Achieving Nothing, I Can Only Be the Pirate King
Chapter 1254: The Era Must Accelerate! (10k) (End)
Kizaru sensed something, turned into yellow light, and disappeared.
Aside from that Radio Snail, only he and the Straw Hat were there. No one else.
After Sage soared into the sky, he quietly watched the Straw Hat and gave him the time as the burning white fire grew stronger.
Meanwhile, beneath the Red Earth Continent, at the newly opened Gate of Justice, a Space Gate appeared, where a ship was already waiting for Lily and the others to exit, ready for departure.
“The live broadcast Radio Snail here can be activated.”
Lily picked up the Radio Snail handed over by her subordinate and instructed.
Sage’s presence here wasn’t just about declaring war on the Straw Hat Pirates and the Revolutionary Army representing the Southeast Two Seas.
Beyond declaring his dominance to the world, defeating the leaders of the Straw Hat Pirates and the Revolutionary Army wasn’t enough in terms of strength.
To rule the world, the Four Seas must be united, without barriers. This battle is mainly about… destroying the Red Earth Continent.
Not by ancient weapons, but by pure force, accomplishing what hasn’t been done through millennia, so the whole world loses the courage to resist.
Thus, ruling will require much less effort.
The destruction of the Red Earth Continent must be witnessed by the entire world.
After confirming the retreat, Sage’s Radio Snail received the signal. He casually tossed the Radio Snail aside, sighing, “What a pity…”
“The Red Earth Continent is a place with great character, standing for so many years, forming the Grand Line, an even more unique location. Once the Red Earth Continent is gone, the Calm Belt naturally loses its space for existence. Those unique climates will diminish greatly. The ocean, in the future, will at most be just perilous seas.”
Luffy seemed completely recovered. He took a deep breath, clenched his fist, “Once I defeat you and become Pirate King, this barrier should disappear!”
“Heh heh heh… Even at this moment, you’re still dreaming big. It’s charming, but many things can’t be brought over.”
Sage chuckled lightly, said no more, and solemnly clasped his hands together, causing black light to burst forth.
For those who persist, mere words can’t compare to the utility of force.
Strike him down, and naturally, the problem is solved.
Why engage in debate when he’s already invincible? For what purpose does he hold this invincible status?
From the day he ascended to Demon God status, this world would only operate according to his will!
“I will defeat you! For comrades! For everyone in the vast ocean!”
His arms swelled as his chest and belly expanded. As Luffy leaped, his arms turned entirely into white flames, emitting brilliant light.
“Liberation Salute!”
His fist, glowing white like the sun, ascended upwards.
“Banquet Gun!!!”
His fists seemed to combine into one, forming a white comet shooting towards the heavens, aiming directly at the darkened sky, and under that shadow, the burst of black light from the Demon God.
The broadcast Radio Snails on the Red Earth Continent hadn’t vanished; they still transmitted, presenting two perspectives to the whole world—one inside the ruins of Mary Geoise, and another far overseas, depicting solely the Red Earth Continent.
Regardless of distance, everyone watched the white comet launching against the darkness. For the people of the Southeast Two Seas, each gazed upwards, showing admiration, anticipation, and a complex subtlety in their eyes.
Charging against the darkness was right, but the target was incorrect.
If they were against the Heavenly Celestial Dragons, they would silently bless them, knowing the Dragons were evil, and their deeds were despicable to everyone.
Even if the Revolutionary Army’s advance was rushed, causing many supplies to be continually provided, disregarding pirate havoc, victory might bring goodness.
It’s all about the growing pains.
But the adversary now is Calamity Sage.
People watched the broadcasts, and while they’d be happy if he could be defeated, it was clear he wasn’t their match. Forcing it might not mean victory.
The main thought was that Sage’s rule seemed decent.
People in the Northwest Two Seas lived comfortably; no pirate dared plunder them, jobs provided wages, food wasn’t expensive… Some wondered just when Sage would arrive to rule them.
Now Sage came, yet the Straw Hat Gang obstructed him.
So… it’s quite complicated.
On one hand, they hoped the Straw Hat would win, but felt indifferent about it. Maybe letting Calamity govern would better serve as a swift escape from their troubles.
Hope, at this point, wasn’t pure.
Unlike Sage’s governing, viewers in the Northwest Two Seas did not wish for Sage to lose.
The locals only knew Sage brought them prosperity. Replacing him with an unknown Revolutionary Army and the trouble-causing Straw Hat Pirates… could they truly govern them?
Does this vast ocean belong to their eligibility?
As for the remaining kings, they didn’t dare rebel.
They knew the Revolutionary Army’s reputation, that if they claimed the seas, they’d likely establish a more free Government, but with the risk of being overthrown at any time; nobody dared to gamble.
As for Calamity… he was so strong that nobody possessed the will to resist, and they felt this mode was quite enjoyable.
Being a king was mostly for monetary purposes.
Moreover, Calamity hadn’t stripped them of their authority; they were still ruling… at least, on the surface.
