought, Emberlyn smiled faintly before gesturing for him to follow.

"Let’s go. Elder Sister and Grandma are waiting for you."
