"My Liege, if I may ask, are you still angry about what happened?" Ayat walked behind Vaelor and asked with concern. Vaelor had remained silent ever since leaving the High Council of Industry until now, which only deepened her worry.

"Angry! About what?" Vaelor raised an eyebrow, puzzled by Ayat’s question.

"I mean angry about the problem that happened just now, and having to intervene to solve it," Ayat answered, taken aback by King Vaelor’s reaction.

"Ahh, hahahaha! You mean that? Why would I be angry over that in the first place — I only put on that face to put some pressure on them and force them to get past their differences with one another!" Vaelor rubbed his neck, a faint smile forming on his face...

"I know everyone is under pressure and carries many responsibilities, but that’s necessary because we’re still at the beginning of building this kingdom, and all we’re lacking is time," Vaelor smiled and said calmly, then pulled out a metal card the size of a palm — a memory card — along with a small box!

When Ayat saw this card and this box, her eyes lit up and she immediately felt a surge of excitement!

To her, every single time King Vaelor pulled out one of these items, the City of Light would leap several steps forward!

"I want you all to start hastening the construction of the Academy and finishing up the High Council of Administration and the High Council of Research and Development, as well as hastening the establishment of the High Council of Alchemy and the High Council of Spirit Arts," Vaelor handed the metal card and the small box to Ayat and continued giving instructions...

"In here you’ll find the names of numerous ores, rocks, and various other important resources, along with methods for prospecting them and how to refine and use them in manufacturing from start to finish.

In addition, there are teaching and training robots for producing the appropriate personnel. You’ll also find the basics of array-crafting, the basics of crafting, and the basics of weapons manufacturing.

The armies will begin returning in the coming days — they’ll be disbanded and the soldiers distributed to various tasks, each according to what he excels at, and we’ll only keep the very best soldiers. This way, we’ll have solved the manpower shortage as well as the other problems!"

Of course, Vaelor had given her these things to speed up the City of Light’s development. But he hadn’t given her everything — he kept most of what he’d obtained from the Red Lotus Palace to himself. He wanted to wait longer until they had fully absorbed what he’d already given them, and only then would he give them more, waiting until he saw them surpass themselves and begin innovating on their own!

Ayat took the card and the small box with great care and quickly placed them into her storage ring, then looked at King Vaelor with complicated eyes. "But my Liege, if the army is disbanded and we keep only the select few, how will we invade the continent with such a small number?"

"Don’t trouble yourself with that — that’s a matter with its own plan and its own time!" Vaelor waved his hand, then asked another question. "Has the bank-construction team and its workforce been prepared as I ordered you?"

Ayat nodded upon hearing this question and quickly answered, "Yes, my Liege!"

Elsewhere, in a place filled with dense forests, space warped at a certain spot, quickly growing turbulent, twisting and spinning upon itself, and after several seconds, the space split open and a spatial passage appeared!

This passage remained empty for several minutes, until finally a foot stepped out of it!

Sidar stepped forward, followed by his aide and sister Tala, and the two didn’t stop, advancing further ahead. Behind them, rows of elves began emerging, led by those who had reached the fourth level, and the moment they emerged, they took to the sky at once. After them, the Sky Legion emerged from the spatial passage, and likewise, the moment they emerged, they took flight, following those of the fourth level. After them came the infantry out of the passage, followed by the cavalry mounted on four-horned elk, and finally, several people rode a number of carts loaded with numerous storage bags full of provisions, food, and equipment.

Sidar stepped forward, and once he’d reached a suitable distance from the passage and confirmed the entire army had emerged and was ready, he took hold of his sister’s waist and rose up into the air, flying and looking toward the nearby horizon.

There before him, a few kilometers away, he could see a city with its lights burning bright, and he could sense the pulse of life within it!

"Sister, what do you suggest!" Without looking beside him, Sidar asked, seeking her counsel.

Tala had been raised during the ancient wars, spending most of her days in the army carrying out missions. Their grandfather, Advisor Gao, had personally raised and taught her, and to Sidar she was his teacher and trainer — he acknowledged that she was more experienced than him, and one of the wisest-minded elves around.

"We’ll first send them a single fourth-level individual to show them the extent of his strength and invite them to surrender peacefully. If they refuse, we’ll send all our fourth-level warriors, along with the entire Sky Legion, to show them the gap between us and them. If they still refuse, we’ll show them their king’s severed head and demonstrate to them what their fate will be," Tala spoke, her tone growing colder with every word she said, until by the end her killing intent was palpable! "And if they still refuse, we’ll bring our punishment down upon them and make them the lowest of the low!"

"A fine suggestion indeed, sister!" Sidar nodded, casting one last glance at the Centaur Kingdom before descending back down.

Sidar walked over, took a piece of paper, and filled it with a few words, then pointed to one of the men he knew and handed him the paper. "Go to them and read this letter of mine aloud!"

"As you command!" The fourth-level warrior saluted, took General Sidar’s letter, and flew off toward the Centaur Kingdom. After a few seconds, he stood above the royal palace, opened the letter, and began reading. Using the Cosmic Law of Formation to manipulate his voice, it spread throughout every corner of the kingdom...

"From General Sidar, on behalf of His Majesty the Greatest Conqueror, King Vaelor, King of the Kingdom of Light.

We call upon you to surrender peacefully, and seek no path of resistance. Do not be like those before you, who allied together to bring us down, only to become among the perished, while we remained the ones who prevailed.

If you surrender, then what is ours shall be yours, and what falls upon us shall fall upon you. And if you refuse, your refusal shall not harm us — we shall send you to join those who came before you, and make of you a lesson for those who come after...

And peace be upon you!"
