Chapter 3034: Chapter 3035: Kiss After Kiss

When the two parted, it was only when the Astrologer turned back that he realized something was off.

Bai Ruozhu’s senior brother’s brother, who should be Bai Ruozhu’s elder brother, how did he become their brother? Quickly, he shouldn’t be older than Jiang Yichun, but he is older than Bai Ruozhu. Jiang Yichun is too shrewd, intentionally demoting him to a younger brother.

Forget it, he has no other thoughts now, he just wants to have a good talk with Lady Ao Song.

He couldn’t help but quicken his pace. As he was about to reach the yard, he heard someone talking nearby. He perked up his ears; it seemed like Ao Song’s voice.

Walking closer, he saw two people standing beside the artificial hill. One was indeed Ao Song, and the other was tall and burly, wasn’t it Sangta?

Bastard! Trying to hook up with his wife again, he must teach this guy a lesson!

Just as he thought this, the fire in his heart instantly extinguished. If it weren’t for him pretending to have amnesia, there wouldn’t be any matter concerning Sangta.

It’s all his own doing!

"Don’t come looking for me again. Even if the Astrologer doesn’t remember me, I’m still his wife, always will be, and my heart won’t have anyone else in it." Ao Song said somewhat angrily.

In an instant, the Astrologer’s heart was filled to the brim, his wife, always will be, won’t have anyone else.

"You don’t like him at all, you’re just trying to repay a debt of gratitude, stop lying to yourself." Sangta said unwillingly.

"Sangta, it’s you who needs to wake up. I used to like you, maybe it was partly sympathy after I saved you. But later on, your indifference made it into an obsession. After finally letting go, I realized there wasn’t much to it." Ao Song laughed, "I’ve fallen for the Astrologer, but I’m not sure if it’s more gratitude or affection, until my mother said she would arrange for him to marry another woman, I panicked, and then I knew he was already in my heart, I couldn’t bear to see him marry someone else."

She laughed and shook her head, "But if you were to marry now, I wouldn’t be anxious, instead, I’d bless you."

"What do you mean? Are you saying you always held sympathy and obsession for me, but never liked me?" Sangta asked incredulously.

"Maybe I did like you, but not anymore, I’ve found the one destined for me," Ao Song laughed. The breeze lifted her hair, making her appear free and ethereal, her smile was extremely warm.

Sangta stared in a daze, but he knew that smile wasn’t for him; it appeared only when she remembered the one she loved.

Feeling unsteady, he staggered back and leaned harshly against the artificial hill. The protrusion hurt his back painfully, but he didn’t care, his heart hurt more.

What am I, I’m a joke, aren’t I?

"I understand, congratulations on your marriage. I won’t disturb you anymore." He walked away disheartened.

A guard from the Zhong Family spotted Sangta and moved to apprehend him. Ao Song quickly dispersed them, "Don’t stop him, let him go."

"Yes."

The guards responded in unison, but the sound pricked Sangta once more, letting him go... let him go... turns out she wanted him to leave long ago.

Sangta wore a smile, but it was uglier than crying. Once he left the Zhong Family, he collapsed in his temporary tent.

Ao Song suppressed her reluctance; she should have been more resolute by now, for herself, for the Astrologer, and for Sangta.

She turned around and saw the Astrologer standing not far away, staring at her, her heart tightened, would he be angry?

Suddenly, she saw the Astrologer smile at her, walking toward her step by step.

He wasn’t walking fast, but not slow either, yet she couldn’t take her eyes off his face, as if seeing it for a millennium.

He was smiling at her, did he remember her?

The Astrologer stood before her, holding her hand, gently saying, "Let’s go back."

Ao Song, feeling flattered, nodded eagerly, her head bobbing like a pecking chick, "Yes, let’s go back, go back."

The Astrologer couldn’t help but laugh, tightened his grip on her hand, their palms heated, and a slight sweat seeped out.

The servants of the Zhong Family looked at the two, showing envy, thinking Lady Ao Song’s husband was indeed handsome, a perfect match made in heaven.

Once back inside, the Astrologer suddenly embraced Ao Song.

"I actually remember everything, but I thought your heart wasn’t with me, didn’t want you to spend your life with me out of gratitude. I didn’t want to keep your presence but lose your heart." The Astrologer decided to tell the truth, even if Bai Ruozhu and Jiang Yichun wanted to shield him, he believed couples should be honest with each other, and he had no desire to deceive Ao Song.

Ao Song was stunned, taking a while to recover, angrily said, "You dare to lie to me, do you know how anxious I was? I cried so many times."

She was so angry that she punched him, but the Astrologer caught her wrist, and leaning in, kissed her directly.

His brother said, when a woman is angry, this method is practically effective.

Sure enough, Ao Song softened, her face blushing, even her breathing became difficult.

However, the Astrologer wasn’t in much better shape. It was their first kiss, and once separated, they both gasped for air.

"I don’t care, this isn’t over between us," Ao Song said coyly.

The Astrologer directly kissed her red lips again; his poor kissing technique made her lips swell but even more enticing.

He didn’t know kissing could be so wonderful; it was like he became addicted, wanting more and more...

Jianqi had already reported the happenings in the garden to Bai Ruozhu. Bai Ruozhu excitedly patted Jiang Yichun on the shoulder, "Old Jiang, you’re amazing, it’s really a pity if you’re not a matchmaker, my efforts for so long were not as effective as your involvement." 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

Jiang Yichun was speechless, "What old Jiang, call me husband."

"Fine, fine, husband is mighty, husband is awesome!" Bai Ruozhu clapped her hands and laughed.

Seeing two about to show affection again, Jianqi quickly retreated, deciding to go find his Yizi.

Jiang Yichun tapped Bai Ruozhu’s nose, "Now you know how good your husband is? Do you admire me or not?"

Bai Ruozhu smiled, hooking his neck, "Admire, if you find the mole who stole Xiaoxiao’s meat, I’ll admire you profoundly."

"No need for profound admiration, just serve me well in the future."

He deliberately emphasized the word "serve," wearing a mischievous grin.

Bai Ruozhu pinched his ear, "Rascal, who said they would serve you?"

"Then let me serve my wife," he laughed heartily.

She blushed and hit him, "Catch the mole first, stop boasting."

"Alright, just wait."

Jiang Yichun was full of determination and began investigating earnestly. Meanwhile, after a few days, the Zhong Family let Madam Zhong inquire Bai Ruozhu if she wanted to visit Xiaoxiao.

----

Poor Sangta suffered another heartbreak, unfortunately for him, not being a biological child, this baby just loves the Astrologer, hoho~
