After Beating the Game, I Became the Villain BOSS

Chapter 704 432: Central Brain Defeated (Part 2)

The boss said lazily, "The female lead won't appear at this point anymore. Even if you complete the mission and save her, there's no special CG. It's just a waste of time."

Su Mo's expression was very serious: "That's two separate things. Even if there isn't a special CG, at least I know I saved her, and that's enough."

The boss laughed, "It's hilarious. Why are you taking a game so seriously?"

Su Mo thought for a moment and said, "Don't you feel that the world in the game is real?"

The boss asked strangely, "A game is a game. It's all fake, how could it be real?"

Su Mo looked at the character he was controlling on the screen and mumbled, "Then I'm different from you. Although I know the game is fake too, I would immerse myself as the protagonist, treating the screen as a real world."

"Everyone in there is real to me, and every choice I make will affect their lives."

"So, whether it's wasting time or walking a difficult path, I must give them a perfect world."

...

...

...

Due to the energy reactor damage during the fierce battle, Sky City lost sufficient power and plummeted onto the surface.

Fortunately, Sky City was designed with enough safety margin from the start. During the descent, backup power engines activated, slowing the fall; it wasn't a hard landing; otherwise, the ensuing shock would likely destroy the entire New Moon City.

Even so, the terrain at the crash site was permanently altered. The fallen Sky City resembled a mountain range that had descended from the sky, stretching across the outskirts of New Moon City.

At the center of that final battlefield, endless dust shrouded the surroundings. Smoke rose to the sky, and the ground was visibly scarred by massive impact-induced fissures.

Suddenly, a bloody hand stretched out from the rubble of collapsed rock layers, pushing hard against the ground, dragging the buried body out.

Su Mo, severely injured at this moment, with not a single patch of good skin, his wounds were grotesquely unrecognizable, and blood flowed like a creek, soaking his tattered garment.

He had barely taken a few steps before vomiting black blood. Every breath tugging his wounds, his body seemed to collapse spine-less onto the ground, but he forced himself to stand.

Soon, the Black King Level Crimson Rose Blood Code started to operate.

Earlier, Su Mo had deliberately suppressed the Crimson Rose Blood Code to maximize his power, ensuring he remained in a "blood-depleted" state to utilize the Azure Wolf Blood Code to the fullest extent.

But now, it's no longer needed.

The injuries, capable of taking countless lives from an ordinary person, healed rapidly, and he finally found his footing.

Su Mo searched among the battlefield debris, quickly finding the main brain's remnants.

In the previous confrontation, the originally radiant construct body had been completely destroyed by the Desecrating Silence Sword, leaving only a light core amongst the remains.

Dawn Game's final BOSS main brain, ultimate form "Divine Incarnation", defeated!

Time...

Su Mo reflected on the entire battle just now.

Hmm, altogether it didn't even take a minute.

With 3 extra seconds.

At this moment, the light core started emitting a flash, a faint voice emerged from within.

"This is impossible..."

Who is speaking now? Yan Wenwu? Or someone else?

That's unknown.

After all, there are quite a few "people" inside.

Su Mo flexed his arm, saying calmly: "It's kind of ridiculous, got so heavily injured fighting you."

"If I had been using a keyboard and mouse, I would have easily beaten you without a scratch."

The light emitted by the light core gradually dimmed and eventually disappeared, falling into dormancy.

Compared to other constructs, the main brain of the Supreme exists unique, as all important components in its body are compressed within the light core, everything else is just an extension of the light core.

In other words, as long as the light core remains, it can reform life, undying and indestructible.

Su Mo didn't deliver the final blow to this fragile light core but picked it up.

It had other uses.

Su Mo walked to a corner of the battlefield, uncovering layers of ruins, finding Su Motong buried within.

Earlier, Su Motong was under the control of the main brain's hive mind, Su Mo had trapped her using the Frenzied Corpse Rigid Bone.

Now the battle was over, the main brain's light core fell into dormancy, Su Motong's mind returned to normal.

However, given the fierce aftermath of the recent battle, even though layers of Frenzied Corpse Rigid Bone shielded her, Su Motong was still badly injured and extremely weak.

Fortunately, the Queen Bee construct is a very powerful life form, even if not reaching the main brain's near-immortal level, its body still possessed self-healing abilities, slowly resurrecting as long as it's not killed outright.

Su Mo carried Su Motong out of the wreckage, pressing his forehead against hers, softly calling her: "Mo Tong, are you okay?"

Su Motong opened her weak eyes, nodding gently: "I'm okay."

Su Mo murmured: "The things I mentioned to you before..."

Su Motong placed her finger on Su Mo's lips, showing a gentle smile: "I know everything."

A deep sorrow flashed through Su Mo's eyes, he held Su Motong tightly in his arms, his voice subconsciously trembling: "If I've made any mistakes, I'm sorry..."

Su Motong said nothing, merely raising her small hand to gently stroke her father's back, merging all she desired to say within her tender smile.

Su Mo lifted Su Motong, finding the old site of the hall, locating a metal door amidst the ruins.

The metal door had become twisted during the battle's aftermath, yet its strength was remarkably high, the main structure remained intact.

Su Mo tore open the metal door, cold, murky air rushed towards them, he led Su Motong down the long stairs behind the door leading underground.

As Su Mo went further, the faint light from the entrance gradually faded, the surroundings plunged into darkness, only the footsteps echoed crisply and emptily on the staircase.

Su Mo reached the bottom layer, entering a confined area, his vision opening up.

Looking around, towering mechanical structures surrounded him, countless pipes and cables hung from the ceiling, resembling snakes, cold blue and white lights intertwined, illuminating every inch brightly.

A gigantic control terminal stood on a central metal platform, seemingly the heart of this confine, the console was covered with complex buttons, knobs, and touch screens, a large display screen flickering with various information,

This is the total control room of Sky City, managing everything here, including issuing the Spear of Judgment's command.

Su Mo approached the control terminal, reaching out to the energy core near his chest, opened the built-in storage compartment within his prosthetic body, taking out a chip and connected it to the control terminal's interface.

Then he accessed the built-in communication unit to contact Edge Mansion, saying upon connection: "Qi Ling, the battle here is over."

"I used the chip you gave me to open an access interface on the control terminal, you can now use the Black Extinction Virus to halt the firing of the Spear of Judgment."

The Spear of Judgment was created using construct technology, and with current human technology, its internal programming cannot be modified, true.

But the Black Extinction Virus isn't contemporary human technology; it's from an old era and was one of the non-direct lethal weapons humans used against constructs at that time.

In Dawn Game's original storyline, the Black Extinction Virus was indeed used to shut down the Spear of Judgment's firing program.

Su Mo specifically added: "Only close the firing program, don't do anything else."

From the communication device, Qi Ling, for some reason, didn't speak.

But from the constant sound of keyboard tapping, she heard him.

Soon, a multitude of red warning messages flooded the control terminal's display screen, the mechanical system began humming deeply, the surrounding air became stifling due to machine overclocking.

Finally, as the last tapping sound settled on the communicator, Qi Ling's voice emerged: "The Spear of Judgment firing program has been shut down."

Su Mo: "I'm about to issue a global announcement, assist me in establishing a communication channel to the outside world, ensuring I can directly converse with everyone."
