Achieving Nothing, I Can Only Be the Pirate King
Chapter 1234: Imu!
Chapter 1234: Chapter 720: Imu!
The shadows erupted, rapidly advancing, adding a layer of darkness upon the moonlit ground like ink spreading over the earth, unfolding not far from Kuzan, then swiftly contracting, condensing into Moriah’s form.
From the distant city area, a furious howl surged through the sky, like a meteor descending, as a figure fell, stirring up surrounding debris that splashed and whirled, revealing Weevil’s physique at the center.
The heavy air followed the gradual approach of a blind man tapping a staff from afar.
“I once sensed your presence in Mary Geoise, but never met you during the disaster there. Alas, we meet here in O’hara. Is it a tragedy?” Issho said calmly.
“Hey hehehe! The Divine Knight Order, is it?”
Moriah laughed mischievously, bloodshot eyes staring, “You who dwell high above and hidden, finally dared to emerge? I heard you visited Elbaf, and got chased away by the Straw Hat. Now you dare to challenge us, what gave you such confidence?”
“Two admirals…”
Shamrock ignored Moriah, instead looking at Issho, then at Kuzan, frowning, “The Navy, Pirates or whatever, but following a great sinner, has your loyalty vanished completely?”
“I haven’t been with the Navy for long. Before that, I was merely a casino bodyguard, and those debts—shouldered by Sage.”
Issho held the middle of his blind staff with one hand, raising it as his other hand slid the front part upward, revealing a gleam as a segment of the staff sword emerged.
“However, I must thank the World Government, for allowing me to realize my aspirations. So, if you stand down now, I shall not act.”
“Ah la la, loyalty and such… I have indeed done quite a lot for the Navy, Shamrock Saint.”
Kuzan sighed, “But I can’t forget that scene from over twenty years ago. Is justice really like this? Not even sparing innocents. On reflection, it doesn’t align with my sense of justice.”
“I just wanted to view the world from a different angle, perhaps to discover a new kind of justice. My time with Teach was a lost pursuit of goals personal to me. But here, I believe I’ve found my aim… life feels fulfilling now.”
Kuzan’s words carried a hint of resentment.
Why was he the second to appear… Simply because he wasn’t faster than Lily.
Generally speaking, he discovered the strangers landing at the same time as Lily.
As for why…
Obviously, he was handling work!
Sage could rest at this hour, but could he?
Since taking over the government affairs, he hadn’t slept soundly once!
If the eye patch was Homiez, there’d be tears!
“Is that so…”
Shamrock nodded without expression as he listened to Kuzan, “Then let’s deal with the sinners together, Cerberus!”
The sword blade twisted, instantly bursting forth a new Three-headed Dog, spewing blades and black flames, striking faster than before.
As the Three-headed Dog erupted, spiraling circles formed upon the sword blade, exploding one after another, targeting those around.
Issho drew the staff sword, violet Gravity Spirit Light emitted from the blade.
Moriah chuckled, his shadow spreading like ink beneath him.
Lily tightened her grip on the sword hilt, eyes flashing with chill, about to strike…
“Ice Century!”
In an instant, the Three-headed Dogs were swept by icy breath, turning to ice sculptures.
“Whew…”
Frost gathered on half of Kuzan’s face as he exhaled cold air, gazing at the frozen surface, at Shamrock who blocked his ability with a sword, and at the three adjacent ice sculptures.
The ice sculptures couldn’t hold for long before shattering, unveiling three unharmed figures.
“Ah la la, indeed not easy.”
Kuzan scratched his head, then glanced back at the Royal Palace, “Not coming? Never mind, we’re one more, let’s fight first.”
“Nightmare Cave!”
As soon as the words fell, Killingham, bearing a dragon’s head, pointed skyward, sweeping up the edge of a dark cloud like a space left blank in a fantasy, revealing multiple scenes within the cloud featuring peculiar creatures, which then emerged clawing from it, spreading into half the city!
“Night is perfect for dreaming!”
Killingham shouted loudly, “Especially here, where prosperity arose abruptly, causing many to dread it! Fear it might collapse, fear it might fall, beneath the frenzied surface lies profound anxiety, nightmares… birthed from it!”
A titan with blue-black skin and six arms exited the dream, its massive body like a mountain, capable of crushing a building with a single step.
A creature formed of lava with a liquid body flowed hotly, moving toward the city.
A colony resembling ants, each the height of a human, eyes vacant like in rabies, more berserk than Moriah’s zombies.
Various grotesque creatures surged toward the Royal City.
These were the objects of deepest fear, symbolizing broken order, twisted prosperity, all annihilated under disaster’s embodiment.
Killingham, Mythical Kirin Fruit Ability User, alongside the unique physique of the Zoan-type, possesses foremost the ability of dreams.
