The people didn’t care about the lightning clouds that were vanishing slowly. Shi Tao, Hao Mei, Yu Xeidi, and Xiao Meng were worried about the red lightning sword that was penetrating Shi Lang’s chest. They were not the only ones, it was the entire Asura Hall Command Center.

Raksha materialized next to him, she raised her head to look up to the cloud and found that the golden light was descending on Shi Lang’s body. She asked, “Why are you not using your new strength?”
Shi Lang replied, “Well, this sword is like a seal in my body. It has lodged itself inside my Dao Tree.”
He smiled while talking, but his eyes were starting to twitch. He was in a pain that nobody could even imagine. The Dao Tree in his mouth was the spine. The tree had merged with his body.
Raksha rolled her eyes and said while basking in the golden radiance, “Since you are one with the Dao Terre now, why not absorb this thing. Decode the Dao Runes and manifest the branch of destruction. Looking at the situation reports that have poured in from the Dao Plain, I am sure that you will need the power of destruction.”
Shi Lang opened his eyes wide and said, “Well, you do make a fair point.”
Raksha snorted and replied, “Did you take me for some low intelligence spirit? Get on with it, the radiance won’t wait for you.”
Shi Lang bowed his head slightly as he cussed himself for not calling Raksha early, and he closed his eyes to focus on integrating the sword of destruction in his body. He was not afraid of making a mistake, because since the tribulation ended, the destruction dao that condensed the sword had lost the intent to destroy.
It was akin to a space ring that was worn by a skeleton. It was an artifact that belonged to someone but that someone was missing, leaving the artifact free for the taking. Shi Lang smiled when he thought about this. The destruction sword began to shrink faster with every passing moment, and the Terran began to recover as he absorbed the golden radiance. His speed was fast.
Raksha nodded slightly and then she looked at the cracked spear as she said, “Kunan, now would be a good time for you to absorb some of the radiance, and heal. A cracked spirit weapon cannot house an able spirit.”
Kunan materialized before her and said, “This radiance belongs to Master.”
Raksha shook her head and replied, “It belongs to all of us, as we fought the tribulation together. Now, heal. Only then you would be of use to your master.”
Kunan thought for a moment and then nodded, as she began to absorb the radiance.

Amelia said, “Tao, get us back up. The tribulation took out eighty percent of the structures. We need to rebuild. Also, this time please make it impressive and secure. I am tired of looking at us as a military establishment.”
Xiao Meng giggled and said, “Ma, Baba wanted it to be like that.”
Amelia snorted and said, “Let him be. He can sleep in the tent outside if he wants to. The other sects don’t take us seriously because we look like a renegade force. Asura Hall has the strength that can afford some vanity. If anyone has any complaints, they can come to me.”
The elders smiled and then Shi Tao initiated the sequence. The bunkers opened and one after the other all the people collected the equipments in their space ring and flew up through the tunnels that led them down.

Shi Lang finished absorbing the Destruction Laws and then his body began to fly up in the void with his eyes closed. He levitated in the void, assuming the fetal position and the fluctuations emitted by his body changed within a blink. The golden radiance wrapped his body like a cocoon.
Shi Lang’s body discarded all the impurities way back, but this time, his soul did the same. The small figure inside the soul sea appeared completely similar to Shi Lang, but even more handsome.
When the Terran opened his eyes, his body was as good as new, and his expression was calm, as if he had attained peace. The fact was that Shi Lang had managed to attain balance in his mind. He didn’t abandon the emotions and nor did he give up on the path of Dao. He just simply managed to find a way where both of these things could work together.
The ambition to strive towards the greater Dao kept him sane and not giving into the vices of the seven emotions. Yes, it was not that simple to overcome the emotions. However, it was equally difficult to become a Dao seeker who cared for nothing but the progression on his path.
Shi Lang credited his two lives that made him understand the balance between many things in life. They have shaped him to be the man that he was today. As Shi Lang opened his eyes, he observed himself, and found a faint change in his aura. It was no longer that of a killer, but it was more in sync with the fluctuations of the Dao and the nature. The Terran was sure, that if he was to use his full power to hide himself, the lower realm people might not be able to sense him even if he stood before them.
He landed on the ground, and his hair fluttered in the wind. After a moment, the seal of supreme appeared on his forehead and it stung him a little. When the seal stopped stinging, he sensed it and found that the aura in his body had merged with the seal of supreme. So, now, as long as he released his aura, it would have a trace of supremacy.
Shi Lang smiled, and then he began to look around, the landscape had changed a lot. He sighed and said, “The money to rebuild all of this again it might make us go broke.”

Shi Lang crossed his legs and sat down in the void, as he stored away Tribulation Spear as well. Around his body halos of runes appeared. Shi Lang was inspecting his body in depth and that was causing the Dao Laws to resonate with him and produce the Dao Runes. The only law that didn’t appear in all these runes was the law of time.
Shi Lang had comprehended the laws of time, but his understanding towards them was still similar to the seed of an apple, while the rest of the laws seemed to be the apple itself. Shi Lang was now a sage, and this ascension was going to cause a lot of sensation through the Dao Plain, and the ten thousand races.
