"Welcome back, Your Highness!" After Orion entered the city of the Elven War Kingdom, one of the Elves quickly came to greet him, someone who clearly held a position of standing among the guards.

That Elf looked at Orion and felt his overwhelming aura, immediately feeling like nothing more than a tiny insect standing before a giant. His eyes widened even further when he sensed Valeria’s aura— true, it wasn’t quite like Orion’s, but it wasn’t far off either.

"Your Highness, is this..." the guard gestured toward Valeria with his finger from the side and winked at Orion.

"No, it’s not like that, you bastard. She’s one of the generals of the City of Light, and she’s here today acting as an envoy!" Orion waved his hand, then grabbed the guard by the neck and squeezed with his arm, smiling as he clarified the matter.

"Kh! Kh! Your Highness, please let go of my neck! At this rate I’ll suffocate any second now!" The guard struck Orion’s massive arm several times, speaking with difficulty, his face turning blue from the strangling grip!

After Orion had toyed with the guard for a while, he finally released his neck, patted him on the back, and asked, "By the way, where’s my father right now?"

"His Majesty is currently in the throne hall discussing several matters with the rest of the ministers, and the captain of the guard has already gone to inform him of Your Highness’s arrival!" The guard bowed slightly and reported what he knew.

"Good, lead the way then." Orion waved his hand and patted the guard’s back lightly, the smile never leaving his face.

"But Your Highness, the captain of the guard gave us instructions to receive you and have you wait here until His Majesty is informed and returns!" the guard said nervously, but he was soon shocked to find his face suddenly stuck to the dirt...

Thwack!

Orion slapped the back of the guard’s head at once, sending him toppling forward, and said in an angry tone, "Has my short absence made you all forget who I am, or what? Since when do I take orders from a mere doorman!"

The guards standing around Orion immediately stepped back the moment they felt his aura, and some of them had already dropped to the ground!

Tsk!

Orion clicked his tongue in annoyance and gestured toward Valeria and his aide Billy. "Follow me!"

The moment he said this, Orion leapt up with tremendous force and soared off in a certain direction. Seeing this, Valeria immediately took off flying after him, while Billy followed on foot, running and leaping, since he was still at the Third Level and hadn’t yet gained the flight ability exclusive to Fourth Level beings.

After some time, in a massive throne hall, an imposing throne made of spears and swords stood at the center of the hall atop a large platform. Seated upon it was an old man with red hair and a massive, heavily muscled build, bearing a strong resemblance to Orion. Around him sat numerous people who carried an air of dignity, status, and gravity. And kneeling before the throne at that very moment was the captain of the guard.

"Your Majesty, His Highness the Crown Prince has just returned, but it seems he’s brought with him a great number of people who are very well-equipped, and it looks like there are over ten thousand of them!"

The king stroked his long beard and began running his fingers through it, and after a moment of thought, he looked around and said in a deep voice, "What are your thoughts?"

"Most likely, these people the Crown Prince has brought back with him are those who survived the destruction of the City of Light— that would explain why he took so long to return!" said one of the ministers, twirling his mustache with his finger.

"We received news about a year ago that the City of Light was facing multiple wars and was on the verge of falling, and His Highness the Crown Prince volunteered at the time to go check on the matter. It seems it really has fallen now, and that news was indeed true!" spoke a woman who appeared to be in her fifties, with golden hair, and she continued, "So I agree with this view— that these people who returned with the Crown Prince are the survivors of the fall of the City of Light!"

The king listened to his ministers’ opinions, nodding along with each one that matched his own thinking, and opened his mouth to deliver the final word— but at that very moment, someone shoved the door open with force and no respect whatsoever!

BOOM!

Orion shoved open the doors of the throne hall with such force that they slammed hard against the walls, and he strode forward with large steps and a confident aura toward the throne!

"Your Highness, I clearly remember ordering the guards to receive you and have you wait until—!" The captain of the guard stood in front of Orion, speaking in a formal tone tinged with some anger, but before he could finish his sentence, he found Orion’s hand gripping his face and shoving him back with force!

"Get out of my way, you foolish bastard!" Orion scratched his ear with his finger and shoved the captain of the guard’s face aside with his other hand, utterly indifferent, then continued on his way toward the throne. He came to a stop right in front of the king and grabbed hold of his head!

"How are you doing, Father? I’m back! Mwah!" Orion kissed his father’s head, and the king patted Orion’s hand gently, smiling, and said...

"Welcome back, son!"

After this warm reunion between father and son, Orion moved off to the side toward a slightly smaller throne, less imposing than the king’s, but positioned right beside the main throne on the same platform, and Orion sat down on it!

The king glanced briefly at his son, then ignored him and turned his gaze toward the beautiful girl who had come with him, smiling so widely that his grin stretched from ear to ear— but Orion’s next words made him frown again!

"It’s not what you’re thinking, old man!" Orion rested his cheek on his fist and sat comfortably on his own throne, speaking in an irritated tone!

"Oh! Then who is she?" The king turned to his son and asked in confusion, but a sudden realization struck him almost immediately, and he looked at his son slyly, smiling again. "Or has she just not become what I’m thinking of— yet!"

"She’s one of the generals of the City of Light, old man." Orion waved his hand, then said in an annoyed tone, "And she’s not going to become what you’re thinking!"

"Oh! I understand now!" The king nodded and quickly asked another question. "So the people outside are also survivors from the City of Light?"

"Survivors from the City of Light?" Orion raised an eyebrow slightly in confusion and looked at his father questioningly. "What do you mean by that?"
