Chapter 194: Chapter 194: Tell Her Who He Likes

"What is it?" Julian Forrester finally remembered. She had mentioned having something to ask him since breakfast, but this was the first chance she’d gotten.

"Let’s sit down first." Julian Forrester pulled her over to a wicker chair nearby.

A white porcelain teapot sat on the round glass table, a wisp of steam curling up from its spout, carrying the fragrance of light tea.

The man leaned over. His slender, well-defined fingers lifted the teapot, and the motion of him pouring her tea exuded an effortless, captivating elegance.

Sienna Everett was in no mood to appreciate it. With almost no preamble, she dropped a bombshell. "I heard you’ve been in love with someone for over ten years."

In that instant, Julian Forrester’s hand froze mid-pour.

The air fell silent.

Deathly silent.

After several seconds, his lowered lashes trembled slightly. He set the teapot down, raised his eyes to look at her, and his voice was extremely deep. "Where did you hear that?"

"This morning, when I went to the restaurant for breakfast, I heard Keith Sterling say it." Sienna Everett’s shimmering eyes blinked. "I was just trying to sneak up and scare him from behind, but by sheer coincidence, I overheard him telling Evan Shelby that you’ve been in love with someone for over ten years and still haven’t managed to win her over."

Julian Forrester: "..."

Sienna Everett didn’t even notice her own fingers subconsciously tightening on the hem of her dress. "Is what Keith Sterling said true or not?"

’In love for over ten years... that’s such a long time.’

Julian Forrester watched her in silence. It felt like only a few seconds, yet also as long as a century.

Finally, he admitted, "It’s true."

Hearing this, Sienna Everett’s eyelashes fluttered rapidly twice, like the frantic wings of a butterfly. She slowly let out an, "Oh."

Julian Forrester suddenly stood up, walked over to her, and knelt on one knee, bringing his gaze level with hers.

He looked at her, his eyes unusually dark. "You’ve known since this morning that I’m in love with someone, yet you’ve gone about your day as usual. Don’t you mind, even a little?"

’Not even... a hint of jealousy?’

Sienna Everett’s pupils trembled. She lowered her lashes for two seconds, then raised her eyes to meet his again and said frankly:

"I was starving this morning, but after hearing what Keith Sterling said, I lost my appetite and rushed back to ask you. More than anything, I was just shocked and thought it was impossible. How could you like someone and not be able to win them over... But now, since it’s true, and you really do have someone you love... we were about to get a divorce anyway, so let’s just go through with it."

Julian Forrester was so incensed he almost laughed. She really didn’t beat around the bush.

Sienna Everett suddenly frowned. "If you have someone you love, why did you still want to... fulfill your marital duties with me before?"

Julian Forrester stared at her without a word. After a moment, he suddenly asked, "You’ve always loved the snow, ever since you were a child, right?"

Sienna Everett nodded subconsciously. "Yes."

Then she looked completely baffled. ’Why did the topic suddenly jump to snow?’

Besides, given the recent weather, it wasn’t snowing anywhere, neither back home nor here in Meridia, Yesteria.

Julian Forrester’s eyes were deep and inscrutable. "It’s still snowing in Odenburg, Noria. Let’s not go back home today. We’ll fly there directly."

"Huh?" Utter astonishment filled Sienna Everett’s eyes.

Odenburg in Noria was famously known as The Snowlands. When she was a child, she had read about it in a book and excitedly pointed it out to Julian Forrester, saying they should go see the snow in Noria together someday. But then they had a falling out, and their childhood promise was never fulfilled.

’Why the sudden urge to go now?’

’A pre-divorce trip?’

Sienna Everett scratched her head, feeling it was a bit strange. "Is this... appropriate?"

Julian Forrester: "Didn’t we agree to go together when we were kids?"

At the mention of their childhood, Sienna Everett’s heart tightened slightly. A ripple trembled in her shimmering eyes. "Why do you suddenly want to go now? Is something going on?"

"Yes."

Julian Forrester gazed at her without blinking, his dark, profound eyes rippling with faint, invisible circles.

’Since things have come to this, it’s time to tell her who it is I love.’

Hearing his "yes," Sienna Everett blinked, clueless as to what he was planning. Since he really did have something in mind, she nodded, her voice softening obediently. "Alright then, let’s go together."

Just then, Keith Sterling came looking for them.

The moment he entered, the guy called out in a singsong voice, "My dearest brother and sister-in-law, what are you two doing~~? It’s time to head to the airport!"

Sienna Everett stood up and walked over. "We’re not going back home just yet. We’re making a last-minute trip to Noria."

When Keith Sterling heard this, he excitedly sidled up to them, his eyes shining brighter than a 500-watt bulb. "Sierra, what are you guys going to Noria for? I wanna go, I wanna go!"

After saying that, he turned to his brother, his smile brighter than a Samoyed’s. "Bro, take your most adorable little brother with you!"

And in return, this "most adorable little brother" received a cold glare from his brother.

"..." ’Fine, I’m not worthy.’

Keith Sterling’s face fell. He looked pitifully at Sienna Everett. "Sister-in-law, are you really not taking me with you?"

’If Sierra agrees to take me, my brother definitely won’t object. Can’t be helped. Anything Sierra says goes with my brother.’

’See how smart and clever I am? I figured it out long ago. With the way my brother spoils Sierra without any limits or principles, she’s definitely going to be the one calling the shots in the future.’

So, Keith Sterling immediately turned his pleading gaze to Sienna Everett.

’We have such a great relationship. I don’t even need to say much; Sierra will definitely agree to take me.’

But the next second, Sienna Everett patted his head consolingly and said, "Be good. We really can’t take you this time."

Keith Sterling: "..."

’My brother doesn’t care, and now my sister-in-law doesn’t either. This fractured family... there’s no love left!’

Keith Sterling clutched his wounded little heart and ran out of the room with a tearful expression.

When the others heard the two weren’t returning home for now, they tactfully didn’t ask any questions. However, Ian Prescott’s gaze flickered back and forth between Sienna Everett and Julian Forrester several times, sensing that something wasn’t quite right.

Javier Prescott’s expression was cold; he was still thinking about the DNA test results between the Prescott Family and Sienna Everett.

Orion Hawthorne wore a black baseball cap, its brim pulled low over a rebellious lock of silver hair. His untamed eyes were lowered, focused on his phone, and he didn’t say a word.

Evan Shelby’s ocean-blue eyes rippled with amusement. "Well then, I hope you two have a wonderful time."

Sienna Everett: "..."

Isabelle Sutton’s cheeks dimpled into a cute smile. "Sienna, I hope you and Mr. Forrester have a great trip."

Sienna Everett: "..."

’It’s actually a divorce trip. Whether it’ll be ’great’ or not...’

It was definitely too late to book airline tickets now. Julian Forrester made a call. The Forresterer Group had two long-established branches in the next city, so he had them arrange for a private jet to fly them directly to Odenburg, Noria.

Julian Forrester had arranged everything perfectly. Sienna Everett didn’t have to worry about a thing; she just had to bring herself along.

In the afternoon, the plane arrived in The Snowlands, landing at a place called The Snowcap Resort.

The moment they deplaned, they were greeted by a vast, white world of ice and snow. Their feet made CRUNCHING sounds on the ground as snowflakes drifted down, dancing through the air.

In the distance, a pine forest stretched up the mountainside, its branches covered in pure white snow. A few elk could be faintly seen strolling through the snow, like a scene from a forest fairytale.

On the plane, at Julian Forrester’s insistence, Sienna Everett had already changed into warm clothes and a jacket, so she didn’t feel cold at all.

The two had just stepped off the plane when the resort manager, who had been waiting for them, led a group of people over with beaming smiles, welcoming them as warmly as if they were his own bosses.

Sienna Everett was surprised for a moment. After overhearing a few words, she realized that The Snowcap Resort was a Forresterer Group property.

"Mr. Forrester, Miss Everett, everything is ready. This way, please!"

After a few pleasantries, the resort manager invited Julian Forrester and Sienna Everett to walk toward the snow cabins.

While the resort manager led the way, Sienna Everett discreetly tugged on Julian Forrester’s sleeve, questioning him with her eyes.

Julian Forrester reached out and ruffled her hair. "Didn’t you love this place as a child?"

Sienna Everett froze, her clear, dark eyes filling with astonishment. ’Because I said I liked this place when I was a child, he developed an entire snow resort here?’

The man raised his hand and brushed a few snowflakes from the ends of her hair. His low, husky voice was both sexy and alluring. "From now on, whenever you want, you can come here anytime you like, hmm?"
