After Marrying 5 Yandere Wives, I Obtained a 10,000x Return System
Chapter 312: Even Brynessa Realizes They Underestimated Luke!
Isaria, however, was thinking in the opposite direction.
’Luke has become so strong.’ She looked at him quietly.
’Would he still care about me? Would he even want to talk to me anymore?’
The thought made her feel increasingly distant from him.
She was only an Early C-rank.
And now, his world seemed to be moving farther away from hers, and for a moment, Isaria couldn’t help feeling that she might be looking at him for the last time.
"Luke..." So, his name escaped her lips in a low whisper.
Around the spectator seats, everyone had begun forming their own thoughts, plans, and conclusions about the hero who had just revealed another layer of his strength.
Then Luke finally brought the Heaven’s Palm down.
"COME DOWN!"
His shout echoed across the arena.
The spectral palm descended with greater force, and the pressure beneath it increased sharply.
Marrec’s body was driven downward.
The enormous force pressing against him felt as though a mountain had suddenly been placed above his head, forcing him toward the ground.
"NO!"
Marrec roared as he resisted.
"DON’T UNDERESTIMATE ME!"
With that shout, the two miniature suns floating behind his Battle Form immediately moved upward.
They streaked toward the descending palm before colliding directly with its surface.
BOOOOM!
BOOOOM!
Two explosions erupted almost simultaneously across the spectral hand, the blasts spreading across its surface and creating brief mushroom-shaped clouds.
For a moment, Marrec seemed to believe the attack had worked.
Then—
WHOOSH!
The Heaven’s Palm continued descending.
The force of its movement pushed the smoke and debris away from its surface, revealing that the two explosions had caused no meaningful damage.
Marrec’s expression stiffened.
"It’s futile, Marrec." Luke’s calm voice came.
"That palm is made of force, and force governs natural laws."
Even Luke was somewhat surprised by the structure and durability of the technique.
Azrion’s Unwritten Arts didn’t simply make an ordinary attack larger. They manifested the Titan’s physical traits through externalized force and gave those traits form.
There was, however, a serious problem.
When Luke had first tested Heaven’s Palm, he had discovered that it consumed almost all of the force stored within his body.
Ninety-nine percent.
His natural supply of force had barely been enough to maintain the technique.
To solve that problem, Luke had used Form Assimilation to replace Azrion’s heart within his current form with the Cosmic Heart.
The result had been significant.
The Cosmic Heart could pump a tremendous amount of force energy throughout his body, allowing Luke to maintain Heaven’s Palm without letting the manifestation collapse and disperse back into nature.
Without that additional supply, the enormous palm wouldn’t remain stable for long.
Down in the arena, Marrec continued struggling against the pressure.
His massive body was being pushed toward the ground, and despite all the force he exerted, he couldn’t properly move.
It was as though he were trapped beneath a mountain.
Eventually, Marrec stopped trying to force his way upward and allowed his body to endure the pressure while he looked toward Luke.
"Don’t think, hero, that your attack can defeat me!"
He still refused to back down.
"A real High B-rank attack is something you could never produce, because you’re not a real High B-rank!"
The words were clearly directed at Luke’s apparent cultivation.
Marrec had fought Brynessa before.
He knew what a genuine High B-rank was capable of.
Luke’s cultivation did not match that level, which made Marrec believe that there had to be a limit to whatever technique he was using.
So, instead of panicking, he waited.
Meanwhile, on Brynessa’s side, Mella continued watching the descending Heaven’s Palm with curiosity.
"Miss, has Luke’s Heaven’s Palm really reached the High B-rank level?"
Brynessa’s gaze remained fixed on the attack as she considered the question.
"Mella, the type of attack Luke is using is called Manifestation."
Mella listened carefully.
"Only A-rank beings can normally perform Manifestation, or unless a being possess a special Origin Skill or another ability that can produce a similar effect."
Mella’s expression immediately changed.
She had spent most of her time beside Brynessa, especially after Brynessa’s return, and although she had previously been within the Beast Empire, she had never personally witnessed a proper A-rank battle.
She had heard the rumors.
According to them, when A-rank beings truly fought, the shockwaves alone could overturn mountains.
The difference in destructive scale also showed just how far apart the ranks were.
An A-rank attack could reach a destructive area of around one hundred kilometers.
Even Peak B-rank beings normally reached around ten kilometers, while particularly powerful individuals could reach as far as twenty kilometers.
The difference was obvious.
Brynessa continued speaking calmly.
"From what I can see, Luke’s attack can be considered High B-rank in terms of outward power."
She narrowed her eyes.
"But his foundation isn’t that of a true High B-rank, and the manifestation itself is still incomplete."
She had already identified the weakness.
If Luke heard her explanation, he would have agreed.
Most of his problems still came back to one issue.
The quality of his energy.
His stat buffs increased the quantity of energy he possessed, not its fundamental quality.
At present, Luke was using genuine elements, but their quality remained around Silver level.
Even so, those genuine elements gave him an unusual advantage.
Many B-rank beings relied upon increasingly refined Essence and used it to imitate elemental properties, whereas Luke was using actual elemental energy, even if its quality was still low.
As a result, his attacks could still reach B-rank levels despite the weakness in his energy quality.
That was one of the reasons his current power was so strange.
Luke himself had already come to understand this.
If he were Early B-rank, his energy would also possess genuine B-rank quality, and the difference would be tremendous.
He could potentially erase Marrec with far simpler abilities instead of relying on complicated methods to bridge the gap.
Even reaching C-rank energy quality would help significantly.
After becoming a Titan, Luke had also learned something else.
His energy system would not advance exactly like that of ordinary cultivators.
Other beings eventually stopped using Aether and began using Essence, but Luke’s Titan forms were fundamentally different.
From the beginning, his Titan forms had used a mixture of Aether and genuine elemental energy.
After he became a true Titan, even his titan form only used real elemental energy.
Thinking about it, Luke released an annoyed breath.
"Whatever."
He raised his hands.
Then he summoned two more clones.
The new figures appeared beside him, still relatively small compared with his current seventy-foot form, but their bodies began expanding almost immediately.
The transformation continued until they reached the same size and appearance as Luke, complete with the white Nullex armor covering their bodies.
"Normally I don’t use much force than necessary, but this time, I am pissed off." Hearing Luke’s annoyed voice, A bad feeling immediately formed within Marrec.
He was not the only one.
The spectators also began to realize what Luke was preparing to do.
"It can’t be."
"That’s too broken."
"He’s dead."
Even Brynessa’s mouth twitched.
If Luke actually managed to use the same technique through all three bodies, then his threat level would rise dramatically.
Which means, they had clearly underestimated him.
