Absolute Beast Dominion
Chapter 715: Great Strategic Rewards
Ding!
Voidfang Panther (Mid 4-star) killed - 70,000 XP × 3
Level 31: 500,000 -> 710,000 / 1,550,000
These were the kill notifications that Leo received after Shyra hunted the beasts in her location. In due time, another notification would come when she killed the last beast.

It was also at this time that the beam in the centre of the region, which shot through the stone hut, died down.
Claim the capturing rewards from the structure at the centre and bring them in contact with the spirit beam of the Academy's stronghold for permanent ownership.
That was the last message before the text disappeared, and nothing remained.
Even though everything seemed safe, Leo was still cautious and told Ronan and the others to stay back and guard the area while he himself went in to check the rewards.
There was a small opening in the hut through which Leo could see 2 objects.
They were suspended mid-air through some magic, with a white glow encasing them.
"Two things?" Leo muttered.
Wasn't there supposed to be just some summoning shard which the announcement had talked about?
He grew curious and went in.
Both objects were small enough to be held in his hand. The first thing Leo took was a beast scale-like object with intricate circuits built into it.
Just as Leo held it, the white glow keeping it suspended vanished, and a holographic message displayed over the object.
Summoning Shard
Leo nodded and tried to keep it in his spiritual space.
Ding!
> The object is blessed with higher beings authority and cannot be placed into spatial storage or spiritual space without permission.
Leo frowned—exactly the kind of reaction somebody would give when coming across an object which wouldn't go into spatial storage. Even though Leo got to know the reason through the system message, he pretended as if it was new for him so as not to raise suspicion.
Following that, he kept it in the side pocket of his pants and went to retrieve the next object.
Leo was surprised to see that it was some kind of modern tab that looked equally magical in its appearance.
When Leo caught it, the glow disappeared, and some text appeared that gave information about it.
[Frostfall Domain - Single Use Artefact]
Range: 5 km diameter
Duration: 30 minutes
- Creates an extreme-cold region with heavy snowfall across the entire area.
- Random Intervals: Massive sharp and pointed ice pillars erupt beneath random enemies, launching them upward and disrupting their movement.
- Every 1 Minute: A wave of icicles rains across the entire region, automatically targeting nearby enemies.
Allies remain completely unaffected
That was the description that was relayed, which caught Leo by surprise.
This thing was like a surprise reward that wasn't mentioned in the announcement.
"This… will be quite useful." Leo didn't pay attention to things like a region with heavy snowfall. This could be created by Dhalia and Miho alone, though with a smaller range, the effect would be the same and could even be better with wind from Uraan or Lily supporting them.
What he saw was that the allies remained unaffected which couldn't be achieved perfectly when the students did it with their abilities.
This was a strategic tool which might as well make a losing battle a winning one.
No wonder it specifically said to be brought near the stronghold's spirit beam to form a connection and effectively 'register' the allies who were supposed to be unaffected.
He also saw the map of the whole realm on the tab's screen, where he could zoom in, zoom out, and select a region, then press the 'deploy' button, by which the region would be established.
Unfortunately, even this tab couldn't be kept in his spiritual space.
"I wonder what kind of artefact that Voidfang Panther domain would provide."
With that done, Leo called Agnivar down, and they started to move.
Leo noticed that out of the initial 20 spirit beams shooting into the sky—10 strongholds after the dragons eliminated the others and 10 flag zones—almost 5 had disappeared.
"There goes another one."
Now 6.
It seemed that people were finishing capturing the flags one by one, but who knew if some of them were beams of academies too.
And even if no academies were eliminated yet, that would change now.
"Sir Leo… we aren't going towards our academy," Cecil said, pointing at the region covered in a storm—their stronghold—from which they were getting further away.
"Oh right, we are going to eliminate the Evergrove Sovereign Academy's stronghold," Leo said matter-of-factly.
"How dare they attack our stronghold behind our backs?"
Cecil simply raised both of her brows in surprise, while Ronan immediately got excited.
"Rhaegar, sit on Agnivar's back alongside Thalvyr when we initiate the attack. The elves' arrows have nasty accuracy, which might get you hit."
Leo said this to the eagleman who was flying behind them. Even now, he seemed to be struggling to keep up with Leo and Agni's flight speed with his Low 3-star strength.
"I understand, Sir Leo!" Rhaegar responded, though he still didn't make any attempt to sit on Agni's back.
Only when Leo directly told him to did he sit on Agnivar's back.
And soon enough, the Evergrove Stronghold came into view.
"Lily informed me that she had already defeated 7 of their rankers. This will be a breeze!" Saying that, Leo changed his trajectory and directly descended towards the stronghold.
Agnivar also started to lower his altitude to drop Ronan and Cecil so that they could freely act.
The elves in the stronghold had already been worried after 7 dots on the life bracelets dimmed almost instantly when they saw Agni's silhouette descending rapidly towards their location.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no…" The person in charge of keeping an eye on the sky muttered in a tone that displayed pure panic, thinking a dragon had come to attack them.
But then he observed for a moment and realised it was a Wyvern.
"Oh crap… which student tamed a damn Wyvern?!"
Somehow, to that particular elf, this felt like an even worse revelation.
