2nd day of Fructus Month, same year.

"Sir Luke, I have heard many things about you." Estelle said smilingly. Luke nodded with a normal expression, clearly not interested in knowing, what she had heard about him.

"Hmm, this is tasty." He commented with suprised expression, after tasting.

Isaria just nodded across the table, while Estelle smiled.

After students earlier outburst, they had changed the place of their meeting.

Now, the three of them—yes, even the princess of the Eldric Sunborn Kingdom—were having a meal together.

They were inside a cafeteria-like building, which looked much like the luxury restaurants found in Luke’s world.

The three of them were eating peacefully when Estelle glanced at her friend before shifting her gaze toward Luke.

A playful smile slowly spread across her lips.

"So, Sir Luke, is he really my friend’s fiancé?"

"Khh—Cough! Cough!"

The moment Estelle finished speaking, Isaria choked on her drink.

She immediately turned toward Estelle and gave her a death glare.

Yet, Estelle merely smiled innocently as she reached over and gently patted Isaria’s back, trying to calm her down.

Meanwhile, the eyes of the surrounding onlookers widened as they stared at Luke with shock, jealousy, anger, and various other expressions.

"Isaria’s fiancé?"

"When did that happen? Why don’t I know anything about this?"

"Why didn’t she tell me about it?"

"Is she your girlfriend?!"

Soon, murmurs spread from table to table, and the once-quiet cafeteria became as noisy as a fish market.

Hearing all the commotion, Isaria’s face turned red with shame and embarrassment.

After the earlier misunderstanding, she already knew that Luke wasn’t actually her fiancé.

That was why hearing everyone talk about it again made her even more embarrassed—and furious at Estelle.

"Estelle!"

She immediately turned toward her friend and gave her another death glare.

After all, she knew very well that Estelle was thoroughly enjoying her embarrassment.

"Ah, Lady Isaria, you don’t have to mind them," Luke suddenly intervened, his voice calm and reassuring, as if those rumors were nothing more than a passing moment.

Hearing his words, Isaria looked at the culprit.

Luke was still eating his food calmly, completely unfazed by the rumors spreading around them, as though none of it had anything to do with him.

’Well, he already has plenty of rumors surrounding him.’ Recalling those, a small smile appeared on Isaria’s lips.

Estelle, who was sitting beside her, noticed the smile and became surprised.

Isaria had always been the type to remain quiet and composed. She rarely expressed her emotions openly.

Yet, a single sentence from Luke had actually made her smile.

’The title of Womanizer wasn’t wasted on him after all.’ Estelle gave Luke an praising look.

Luke noticed her strange gaze and became baffled.

At that moment, the system’s voice followed.

[Luke, that woman is definitely thinking something bad about you.]

Luke glanced at Estelle for a moment.

However, rather than asking what she was thinking, he simply ignored both her and the system.

Then, he turned his attention back to Isaria.

"I am sure that with Lady Isaria’s personality, you will definitely find the best husband."

Isaria froze mid-bite.

A faint blush immediately appeared on her cheeks.

’How can he talk so nicely?’ She complained inwardly before quickly lowering her gaze and continuing to eat.

On the other hand, Estelle was completely shocked.

’What a womanizer.’ She looked at Luke with even more admiration.

His ability to flatter women was truly something worth praising.

Of course, Luke remained completely oblivious to this and continued eating normally.

A few minutes later, after they had finally finished their meals and the surrounding glares had gradually died down, Luke finally asked the question he had wanted to ask from the beginning.

"When are the representatives from Empyrean Academy arriving?"

Hearing this, realization appeared in both Isaria’s and Estelle’s eyes.

’He’s here for his wife, Selene.’

For some reason, that thought caused an uncomfortable feeling to stir within Isaria’s heart.

It was almost as if she didn’t like the idea.

However, she knew that the man sitting in front of her was already married. And she had no right to interfere in his personal life.

Estelle glanced at Isaria with concern, clearly noticing the subtle change in her expression.

Isaria quickly acted as though nothing had happened and replied with a smile.

"The time was arranged for the afternoon, so they should be arriving soon."

With that, she stopped talking and continued eating.

Estelle paused for a moment after seeing this, then continued eating as well.

Luke noticed the sudden change in her expression, but chose not to say anything. He simply resumed his meal.

Soon, the atmosphere at the table became slightly uncomfortable.

Fortunately, the awkward silence didn’t last long.

A loud voice suddenly echoed throughout Horizon Academy.

"The representatives from Empyrean Academy have arrived!"

Hearing the announcement, everyone in the cafeteria immediately stood up, their eyes lighting up with excitement.

After all, Empyrean Academy represented connections.

If they could establish a good relationship with any of them, then it could bring numerous benefits to them.

"Let’s go!"

With that, several professors immediately rushed toward the exit, completely forgetting that they were professors and not some careless children.

"So, those almighty people have finally arrived," Estelle commented sarcastically as she lowered her fork.

This wasn’t the first time she had met them, so she knew exactly how they behaved.

The humans inside Empyrean Academy, in particular, held very little status there.

Results? Among the various races, humans were often given the least respect.

’If not for the exploration opportunities, we wouldn’t even have invited them.’

Estelle stood up with that thought, and Isaria followed shortly after.

The earlier uneasiness had completely disappeared from Isaria’s expression. She was once again the calm and composed Professor of Horizon Academy.

"Please don’t mind me if I come along as well," Luke said with a smile before following them.

Neither woman objected.

After all, their attention was about to shift toward something far more important.

Still, before leaving, Isaria glanced at Luke’s face for a moment.

Then, she silently nodded.
